After saying that, the man flung open the door to the rented room and walked out.

San Shui asked in a low voice, "Wait a minute."

The man stopped, his hand hovering in mid-air as he prepared to close the door.

"Don't you need to be wary of me?"

The door closed lightly.

San Shui straightened his clothes, stared intently at the wall, seemingly lost in thought, and then suddenly smiled gently.

San Shui Lin Xin silently set out the tableware and served him a bowl of hot soup.

Another tenant is an office worker who is still working overtime at this hour, and not everyone likes to have dinner together in the courtyard with their neighbors.

"You're back. How was work today?" The mother-in-law broke the silence when she saw the two of them were silent.

Sanshui Linxin also lowered her head and silently ate her curry rice.

These chapters focus on the romance, and the end of the volume will explain some foreshadowing, although I'm not very confident about the final outcome.



