In the "Three Caves and Preface" it says: "The origin of the three caves is the same as the spirit of Taoism; the spirit of Taoism is only one, but it is divided into three parts, all to induce laymen to cultivate immortality, and to gradually differentiate from ordinary people to attain Taoism, so there are three names."

That is to say, the essence of the three caves all comes from the same Tao energy, but they are divided into three different names because of different applications.
