Chapter 137 Revolution
"No! I'm not reconciled!" Dobby roared, but then his ears drooped. "But what can I do? I'm just a house-elf..."

“You can join us,” Tierra said, extending her hand to Dobby.

"Join...you?" Dobby asked, puzzled.

"Whoosh—" Tiera whistled.

"Boom—" A huge splash erupted from the lake behind Dobby, and a massive, rough snake head suddenly emerged from the water—

"What, what, what is this?" Dobby was startled.

“Don’t be afraid, Dobby.” Tierra grabbed Dobby, who was trying to teleport, and then, in Dobby’s terrified eyes—

Slytherin gently lowered her head.

Above his two enormous, lantern-like eyes, each was covered by a large, translucent, pale black glass dome.

The two glass domes were connected by a black leather strap, like a pair of dark swimming goggles on the head of a Slytherin snake.

"Let me introduce you, this is Salazar Slytherin, the basilisk from the Chamber of Secrets at Hogwarts." Tyella released Dobby's arm.

"Snake, snake, basilisk?" Dobby's voice was still filled with terror.

“But please don’t be afraid,” Tiera said. “Salazar Slytherin was only framed by villains, which is why he was forced to become this basilisk. But after my treatment… although he is not fully recovered, he has become much gentler and will no longer wantonly destroy or kill on instinct.”

Tierra then gave Dobby a nudge from behind.

"You can touch him."

Slytherin gently lowered his snake head.

Dobby reached out his hand, trembling, toward the Slytherin snake's head.

His thin, bony hand carefully touched the wet, slippery scales on Slytherin's nose, then quickly withdrew it.

"It's true! It's true!" Dobby excitedly patted it again. "He actually... he didn't attack me!"

"Thank God! Harry Potter, Harry Potter is safe!" Dobby jumped up excitedly and spun around 720 degrees.

"Harry Potter has always been safe."

"So Mr. Tierra isn't a dark wizard?" Dobby looked at Tierra excitedly.

“No, I am,” Tiera said calmly.

Dobby warily dodged to the side.

“But who says dark wizards are necessarily evil?” Tierra retorted. “Have you ever seen me do anything bad?”

“You…” Dobby racked his brains to remember, to remember, and then to remember again—

“No,” Dobby replied, seemingly lessening his wariness of Tiera a little.

“But that doesn’t mean I won’t do it in the future,” Tierra added.

Dobby tensed up again.

"Don't be nervous," Tierra said with a smile. "Dobby, tell me, what am I supposed to do?"

"You...you want to release your house-elves?" Dobby asked hesitantly.

"How do I free my house-elves?" Tierra asked again.

“This…this…Dobby doesn’t know.” “I want a revolution,” Tierra said resolutely.

“What is revolution?” Dobby asked.

"Revolution is not a dinner party, not writing an essay, not painting or embroidering. It cannot be so elegant, so unhurried, so refined, so gentle, kind, respectful, frugal and modest."

"A revolution is an insurrection, an act of violence by which one class overthrows another."

"How do we revolt? How do we overthrow another class?" Tierra asked again.

"Dobby...Dobby doesn't know either."

“Power,” Tiera said. “I need power, and you need power too.”

"Then tell me, Dobby, how do I, or we, obtain power? How do we obtain power that surpasses that of ordinary people, power that can crush the entire wizarding world?"

“Dark magic?” Dobby replied, “But dark magic is… it’s all evil…”

“No, Dobby, no, dark magic, or any other kind of magic, is never good or bad. They are simply powers. Dark magic can be used to cook, and the magic used for cooking can also be used to kill,” Tiera said. “Their goodness or badness depends solely on their user—”

"Some people use dark magic to oppress the masses and ride roughshod over them, like Voldemort. So even if he were alive, he would be as good as dead."

“But there are some people,” Tiera said, staring at Dobby, “who learn dark magic so that the working class can live a better life, so that house-elves can live freely, with dignity and status, far from oppression and slavery.”

"So many comparisons, which type of person do you think I am?" Tierra asked again.

"You are the second type... You are to liberate all the house-elves!" Dobby replied excitedly. "I understand! Mr. Tierra is the second type. Mr. Tierra learned dark magic to liberate the house-elves!"

“Hmm…yes,” Tierra said. “Honestly, if it weren’t for the need to liberate house-elves, why would I study dark magic? It’s so tiring and difficult. Who wouldn’t want to just graduate from Hogwarts and find a job where they can just coast along?”

“Sir, you are truly, truly amazing!” Dobby exclaimed excitedly.

“But why did you release the house-elf?” Dobby asked. “It’s as if, as if it were your own business… No wizard has ever treated a house-elf like this before.”

“Because… standing before me isn’t just you, Dobby, no, not just you alone, but an entire race, an enslaved race, a race groaning in humiliation. Looking at you is like seeing my future self.” Tiera adopted a sorrowful expression. “How different do you think there is between wizards and house-elves?”

"Very...big?" Dobby asked cautiously.

“No, there is no difference between wizards and house-elves,” Tierra said. “At least, in Voldemort’s eyes, house-elves are no different from other wizards. We are all livestock to be slaughtered, we are all slaves to be enslaved by him.”

“So I will liberate you, I will liberate the house-elves as I liberate myself,” Tierra said. “Only when we unite, only when wizards and house-elves unite, can we overthrow Voldemort, can we overthrow the evil wizard who is oppressing us.”

"The... the mysterious man, the mysterious man will return?" Dobby asked again in terror. "Sir, how... how do you know?"

“Yes, he will come back,” Tierra said. “I am a prophet, as you’ve probably heard. I foresaw Voldemort’s return. I…I saw it…”

“Voldemort will come back,” Tyrell said, pulling Dobby along. “I saw it. Voldemort will come back. He will rise from the smoke and the flames. He will kill us. He will kill us all. No one will be spared.”

Seeing Dobby's deathly pale face, Tiera felt it was about time and asked:
"So, tell me your answer, will you join me? Will you join the great revolutionary ranks? Will you follow me to liberate house-elves? Will you join me to save the wizarding world? Even if our souls are tainted by dark magic, even if we fall into the abyss of evil, even if we are scorned by the world."

Tiera stretched out her hand, and strands of golden silk climbed up Tiera's arm, igniting a cluster of golden flames on Tiera's palm as she extended it toward Dobi.

"Would you be willing to join me... in changing this world?"

Hesitation, fear, and doubt flashed in Dobby's eyes, but in the end, he resolutely reached out his hand, passed through the golden flames, and grasped Tiera's hand.

"I am willing."
