Cross- Roads:- What to choose love or friendship

When Caleb lets go of Hayley, he could sense someone throwing daggers at his way and he knew where those daggers were coming from, Aaron. He choose to ignore it, then he called Keith and everyone else when they got know about Hayley finally woke up they all were there in half an hour. There was another round of bone crushing hugs for Hayley, this time even Tyler hugged her. She could sense how important she became for this bunch of people in this short span of time. It was not only they became integral part of her life she also became most integral part of their lives and she felt happy about it.

Keith asked Aaron about Hayley and he told him that she was fine for now but it will be good for her mind if she takes a vacation to unwind. Keith also thought that it was a great idea so when he and Aaron returned inside Hayley's room he announced "Guys, it had been long since we all went to a vacation together so how about we all go to island F for a vacation." First there was silence because going on a vacation was not a big deal but going on an unplanned vacation was not their forte anymore. They all have careers to uphold now, Hayley was first one to protest but her protest came to end when Keith said he already signed her paper for leave. Other didn't dare to protest because they knew Keith wouldn't hear any of it so they all took their leave and decide to make arrangements for their business so they can enjoy this impromptu trip planned by Keith. While Keith and Ginny leaving Hayley asked Keith if he called her mother and told her everything. Keith replied that he didn't as he knew that Hayley wouldn't want her mother to worry.

It was late at night and Hayley was still in hospital room, she was feeling bored. She wanted to go home but Aaron said she needs to stay in hospital at least for two days. Hayley was thinking what to do relieve her boredom, when Aaron entered her room. His shift ended and he wants to spend some time with her that was why he said to Keith that he should be the one to accompany Hayley tonight. Hayley was still thinking what to do when someone extended her new book of her favorite author right in front of her eyes. When she looked up to take a look at the person she saw Aaron standing there. She took book silently and started to read book but after some time her head started to hurt. Aaron who was by now sitting quietly on the sofa could see discomfort in Hayley's body language but he could also see her reluctance to let go of book, so he got up from his seat and took the book away from her hand. Hayley looked up with a frown on her face, she didn't look pleased by the loss of book in her hand. Aaron so wanted to ruffle her hair but he controlled himself because he knew that she won't like it. "you don't look at ease, why don't I read it for you, you just relax and hear it like you are hearing an audio book" Aaron said in his honey soaked voice. After hearing his voice she forgot everything and she did as he said. Aaron just took seat beside her and started to read the book where Hayley left off. Aaron got so consumed in the story that he forgot that he was reading it for Hayley to listen. It was only when he was on the last chapters and character of the novel going to have their happy endings he looked up to see reaction on Hayley's face but what he came across was sleeping Hayley. She was looking picture perfect, Aaron slowly got up and pulled up blanket and covered her and again he had an urge to plant a kiss on her forehead like he had when he brought Hayley home from Keith's engagement party in her feverish state but unless like last time he didn't held back and he planted a kiss on her forehead.
