Chapter 566: Chat

Chapter 566: Chatting

Le Yu recalled for a moment and said, "It seems...it seems that there is!"

Tie Hongyan said: "The children with numbers on their clothes are child laborers without relatives, all of them are blue armor people. In the past, some children ran around when they were supposed to be working, and they were difficult to manage. Those numbers were marked on their clothes to make it easier to manage them."

Le Yu suddenly understood that when Lian Boyuan scolded her, he was just angry but didn't tell her this. She wanted to say "those children are pitiful", but she remembered Lian Boyuan's advice again, so she didn't say it, and only said: "So that's how it is. I didn't know it at the time, but now I understand." She really didn't want to continue discussing this matter, so she smiled and changed the subject: "Young Patriarch, besides apples, what other fruits do you like to eat?"

Seeing Le Yu smile, Tie Hongyan felt happier than before and said, "Peach. How about you? Do you like peaches?"

"Not bad!" Le Yu said, "Do you like the rare fruits that only a few people in the tribe can eat?"

"I like it too."

Le Yu said, "Is there any fruit you don't like?"

"Well, it seems to be true. But I particularly like apples and peaches, even though they are easier to find than those rare fruits. Do you have any particular fruits that you like to eat?" Tie Hongyan said.

"Yes, I like honeydew melon very much!" Le Yu said. She didn't want Tie Hongyan to bring up the previous topic again, so she quickly asked, "What's your favorite color?"

"As for color... I feel that I like all colors similarly. I don't seem to have any particular favorite. If I have to say, I would say that I like the color of the Fiery Rose. However, that color may not cause me too strong a feeling if it is placed somewhere else. When that color appears on the Fiery Rose, I can feel the strong color of life from it. Rather than saying that I like the color of the Fiery Rose, it is better to say that I like the flower of the Fiery Rose." Tie Hongyan said.

"So that's the kind of flower you like."

"Well. What color do you like?" Tie Hongyan asked.

"I like green the most, the color of the grass and sprouts that break through the ground in spring. When I see that kind of green, I often feel not only vitality but also peace." Le Yu said. "One of my favorite plants happens to be green, and it grows in the desert." Tie Hongyan said.

Le Yu blurted out: "Cactus, right?"

"Yes. Cactus is very tenacious and its flowers are very beautiful. What kind of plants do you like?"

Le Yu thought for a moment and said, "I like the most common and ordinary grass. From breaking out of the soil, to becoming greener, to turning yellow, to drying up... after a cycle, the next year, it will break out of the soil again, become greener, turn yellow, and dry up... I like this endless cycle of life."

The two chatted about other things and had a very pleasant conversation. The more they talked, the more excited they became. Later, Le Yu couldn't stop laughing again.

Seeing that Le Yu had regained her sunny self, Tie Hongyan asked, "Are you in a better mood now?"

"Yeah." Le Yu said.

"Then I have to go back and get busy." Tie Hongyan said.

"You are very busy, but you chatted with me for a long time to cheer me up, right?" Le Yu asked.

"I like talking to you. But now I really have to leave. Goodbye!" Tie Hongyan said with a smile and left.
