Harry Potter and the Great Old Ones

Chapter 103 Economic Mind

Chapter 103 Economic Mind
“Here you go, Tierra!” Harry shoved two neatly wrapped wooden boxes into Tierra’s hands.

Tiera could only blankly accept the wooden box.

“Harry…you really don’t have to do this…” Even through the wooden box, Tierra could feel the immense magic power of the two magical materials in her hands.

The phoenix, needless to say, is an extremely powerful magical creature, capable of fighting basilisks and devouring death curses. Its tail feathers are the main ingredient in wands and many potions.

Although the Giggs-Magnus pharmacy only had one hanging outside, and it was incredibly expensive—

It would take sixty-seven Galleons.

But this one is enough for Tiera to use; at least she can complete the initial stages of the "Life Reconstruction" magical ritual.

Alchemy follows the principle of equivalent exchange, which means that life cannot be created out of thin air, and new life must come from old life.

However, there is one exception: highly reactive magical materials can be used.

For example, the Philosopher's Stone, or a large quantity of the elixir of immortality.

For example, any part of the phoenix's body.

Of course, tears and the flames from the phoenix's rebirth have the best effects.

Feathers, bones, and blood are next.

The tail fur of cats and leopards is another powerful magical material.

These cats and leopards are extremely powerful magical creatures with intelligence similar to that of humans. They are native to Appalachian and now mainly live in the Americas. They can walk upright like humans, run faster than arrows, and have a pair of golden eyes with the ability to hypnotize and legatee.

The most valuable part of a cat or leopard is its optic nerve, followed by its tail fur—both are excellent materials for making wands.

Afterwards, Tierra, Harry, and the other two members of the trio who had lost points browsed around the potions shop for a while. When Tierra came out, in addition to the two wooden boxes containing leopard cat tail hair and phoenix tail feathers, there were also three large bags of various herbs.

Fresh white bamboo, mandrake roots, dried human-faced frog, centipede fangs, wolf spider silk, pegasus mane, venomous horn of a venomous beast—

They all came from Harry. Harry bought every potion and herb that Tyra picked up and then put down, packed them up, and gave them to Tyra.

When it was time to pay the bill, Tyella looked up at Harry in shock.

Tiera must be upset because I doubted him; these things should cheer him up!

Harry looked at Tyella with anticipation.

"Thank you, Harry! Thank you!" Tyella could only manage a big, bright smile.

[Great! Tierra smiled!]

Tierra "heard" Harry saying this in his head again.

Well then, I've become Bao Si, having spent a fortune to buy a smile.

Harry can't be like this. He's so naive, what if he gets scammed in the future?

After all, although Harry Potter is touted as "children's literature," it gets darker and darker as you go on.

I never realized it when I watched movies or read novels before.

Why is Harry so naive and innocent these days?

Tiera thought with a hint of helplessness, while clutching the large and small bags of medicinal herbs tightly in both hands.

That won't do. He should let me manage his money, otherwise he might get scammed...

Something's not right! Tiera felt a jolt of alarm.

I got greedy again.

Tiera took a deep breath and then slowly exhaled.

After leaving Giggsmagus Pharmacy, they strolled around the streets. Tyella bought a color-changing scarf from Madam Malkin's Robes Shop and gave it to Harry, who happily wrapped it around his neck immediately.

But Harry quickly took off the scarf and stuffed it into his pocket.

Because it is still midsummer in August.

When they passed Florin's Ice Cream Shop, Harry and his companion each bought an ice cream.

As the hour drew to a close, Hermione and Ron went to Flourish and Blotts, while Harry and Tyrell returned to Gringotts.

Having just bought phoenix tail feathers, cat and leopard tail hairs, and a whole bunch of other medicines at Giggsmagus's Potions Shop, Harry didn't have many Galleons left in his pocket, making it impossible for him to afford Gilderoy Lockhart's nine books.

So Harry had no choice but to go back to his vault and grab two large bags of Galleons.

Harry even tried to stuff a handful into Tierra's pocket, but Tierra refused with righteous indignation.

Please do not corrupt my filthy soul with your sinful gold coins.

When Harry saw that Tierra resolutely refused to accept it, he had no choice but to give up.

They arrived at Flourish and Blotts a few minutes later than expected.

When they arrived at the bookstore, they found a large crowd gathered outside, all wanting to get in. A large banner was displayed upstairs:

Gilderoy Lockhart will be signing and selling his autobiography, "The Magician Me," today from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
"We can see him in person!" Hermione squealed with delight when she saw Harry and Tyrell arrive. "I mean, he wrote almost all the books on the list!"

The crowd seemed to consist mostly of witches of Mrs. Weasley's age. A weary-looking wizard stood in the doorway and said, "Ladies, quiet...don't crowd...be careful of the books..."

Harry, along with Tyella, Ron, and Hermione, squeezed through the crowd.

The winding line stretched from the entrance all the way to the back of the bookstore, where Gidlow Lohart was signing books.

As they passed the pile of books, Hermione had Harry, Ron, and Tyella each grab a few of Gilderoy Lockhart's works.

Hermione had "I Am Magic" and the best-selling "Break Up with the Ghost".

Harry picked up "Holiday with a She-Devil", "Travel with Ghouls", and "I'm a Magical Girl".

Ron's works include "Wandering with Werewolves" and "Sailing with Vampires".

Since Tyella had already packed all the medicinal herbs he bought into his suitcase on the way here, Hermione also handed him two books—

"Me Who Has Magic" and...

Me, the One with Magic.

“Hermione, I don’t need it anymore. I’ve already bought the textbooks for this semester and sent them back to school via Owlpost,” Tierra said, putting down the book in her hand.

Although he didn't actually buy it, and he didn't intend to buy it—

Anyway, Gilderoy Lockhart's Defense Against the Dark Arts is the same whether you have a book or not.

Wouldn't it be better for him to buy something else with that money?

"Are you stupid! Did you see that long line of witches?" Hermione yelled at Tyella in a bit of a panic. "Right now, a book only costs fifteen Galleons, but once we squeeze in and get Gilderoy's signature, we can sell it to the witches standing outside for at least thirty Galleons!"

Tiera: ? ? ?
Aren't you extremely obsessed with Gilderoy Lockhart? Where did you get such a sharp business mind?
Hermione grabbed two more books from the bookshelf, "Walking with Ghouls" and "Giddy Lohart Teaches You How to Get Rid of Household Pests," and tucked them under her arm.

“If Gilderoy Lohart could write some love confessions, that book would sell for at least fifty Galleons!” Hermione’s eyes burned, like a warlike bullfighter.

Thank you to Taishi Corn Silk for the 200-point reward.
Thank you Korsi for the 100-point reward.
There will also be a short side story at the end of Volume 1.

Deeply commemorate the 127th anniversary of Chairman Mao's birth.
