Chapter 3579 The Two of Us

Ji-eun patted her face, feeling like her face hurt from laughing so much!

Wang Taika pinched Ji-eun's neck, feeling that Ji-eun had become quite funny. She really had gone from being a tsundere to a comedian.

The two of them were bickering in the supermarket, talking back and forth, not like two adults at all, but more like high school students who had just started dating.

"Wait a minute, let me catch my breath."

Ji-eun, holding onto the shopping cart, was almost in tears. Looking at the strawberries in the cart, she muttered softly, "Terrorist, you're spoiling me."

Wang Taika grinned: "You've spoiled me for so many years, and you're only telling me now? Alright, alright, stop laughing. If you keep laughing, people will think I'm bullying you."

"You're just bullying me." Ji-eun looked up, her eyes red, but a smile on her face: "Terrorist, you bully me every day."

"Then why are you laughing?"

"Because I'm happy," Ji-eun said matter-of-factly. "I'm happy even when you bully me, am I crazy?"

Wang Taika nodded seriously: "Yes, he is quite ill."

"It's hopeless, it's hopeless, it's hopeless anyway!" Ji-eun wanted to stomp her foot again, but as soon as she lifted her foot, she hissed and frowned.

Wang Taika's smile faltered for a moment: "What's wrong?"

"It's okay." Ji-eun shook her head, but her foot landed noticeably lighter.

Wang Taika looked down at her high heels, stilettos, at least eight centimeters high. She had been shopping in the supermarket for almost an hour.

Actually, we didn't buy much; we were just busy joking around.

It's no wonder that Ji-eun was so thoughtful; she carefully selected these high heels, never wearing them normally, just waiting for this moment to use them to lure terrorists.

But since they are new shoes, and the leather material is quite stiff due to the design, they rub against my feet a bit when I wear them.

"Does your foot hurt?" Wang Taika asked.

"It's alright," Ji-eun said stubbornly.

Wang Taika didn't say anything, he just looked at her.

Feeling guilty under his gaze, Ji-eun muttered softly, "Just a little bit."

"How much is one point?" Wang Taika asked.

"Well, maybe, perhaps, it might hurt a little bit." Ji-eun's voice grew softer and softer as she spoke.

Wang Taika sighed and pushed the shopping cart forward: "Let's go, let's check out."

"But it seems like we haven't bought anything yet!" Ji-eun followed behind Wang Tai-ka, looking at his broad back, feeling a warmth in her heart. Although he didn't say anything caring, she knew he wanted to finish early so she could rest.

If we speed up the shopping process, we've already achieved our goal of going to the supermarket, so what we eat later doesn't really matter.

Yoo In-na, go hungry.

When they reached the cashier, Wang Taika carried all the items up there.

When it was time to pay, the cashier was a young girl. She glanced at Ji-eun several times, seemingly wanting to say something but then hesitated. Ji-eun got a little nervous and hid behind Wang Taika.

The cashier still didn't recognize them, but just smiled and said, "You two are a perfect match."

Ji-eun blushed instantly and lowered her head without saying a word.

Wang Taika nodded generously: "Thank you! Oh dear, I should have bought more. I just don't know if improving performance like this will give you a raise."

The cashier smiled: "They are indeed a good match."

After paying the bill, I carried my things.

Ji-eun wanted to help, but Wang Taika glared at her, so she had no choice but to obediently follow behind.

When they reached a less crowded area, Ji-eun whispered, "You're about to get all smug, aren't you? Oh my, you actually look quite compatible with me."

Wang Taika, carrying shopping bags, walked beside Ji-eun and asked, "What do you mean?" "I smell nice, and you smell bad," Ji-eun laughed, paused for a moment, and then quickened her pace.

Wang Taika watched her retreating figure, her ponytail swaying, and suddenly spoke: "Jie-eun-chan."

"Hmm?" Ji-eun turned around.

"Walk slowly, I can tell your foot is bothering you," Wang Taika said.

Ji-eun paused for a moment, then looked down at her high heels and pursed her lips: "It's okay."

"Stubborn." Wang Taika walked over, switched the shopping bag to one hand, and offered her the other: "Hold on."

Ji-eun looked at my outstretched hand, then at his face, and then slowly placed her hand on his.

The terrorist's hand was still warm and his grip was firm.

Ji-eun pursed her lips: "Actually, I didn't want to ruin the atmosphere. I'm in a really good mood today."

Wang Taika nodded: "MeToo."

"What do you mean?"

"Don't you understand English? Me neither."

Ji-eun looked shocked: "Wow, that English pronunciation is amazing."

"Ji-eun-chan, your attack power has increased recently."

"Ha ha!"

The two walked like this, with Ji-eun's hand in Wang Taika's palm, like a well-behaved little bird.

After walking a few steps, Ji-eun suddenly said, "Terrorist."

Wang Taika turned to look at her: "What?"

"When I came back, I was actually worried. I thought, after all, we haven't seen each other for so long, maybe we've become strangers. Even if it's just a little bit, I'm afraid. You know, I'm not that much of a believer in love. But... this is good, nothing has changed. Looks like, terrorist, I'm really going to be stuck with you for life."

This was what Ji-eun was most worried about. Relationships, after all, can never withstand the test of time and distance. Even vows of eternal love can be shattered by sudden storms.

Fortunately, this guy is as bad as ever.

Wang Taika gripped Ji-eun's hand tightly: "Anyway, I'm not a good person either, so don't worry about me clinging to you."

“That’s true.” Ji-eun smiled. “The two of us are perfect.”

When I left the supermarket, it was already dark outside, the streetlights were on, and there were far fewer people on the street.

Ji-eun walked beside him, her high heels clicking crisply on the ground. After a few steps, she suddenly noticed that Wang Taika had stopped.

"What's wrong?" Ji-eun asked.

Wang Taika looked around, his gaze landing on a hotel across the street, and said, "Let's go, let's rest over there for a while."

Ji-eun followed Wang Taika's gaze and her face flushed instantly: "Terrorist! What...what are you going to do? No, at home, Inna unnie is here, but I have plenty of houses in Seoul. No, I mean, aren't you in a bit of a hurry!"

Looking at her expression, Wang Taika couldn't help but laugh: "What are you thinking? I just want you to rest your feet and sit for a while. What did you think I was going to do?"

"Mainly, your character and your actions are really hard to ignore." Ji-eun's face turned even redder, and she lowered her head.

Wang Taika picked up the shopping bag and walked forward: "Let's go, don't just stand there like an idiot."

The hotel lobby was quiet with soft lighting. Wang Taika booked a room for an hour, took the room key, and led Ji-eun upstairs.

The room wasn't big, but it was very clean, with a soft, large bed and a sofa.

To be honest, it seems a bit of a waste not to do something in this situation.

Haha, just kidding, we're all upright gentlemen! (End of Chapter)
