It took me quite a long time to learn the skill. When I returned home, I decided to go to the blacksmith workshop to enhance this ‘small shield’ that had saved my life so many times. 

Using a mixture of crushed merman’s scale and femto stone, I refined the shield with a whetstone. The shield then emitted a pale, blue light before it disappeared. I appraised the shield again.

After having a decent meal, I felt sleepy. I cleaned myself and Ash with a wet towel, brushed my teeth and then I went to sleep.
