Chapter 37 010.5 The Eye Demon Spider

Chapter 37, Chapter 010: The Five-Eyed Demon Spider

The woman felt a tug on the spider silk in her hand.

She didn't stop him. The moment she let go, the man was pulled away by the spider silk, his swaying body like a falling snowflake. From beginning to end, the man had no consciousness.

"uncle!"

Megumi Amamiya felt a pang of pity.

The Five-Eyed Demon Spider swallowed its own silk, pressed its forepaws against its prey, and suddenly opened its pouch to swallow the unconscious person.

The unrolled skin and flesh fluttered and flew about, like wriggling aphids filling the gaps.

Soon, Nagashima Hiroya disappeared into the body of the Five-Eyed Demon Spider. Amidst the cracking sound of bones breaking, several protrusions appeared inside the spider, as if being pulverized and kneaded into its limbs.

The five blood-red spider eyes grew even redder, the bristles between the segments of the limbs stretched out, and the claws coiled on the steel interlocked, producing a clanging sound of metal striking metal.

Ling licked her lips, looking at the enormous object on the ceiling with interest. She beckoned with her finger, one hand supporting her waist. Her coat was on her body, but it couldn't hide her beautiful waist.

"hiss--"

The Five-Eyed Demon Spider seemed to understand the provocation, stretching its neck and letting out a hoarse roar from its insect cavity.

Eight spider legs coiled and twisted, using their springs to twist and deform the steel with a loud thud, causing the entire abandoned factory to sway and dust to billow down.

Ling raised her right arm, her fingers long and slender, moving from her little finger and ring finger to her thumb in sequence, slowly kneading them into a fist.

The brown pupils revealed an enlarged spider-like monster, whose bulging belly could be seen, as if it were being propelled forward by a thruster.

Ling throws a punch.

The movements were slow and leisurely, like a theatrical performer singing and gesturing. It wasn't actually slow, but visually, the lazy and carefree expression, somewhat resembling the cat at his feet, was precisely what he aimed for when the monster was airborne, striking it squarely in the face.

Even though two pairs of its eight legs had already extended, the fist struck the Five-Eyed Demon Spider's face from behind through the gap.

The moment they made contact, the crystalline red pupils shattered, and the massive body, propelled forward by inertia, quickly came to a stop in mid-air. Then, the deeply dented face severed the neck, plunged into the abdomen, and severely deformed the sternum.

The subsequent changes are no longer visible; the enormous, dark creature has already flown away.

"Bang—" The sound of a fist striking had barely left the room when the entire abandoned factory groaned and resonated, the rust and dust falling like tears of repentance, falling incessantly.

Eight spider legs, as supple as roots, swayed in the suddenly rising gust of wind, their irregular movements a result of high-speed flight carried by the air currents.

The rounded abdomen crashed into the high stack of scrap goods, scattering the coal-red bricks and overturning the dusty white cloth covering the black fabric; it struck the old crane arm, breaking it in mid-air, the steel base twisting half a turn by the enormous force, teetering like a twisted rope; the monster continued its momentum, flying like a piece of soft chewing gum, sticking to the farthest wall, shattering the entire wall along with it.

The stuck-together red bricks crashed down with a clattering sound, and the whole factory groaned incessantly.

Smoke and dust rose, obscuring the bloodstains beneath the red bricks.

"good."

The woman shook her hand and straightened her curly hair, which had been blown askew by the airflow.

Neither Bean nor Amamiya Megumi dared to speak; they seemed to hear each other swallowing.

The raging air currents, carrying smoke and dust, made it impossible to open one's eyes.

The factory trembled, its steel foundation twisted and sank into the ground, crushing the earth and humming loudly.

"So this is the hero of this generation..." The little girl's tone was filled with shock and admiration, "Even before he transformed..."

Douzi opened his mouth, but couldn't say a word.

It was so powerful it was suffocating, as if even breathing was a struggle.

But when the woman turned around, her face was beaming with a smile.

"Oh dear. There are two children left, this is going to be difficult."

The woman dusted off her clothes, her footsteps still clearly audible amidst the thunderous sound.

"He's a cute boy."

Ling's voice was sweet as she leaned closer and bent down to examine Douzi's face.

Megumi Amamiya frowned, her lips unconsciously pouting:

"Don't bully the beans."

She stretched out her delicate pink hand from the pile of ropes, beckoned, and blocked Ling and Douzi's view.

Ling didn't mind, chuckled, and turned to take out her phone.

After a busy signal, the call was connected.

"Ms. Fujiwara, we meet again. There has been a kidnapping case here, and the victims are two children. You can come and take over."

"Wait, why did you get involved in the kidnapping?"

The voice on the other end of the phone was clear and calm, which was reassuring.

"Oh dear, didn't I already say that?" Ling's expression was playful. "Just treat it as a regular kidnapping case. The aftermath is beyond your control."

Fujiwara Chizuru could hear the teasing in his tone, but his tone remained calm and steady as he said, "Okay, I understand. We'll leave immediately."

"The location is here..."

"By the way, there might be some strange-looking things at the scene. Tell your people not to touch them and just hand them over to the Special Investigation Team."

Fujiwara Chizuru was silent for a moment, then said, "I understand."

……

After hanging up the phone, Fujiwara was both annoyed and amused, and said, "You think I care?"

"Sir, what's the matter?"

Yan Wuxun peeked out and asked.

"No matter what it is, it has nothing to do with a prisoner who is about to serve fifteen days in jail, right?"

Fujiwara Chizuru raised an eyebrow.

Yan Wuxun simply shut up.

After saying that, he quickly left the office of the urban management brigade, in a hurry, and had already called the Metropolitan Police Department to dispatch officers on the way.

The city management team leader, who couldn't speak the language, opened the door with a gloomy expression and gestured for Yan Wuxun to move to the new room.

……

"Boom."

The sound of car doors closing echoed one after another.

Jin Ziyue and Amamiya Ichiro got off the bus one after the other.

"Mr. Amamiya, are you sure this is the place?"

the young man asked.

"If we're talking about places that are not far from home but are in a remote location and can provide a place to stay, the only one is this abandoned industrial park."

Amamiya Ichiro adjusted his glasses and muttered, "What was that sound just now?"

"You can try calling them first to see if they are willing to communicate."

"I've tried, but I can't get through."

Ichiro Amamiya shook his head.

"There's some noise over there, should we go check it out?"

The young man asked tentatively.

"Wait!" Ichiro Amamiya raised his hand, paused, and then said, "Be careful."

Jin Ziyue nodded: "Okay."

He pulled his hat brim down and followed behind Ichiro Amamiya.

The middle-aged man's face showed a range of emotions.

"Jin Jun, this is a personal matter, I'll go alone. Could you watch the car for me?"

"This..." The young man looked hesitant, but still said, "Please be careful."

“Hmm.” Ichiro Amamiya turned his head, opened the rusty iron gate, and walked in with a resolute expression.

He leaned forward and saw the wall with a hole in it.

Beneath the red and blue bricks, mutilated limbs, made of a soft, rubbery material, flow with bright red blood.

Amamiya Ichiro trembled, his mouth agape, utterly terrified.

The originally round abdominal cavity was large enough for the actor to kneel with his legs bent inside the suit, but it shrank back due to the impact, and an ambiguous yellowish-green liquid mixed with turbid blood flowed out.

The broken limbs were twisted into a ball, scratching at the dust and sand; as far as the eye could see, flesh and blood were mangled.
