Therefore, the death of an ancient eminent monk is a joyful thing for those who have truly realized the Tao. When you see those disciples who see their master passing away, crying bitterly and very sad, you should know—or this eminent monk has no real enlightenment. passed away, or the disciple was not enlightened at all.

Of course, some disciples finally understood this truth, so they pretended to be calm and preached to outsiders after the death of the master-the master has attained the Tao, and the spirit of the master will last forever.

Pretending and pretending are all obsessions, and violating the unity of body, speech and mind is creating karma.

Hui Chi was clearly out of love, and suddenly said, "Brother, can we really go to the Pure Land?" He and Hui Yuan are not only from the same school, but also brothers, they can be called whatever they want, and there are not many rules.

Huiyuan proclaimed the Buddha's name, which was "Amitabha Buddha".He then looked at Huichi compassionately, and said softly, "Have you forgotten that faith is the first thing to do?"

Huiyuan smiled and said, "Then why do you need to be nervous and anxious?" After speaking, he said softly, "If there are good men and good women who hear about Amitabha Buddha and hold on to the name, if it is one day, if two days, if three days, if four days , if it's five days, if it's six days, if it's seven days, if it's one-hearted..."

He suddenly seemed to be reciting scriptures. Qinsi knew that everyone might not know, and explained, "Huiyuan recited the "Amitabha Sutra". He is the founder of the Pure Land School. "Contemplation of Infinite Life Sutra", "Amitabha Sutra" and "On Rebirth".

When Qinsi explained, Huiyuan continued to read: "When the person is about to die, Amitabha Buddha and all the saints will appear in front of him. When the person dies, if the mind is not upside down, he will be reborn in the land of Amitabha Buddha's ultimate bliss." Say "Amitabha Buddha" again, and slowly close your eyes.

Huiyuan's words may be said to be obscure and difficult to understand for ordinary people, even smack of superstition, but Shen Yue is well versed in Buddhism and understands it as soon as he hears it.

The "Amitabha Sutra" is almost consistent with the Daxueshan death theory.

When people are dying, all kinds of feelings are magnified seven times, so when they are dying, they believe in good and get good, and do evil even worse.Of course, it is also common for believers to turn to evil in one thought due to confusion and encountering evil deeds, and to go back to evil ways.For the world, the last thought is extremely important, and it is not an exaggeration to give blessings anyway, because it determines what path you will take after your rotation.

It's a pity that people in the world are obsessed with it. They would rather train thousands of times for the postgraduate entrance examination than to spend a little effort on the tempering of will.

The "Amitabha Sutra" clearly tells you that at the time of death, if you can hold on to the name of "Amitabha Buddha" and stay undisturbed, at the time of death, Amitabha Buddha will come to guide you to the Land of Ultimate Bliss.

Very superstitious?
In fact, both methods emphasize that will can work miracles.

How easy is it not to talk about it? !You are tossing and wandering in your dreams, and your heart can't help yourself. When you encounter even more confusion at the end of life, can you keep your mind undisturbed?
If you can really stay undisturbed in one mind, then in reality, body, speech and mind are all in one.

The difference between body, speech and mind creates karma, and the unity of body, speech and mind eliminates karma.

From the moment they open their eyes, most people in the world can't help their mouths, mouths, and minds, lie all day long, create divisions for their own sake, base their own pleasure on the pain of others, and want to be single-minded. , but it is difficult to reach the sky.

Therefore, the "Amitabha Sutra" is not wrong, but the "Amitabha Sutra" does not describe in detail the difficulty of being undisturbed.

Why?

Is it because Sakyamuni concealed it?In fact, this is not the case, because although people in the world are clamoring to face up to difficulties, most of them retreat when they see difficulties. If they know that cultivation is so difficult from the beginning, how many people have the perseverance to do it?
Therefore, when Sakyamuni preached the scriptures, he usually babbled a few words first-you have to believe that everything I said is true, but you can take your time.When you get rid of dust and dirt and your energy grows, you can gradually get in touch with difficult problems.

This is the same as teaching primary school students mathematics without teaching calculus at the beginning. If calculus is taught at the beginning, I am afraid that there are not many primary school students who are not afraid of mathematics.

Only those who are really wise can understand Sakyamuni's painstaking efforts, follow the precepts step by step, and then achieve great enlightenment by leaps and bounds.
