Chapter 33 The Gu Family, the Xu Family

The sun was shining brightly, the weather was clear, and a gentle breeze lifted Yang Nianqing's skirt. She stretched lightly; she hadn't gone to her stall today, and Fan Ruichen also had things to take care of. She planned to buy a cell phone; after all, her departure from the Yang family wasn't far off.

Yang Nianqing quickly turned left; this was the women's clothing section, where there were even more people.

Wang Xiaolan, who had fled after being harassed by her ex-boyfriend who had tricked her into marriage, bumped into Yang Nianqing as she turned a corner. She instinctively steadied the unsteady Yang Nianqing, only then realizing that she was Fan Ruichen's master girlfriend. "Yang Nianqing? What's wrong?"

Yang Nianqing quickly turned around, grabbed Wang Xiaolan's hand, and said, "Help me stop the man chasing after us. Don't tell him where I am, and don't tell him you know me. I'm leaving now! Thank you!"

"Oh, oh." Wang Xiaolan responded blankly after being scolded by Yang Nianqing, and watched Yang Nianqing run away.

Wang Xiaolan mustered her courage, stretched her limbs, aimed at the person chasing her around the corner, and jumped. The two collided, and she immediately felt a piercing pain in her chest. "I'm sorry!" Gu Yuanhong apologized and then tried to continue pursuing Yang Nianqing.

Wang Xiaolan found it unbelievable. How could someone be like this? He hit someone, apologized, and thought he could just walk away? It wasn't that easy, especially since Yang Nianqing had asked her to stop him. She grabbed the hem of his suit jacket. "You can't leave! You have to take me to the hospital!"

Gu Yuanhong was speechless. He didn't have time to argue with her. He took out his wallet, pulled out a wad of cash, and tried to take it from Wang Xiaolan. "Miss, I really have something to do and don't have time to take you to the hospital. Here's the money, can you go to the hospital yourself?"

Seeing her cousin being pestered by Wang Xiaolan, Xu Anyu shook her head helplessly. "Brother Hong, let's go to the hospital first. We can't catch up with her now anyway. Let's go back and have someone investigate her background."

Gu Yuanhong could only nod and reluctantly agree.
