Cross- Roads:- What to choose love or friendship

When Hayley finally felt assured that she was the only one in this house she opens the door of her room little bit and still didn't come out she just peeked through door when she confirmed that Aaron was finally gone she came out and took her blouse and went inside her room again with lightning speed and closed the door shut. If Keith would have been here he would have laughed his head off after seeing Hayley's antics just now and Tyler would have said something sarcastic.

When embarrassment subsided Hayley was filled with anger, it was good that Aaron was not right in front of her now otherwise he would have felt the wrath of hell. Hayley was very angry till she saw the set of keys and note that Aaron left for her. So that was how he came in without ringing the doorbell because he had another set of keys and it seem reasonable because he was the owner and he was occupying a room in this apartment, this apartment had three rooms in which Hayley had accesses of two rooms while one was locked which Aaron keep it to himself which Hayley didn't mind it at all till now. But now since Aaron did this she felt sweet inside and little mushy. He left the key which owner does that.

It had been a week since that incident but Hayley was still not ready to face Aaron but she had no other choice it was another get together they all planned but this time it was important because they were celebrating Keith and Ginny's engagement. They both were engaged for quite a time now but today's the day when Scott's announced their engagement to the public. They were celebrating today and there was no way Hayley could miss it and she had to face Aaron one day or another.

When Hayley arrived at the venue, party was in full swing everyone was there not just their core group but whole office staff and business associates and each and every person Keith and Ginny knows. It looks like Hayley was the last one to arrive. The moment she arrived certain someone eyes glow. Caleb had been waiting for Hayley, he offered to drive her to the venue but she had refused. He had been looking towards the entrance every passing minute and when he finally saw her entering it feels like that spring had finally came for him. She looks beautiful in that red dress. It looks like red was her favorite color she wears red a lot but he must admit that red suits her way well then any other color. When Hayley saw Caleb she smiles at him, the moment she saw him she felt relaxed Hayley hates to admit that she was not comfortable in parties and social gatherings. She was always on the edge in these kind of events but after seeing Caleb there she somehow felt that she was going to get through this party but the moment her gaze landed on the person standing beside Caleb all relief she felt a moment ago went outside the window. Aaron standing beside Caleb in all white suit and holding a glass of wine in his hand. Looking in every direction as if he was bored but the moment he saw her and their eyes meet she saw something like amazement, adoration and guilt all these emotions flash in his eyes in one moment and then it all gone. All this while Hayley didn't realize when Caleb walked towards her and now standing right in front of her " why are you so late?" finally Hayley realized that she was still standing in the entrance. She composed herself and looked at Caleb and smiled " I got stuck in traffic." She replied that to his question, Caleb smiled after hearing this and he extended his hand towards Hayley which she took gladly. At first Hayley always hesitates before touching him but now it come naturally to her and that makes Caleb happy. What was wrong with him these days Caleb thought. Nevertheless it is not the time to think about this. He escorted Hayley to the group of friends and they all got into talking. Hayley also talked to Sarah and few other elders Sarah introduced her to and then retreated back in a corner. She was not feeling well, she wants to sit down suddenly she feels weak. She staggered a bit and she might have fell to the ground if those two sturdy hands didn't steadied her by holding. " are you alright?" asked Aaron rather concerned.
