Cross- Roads:- What to choose love or friendship

She looked at two people kissing right in front of her one was love of her life and other was a friend at workplace, a senior she always look up to. Shyla was their senior at workplace, she was always nice and smiling and encouraging towards Hayley, whenever she faces any problem with the work assigned for her Shyla would help her out. Shyla was like an older sister to her she didn't realize that she was also eyeing Jarred. But one thing that Hayley didn't understand that why would Shyla cheat on her husband. Yes Shyla was a married woman with a child of four year, sweet little baby girl. Hayley wanted to run away and hide but she was never a coward one thing that she hold on to was her dignity and in this situation she wasn't at the fault, those two shameless people who were making out right in front of her were at the fault so why would she run and hide. She took a deep breath and pushed back the tears that threaten to fall, she will them back and took long strides towards them but as she move closer to them all the thought of confrontation that she had a moment ago, she threw it out of window. She just walked passed them, as if sensing that there was someone else expect them they both broke their kiss and looked up and the moment their eyes fell on Hayley they both froze. She stared at both of them there was look of disgust in her eyes but she didn't show any shred of hurt on her face. She didn't want them to think that they hurt her some way. Before anyone of them could say anything she walked in and took her house key from the table near the door and walked out. Hayley wanted to yell and shout but that would had meant that she was hurt. So she held her head high and walked past them and then after few moments she heard the voice of Jarred calling out her name . She didn't want to hear and don't want to look at those cheating jerks faces.

Hayley needs to spend one more week in that office being around those two cheating jerks. They both came to her one by one to apologize and tell her that they didn't want to hurt her. But Hayley was only focused on how to end her internship as soon as possible and get out this environment . Towards the last day of her internship she started to think of all the firms she would apply for a job but it is going to take a while before she was going to get a stable job, but when she got home that day she saw her mom cooking and humming a song in the kitchen. She seems happy and Hayley was glad to see that because it had been a long while since her mother cooked and hummed like this, but what made her mother smile like this.
