Rune didn't like drinking, so while almost everyone else was drunk, he was still sober, and he had other things to do.

Tomorrow's main attackers will definitely be Deadpool and Wolverine. They have some resistance to Cassandra's abilities. Rune thought about it and realized that he himself had Occlumency. If those two couldn't handle Cassandra, he could step in. However, he had to be quick, otherwise Cassandra could break through Occlumency in three seconds.

Cassandra is comparable to Professor X, who can kill everyone in the world with the help of a brainwave amplification machine. Even though her abilities are slightly weaker than her brother's, Cassandra's superpowers are still terrifyingly strong.

Rune arrived outside the sanctuary and infused his will into a giant rock. Under the influence of magic, the tree gradually transformed into a ferocious creature. It was entirely gray, with a grotesque face and eyes that gleamed with ferocity. Its massive body was covered in sharp bone spurs, especially prominent on its shoulders and back. Its limbs were strong and powerful, with clearly defined muscles, and its fingers and toes were equipped with sharp claws.

It was Doomsday, the supervillain who had once killed Superman.

That wasn't all. Rune intensified the flow of magic, doing his utmost to strengthen the puppet's physical strength and power. Considering he would be facing Cytorak's darling head-on, Rune felt that no matter how much he strengthened the puppet, it was still somewhat fragile.

Soon, the puppet was fully enhanced. Rune sadly discovered that a stone's capacity to bear magic was quite limited. Even though he had done his best to enhance the Doomsday Puppet, it was still far from what he had hoped for.

There's no other way, so let's just make a few more. Since we can't compete on quality, let's compete on quantity.

Thinking this way, the way he used runes became crude. To put it more vividly, it went from "Master craftsmanship, ingenuity" to "One yuan for everything, good quality and cheap." Eight more Doomsday golems were born from the rocks and soil. Their skins had the same defensive runes as Bruce's, which was better than nothing.

And so, creatures with slender bodies, sharp spines on their backs, strong and powerful limbs, sharp claws, and long, thin tails with spikes were born. Their most distinctive features were their oval heads and retractable inner jaws.

These alien puppets, emerging from Rune's imagination, are about to become a nightmare for many.

"Alien?" A deep voice came from beside Rune. Rune turned his head and saw Wolverine.

He was still wearing his yellow and blue uniform, holding a bottle of liquor, and reeking of alcohol. Rune looked at Logan: "You guys saw this too?"

"Of course, it's a classic." Wolverine scratched his head. "I almost couldn't resist showing my claws in the movie theater back then."

"I thought someone like you wouldn't watch movies." Rune casually conjured up a few chairs. "Sit down."

Logan hesitated for a moment and then sat down. He wasn't familiar with the child in front of him, but along the way, he was willing to regard Rune as a reliable comrade-in-arms. When he was with Rune, Logan would always subconsciously think that he was still taking care of Little Rascal, but Rune was much more sensible than Little Rascal.

Seeing Logan sit down, unsure what to say, Rune started the conversation: "How does it feel to be a dad?"

Logan shook his head: "That didn't feel good."

He watched as Rune tried to shrink the puppets one by one, but the success rate was only 30% to 40%, and many puppets turned back to their original form.

"I don't feel like I'm her father. Her father is that strong Wolverine. I really wish I could be like him, at least he could stand up for someone when they need him and die a worthy death."

Rune stopped what he was doing. He had not yet fully understood and mastered the knowledge that Professor McGonagall had given him, so the success rate of shrinking the puppet was very low. Not to mention, he also had to be distracted by talking to Logan.

"I don't know what happened to you back then, Logan." Rune looked at Logan, "But I want to ask, Deadpool's universe is collapsing. His world should have been annihilated thousands of years later after losing another you, but the Time Bureau wants to destroy it directly."

"Of course not." Logan looked up at the sky and sighed.

"Countless worlds need you right now, need you and Deadpool to show up and save them. How can you feel like you're not needed by others?"

So he chose to kill, relentlessly hunting down the mastermind, and raising his glass again after everything had settled, just to forget them. But in his dreams, Logan still faces the X-Men's questioning, perhaps as a form of self-punishment.

"Are you going to disappoint countless versions of yourself, and countless friends and family members?"

Seeing Logan's sadness, Rune asked softly.

"Perhaps just a moment ago, in another world, Jean was preparing a birthday cake for Logan, and Li Qianhuan was helping to decorate the room, but the next moment, they were wiped out by the Time and Space Administration, simply to meet the KPIs of a member of the Time and Space Administration. Do you really want this to happen?"

After taking another big gulp, Wolverine stood up straight and smashed the bottle on the ground.

"Perhaps you are right, Rune." He looked at his claws, in which his face was reflected. In the reflection, the white hairs were turning back to black, and his aged body seemed to have been lubricated, his slightly bent spine straightening itself.

Rune could sense that something was changing within Logan; he was regaining his power. So he smiled.

He watched happily as the wolf revived, then softly said, "Welcome back, Wolverine."

"Yes, I'm sorry to have kept you waiting."
