Chapter 79 Remarks on the launch
This is my first time publishing a product, and I'm very nervous.

Attentive readers may have noticed that the number of updates has been increasing day by day over the past two days.

Yesterday it was 6,000 words, and today the two chapters have reached 8,000 words.

But all of this was done through a lot of hard work, mainly to thank the readers who have given me tips and support.

Thank you so much.

I get so excited every time I see someone give me a tip!
This is the first time so many people have appreciated my writing; it's so heartwarming!
Thank you all again!

Let's talk about the initial motivation for writing this book...

It's quite awkward.

It all started before the Lunar New Year when I wasn't feeling well and went to the hospital for a checkup, and wow... I have a lifelong illness...

The person was completely stunned!

The doctor recommended hospitalization, but I delayed for a long time before finally calling home.

At that time, I felt incredibly incompetent. I had been struggling in society for over a decade, achieving nothing and having no savings...

Moreover, thinking that he was still young, he didn't even pay for medical insurance in order to have more money to spend each month.

Damn! Looking back now, I was so stupid.

In the end, I paid for all my hospital stays out of pocket, which cost a total of over 8,000 yuan... which is very close to the number of people I have saved up...

If I had medical insurance, this hospitalization would have only cost a little over two thousand yuan. Sigh!

My dad even had to borrow the hospital deposit from someone else...

When I heard my dad talking about raising money on the phone, I really wanted to cry.

Blame yourself for being incompetent, blame yourself for being useless!
The medical expenses that were subsequently paid were covered by Alipay's Huabei service, and I'm still paying them back.

Then, in order to earn more money each month, I thought of writing novels again.

However, I had failed to get into two companies before. Although I was confident that I could get a contract, if I could only get a contract, I would only get a little over a thousand yuan in subsidies each month, and that would be gone in three months.

At the time, I happened to see others saying that this subject matter was popular, so I thought I'd check the charts and see if I could write one myself.
Then I scanned the list...

Good guy!
I'm completely bewildered by all the similar world backgrounds and settings!

Is it really true that they're just changing the skin without completely changing it?
My last shred of dignity tells me that I cannot imitate them; I must write about elements they lack!

After browsing through a few books, I found that most of them had mysterious world settings, and I didn't see any with science fiction elements...

Then, without hesitation, I wrote a science fiction-style background and submitted it to the editor...

The manuscript was approved in three hours!
I thought to myself: That's it, I'll get at least three months' worth of subsidies! Enough to buy three months' worth of medicine!
Then I just wrote whatever came to mind. At the time, I never thought that this book would have such a decent result, so there are a lot of bugs and such. I didn't care about the character settings either. I just wrote whatever came to mind.

After that, I was placed on the first recommendation spot, but I was overwhelmed by two veteran authors at level 5 that day. I thought to myself: Sure enough, this book is going to repeat the same mistake!
To my surprise... I overtook them the next day... and by a huge margin! That's when I finally panicked...

Holy crap, I'm so done with this... My premise isn't even complete, how am I supposed to write this?
Then, day by day, I started filling in the background information, day by day, I started patching up the previous chapters, and day by day, I climbed to the top of the recommended list...

Hahaha, it's funny to think about it. I didn't panic when my grades were bad, but I panicked when they improved.

Then, naturally, the first recommended spot advanced, then the second... and again first... the third... still first... and now the fourth... still first.

However, it was to no avail. Next Saturday, there was no hope for Sanjiang.

Just today, my editor asked me if it was going to be released.
I thought to myself: there's no hope of getting into Sanjiang anymore, so what am I waiting for?

In a moment of impulsiveness... I said: Let's go!

And then this rambling nonsense came about...

Okay, let's talk about how many updates tomorrow...

Currently... there will be two updates... and the word count will definitely not be as high as today's.

However, readers who have compared the number of words updated will surely find that, in fact, since the start of the new book period, I have been updating more words every day than most authors at the same time.

Sometimes when I'm in good form, I can make five, six, or even seven thousand!
Both have happened.

However, I also have a job with a 12-hour workday. I can only start writing after I finish get off work at 10 p.m. every day. It takes me four hours to finish a chapter, and sometimes I'm not satisfied with what I finish, so I have to delete it and rewrite it!
If it doesn't work the first time, try the second time; if it doesn't work the second time, try the third time!

There was a previous chapter that I originally wanted to write in the style of the common people, depicting a world where the strong prey on the weak. However, after many revisions, more than 4,000 words were wasted, and it ended up being written in the current style.

I know that most readers like protagonists who are ruthless and decisive, and who think only of themselves.

But, with protagonists starting with hundreds of thousands of views, do they really need me?

In this book, Li Zheng is portrayed as a nobody, an ordinary citizen.

He also likes to peek at other people's screens when he's on the water zone channel, and he likes to joke around with others, just like a silly netizen.

He's just a silly guy, an ordinary person.

Even with cheat codes, you're still just an ordinary person.

I can only write about an ordinary person...

After all, I'm just an ordinary person...

The first VIP chapter will be updated after noon tomorrow. I only hope that readers who are able can help by placing a first-day subscription.

As for students who lack the ability, their studies should be their priority!

……

A follow-up comment from several months later: Damn it, I clearly said I was going to write about an ordinary person, but I accidentally made Li Zheng invincible, damn it!
