The Fresh Start in an RPG World

Talia felt warm, she was glad it was Saturday morning that is why she could go to sleep and wake up when the sun was out.

"Did you have a nice sleep."

Talia screeched and she jumped out of Axel's arms. "What the hell are you doing here?"

"I waited for you to fall asleep when I came in and I couldn't resist laying next to you."

"Wait how long have you been here for?"

"I was with you the whole night, you even drooled on me and snuggled closer in your sleep."

"No, I didn't."

"How would you know Talia, you were asleep."

"I just know because that doesn't sound like me, you are describing."

"Actually it is more than a hundred percent you. I am surprised that you still do all these things, after all these years."

"I thought you left. I swear I heard you left Axel and I even locked the door."

"I know, it takes such a hustle to get in here with the number of ridiculous locks on your door."

"Oh yes Axel, between you and me I am the ridiculous one."

"I know right."

"I am being sarcastic you asshole. I mean do you have a key because I didn't hear you get in."

"That's a secret I will never tell. Xoxoxo."

"Stop with your rubbish Axel, this isn't gossip girl and I am being serious."

Axel sighed, "Talia if I told you how I got in here what would you do with it?"

"I would make sure to fix it so you don't barge in here whenever you feel like it."

"My point as to why I won't tell you."

"You are getting on my nerves. Don't you have any work to do Axel?"

"I do, but I would rather be here with you."

"How flattering, for real you need to get on with your life."

"I am getting on with my life Talia."

"How are you doing that when you spend your whole time being a lowkey stalker."

"Well, you are my life, Talia."

"How sweet and flattering but you aren't mine, these feelings or whatever this is. It's just not right."

"So you are saying that there is something between us."

"No Axel that's not what I am saying. It's like you are picking out what you want to here and the rest is going out the window."

"Then make me understand Talia."

"How many times can I make you understand? That I feel nothing for you, that I want you gone."

"Why are you desperately trying to avoid me? Or why have you been hiding so hard for years?"

"It's…it's…"

"Yes, Talia go on."

"I am you, It's because I didn't want to see you ever again. And I knew you would come looking for me."

"How did you know I was coming to look for you?"

"Cause you said it plenty of times."

"No, I didn't Talia. Let me answer it better for you why you knew that I was coming. It is because you knew how much I loved you and I would never let you go without a fight, even after all these years you knew I would never give up on our love."


Talia's eyes widened, "No you are just putting words into my mouth, I never said that. It's because of your other tendencies."

"What other tendencies?"

"Your psychotic tendencies, where you can't bear to lose something. Nobody ever leaves the mighty Axel, you are the commander…"

"Then why didn't you pick Styles as a way out. I am sure he would have let you go and you and I both know it."

"Its because he was as twisted as you were, he kidnapped me and lied to me."

"He did all that but he was still better than me in your eyes."

"Where are you getting with this Axel?"

"You didn't want to hurt my feelings, Talia."

Talia gave out a sarcastic laugh, "This has nothing to do with your feelings Axel. This all had to do with my freedom. I couldn't chance it with anyone, not even Styles for that matter. I had to learn to be independent and survive by myself."

"Is that all?'

"Yes. No. Actually, I didn't want to be dependant on another man again! If I had to make it out, I had to be on my own."

"Why where you upset with me when I was with other girls?"

"Don't sugar coat it Axel. You mean when you were with other strippers! I mean I thought you actually cared about me back then. But no I was naïve and desperate. What else could I do but think that I was in love with you."

"That's a lie Talia and you know it."

"It's the truth Axel, I didn't want to become another Sophie in your eyes. Like I was some garbage that you could just dispose of. And I was clearly right, because at the end of the day that's what you did."

"I didn't think of you that way Talia that is why I am here after all these years. Still waiting for you."

"Well, you will be waiting for a long time Axel."

"Tell me what to do Talia and I will do it."

Talia could hear the desperation in his voice and it made her heart clench a bit but she couldn't allow herself to be moved, "There is nothing that you could Axel."

"Then I won't give up on us Talia. I just can't."

"Why can't you just find someone else Axel, someone who could love you for you."

"My heart belongs to you and it did a long time ago, I have no desire for anyone else."

"Stop it Axel and you should just leave and take those empty words along with you."

"One thing is for sure. They are just not empty words because I mean them."

"No, you are not capable of loving someone else besides yourself. It's just a matter of possession to you."

"It is not Talia, because if it was I would have taken you the same manner that I did when I first met you. Instead this time I want you to come to me, with your own free will."
