Reboot the heyday

Cough cough, hello, can you hear me?
Hello everyone, this is Taika. It's been a long time, everyone. I've missed you all.

However, because I haven't been doing very well these past two years, I haven't dared to show my face. But one can't expect the story to stop here forever, never moving forward.

I haven't been in good shape these past two years, and I've really been down. Many of my longtime readers have left. I won't go into the ups and downs; that's another story in the future, or perhaps just a joke to share after a few drinks.

However, we've made it through the difficulties, and recently, updates for both "Reboot" and "General Introduction" have resumed. But to be honest, I've been writing urban fiction for too long, and I'm losing some of my passion for it.

Actually, I've had a dream for a long time: I wanted to write a historical text. To be precise, a series of historical texts.

I even thought of a name when I was in high school: Hegemony of the World.

It's a bit cringey, both now and in the past, but I just like this name.

I've even planned that once I'm skilled enough, I'll write a series, one for each dynasty, with titles like "Dominating the World: Qin," "Dominating the World: Han," "Dominating the World: Tang," and so on.

But I've always felt that I'm not ready yet; I need to mature and accumulate experience, and so I've indefinitely postponed it. I've been staying in my comfort zone.

Until recently, I suddenly realized that this approach only resulted in indefinite delays and did nothing to help. The most important thing in doing something is not preparation, but simply doing it.

At the very beginning of the restart, I wrote that life is not like cooking; you can't wait until all the ingredients are ready before you start cooking.

Look, it took me almost ten years to understand such a simple truth after writing it down. So, I immediately started writing and finished the beginning in one night. The title is "Domination of the World: Yuan"!
Of course, he won't become a Mongol; the protagonist will usurp the Mongol throne and establish his own dynasty. But in terms of name, the Yuan Dynasty is actually quite good, so we'll stick with that.

The reason for choosing this historical period is simple. I actually wanted to start writing from the Song Dynasty, but I felt that when writing historical fiction, it's essential to first get a feel for it. This historical period is relatively easier to write about, that's all.

After finishing the book, it was initially rejected upon submission. But I didn't give up. I changed the name, kept everything else unchanged, and submitted it again to a different editor. This time, it was accepted.
It's now called "Ba Yuan"!
I didn't mention it at first because I wasn't sure if I could continue writing. Now I've written dozens of chapters and feel like I'm getting into the swing of things, so I'm giving it a shout-out and asking everyone to take a look.

I am confident that this book can withstand everyone's scrutiny.

In short, it's about a modern person who travels back to ancient times, meets Temujin, witnesses the magnificent history, and then usurps the fruits of victory from the Mongol Yuan dynasty.

That sounds a bit boring, but it's actually quite interesting to look at.

Finally, to summarize this book, I will try my best to finish it this year, but of course, not hastily. I will write nearly a million more words to give it a proper ending. Actually, the story is all in my head, but for the past two years I've really been suffering from "YuYu syndrome," and I don't want to write anything.

As for restarting, my brothers and sisters, this story is never going to end, I'm going to haunt you for the rest of my life!

In short, please give my new book, *The Overlord's Origin*, a try! (End of Chapter)
