Cross- Roads:- What to choose love or friendship

When Aaron reached Scott Mansion he was told by servant that Keith and rest was waiting for him in Keith's study. When he entered the room he got to know that he was last one there. Keith, Caleb and Tyler was sitting on sofas around coffee table and talking to each other and when they saw him there was an expression on their face which Aaron knew was mix of anxiety, fear and anger. He knew that when his friends would get to know about Rachel's arrival they will be behaving like this they all transform into lioness who will do anything to protect her cubs. Aaron knew they all were worried for him and these gestures of his friends always made him feel loved and protected. He reached them and saw that Keith was about to say something and Aaron very well knew what he was about say so he cut the chase and said " I know she is back and I have met her today but one thing I want to tell you guys that I remember my promise that I made to you guys and Ginny and I am not going back to those dark alleys of my past ever again." After hearing this all three of them let go of the breath that three of them holding for quite some time now. Three of them got up from their seats and rushed towards Aaron and then four of them hugged each other like the a team of cricketers hugging each other after victory. Three of them were relived after hearing Aaron's word but they did not dare to let their guards down when it comes to Rachel influence on Aaron.

When Hayley reached living room of Scott Mansion she saw Ginny and Nora sitting there looking tense but when they saw Hayley they forced a smile to appear on their faces but it was too late as Hayley already saw through their façade. "Why are you guys back just in a day from your honeymoon" Hayley asked Ginny while taking the seat opposite her. "Keith is needed here for some important deal that is why we need to head back" Ginny said this rehearsed line in one go, although Hayley didn't believe what Ginny said at first but then she remembered that there was talk in office about some international deal maybe finally the higher ups of that company finally came around so early return of Keith and Ginny made sense to Hayley now. Keith knew that his mother and Hayley or other people might ask them about their sudden return so he formulated this excuse.

Ginny, Hayley and Nora talked for a while when Hayley asked Ginny about her mother's whereabouts to which she got reply that her mother and Aunt Sarah was having tea in back garden. After getting answer of her question Hayley proceeds towards back garden. To reach back garden she had to pass by Keith's study and when she passed it she couldn't help but glance that way and gate of the study was slightly open and with that she could see that four of them standing hugging each other although this scene look heart-warming to some and give some other a very vivid idea. Hayley couldn't help but cough loudly so that these friends could get some sense of place and time. When four of them heard the voice of someone coughing out loud they all instinctively turned towards the source of the sound and saw Hayley standing on the Hallway coughing. When she saw them looking at her she just smiled at them and proceeded towards back garden.


Their first thought that did Hayley heard their conversation or if she heard then how much? But after seeing the sly smile on her face while going towards the garden they understood that she just saw them hugging each other. After a while four of them started laughing, it was Aaron who was the first one to laugh. But he stopped after a while when a thought crossed his mind, he needs to tell her everything about his past but after hearing about his past and knowing about Rachel's return will Hayley still accepts him? it was not just Aaron who thought about Hayley after seeing her there Caleb also had same thoughts but it should be Aaron's decision when to tell her about his past it was his story to tell, thought Caleb and shakes and tried to shake off the uneasy feeling he was feeling at pit of his stomach.
