Harry Potter and the Great Old Ones

Chapter 185 The Monster Book of Monsters

Chapter 185 The Monster Book of Monsters
Tierra was dragged by Harry to the Leaky Cauldron.

Throughout the journey, Harry seemed to have opened a floodgate of words, chattering incessantly in Tyella's ear.

Harry's summer vacation was incredibly boring, but he always managed to find topics to talk about with Tyrell.

Tyella and Harry encountered Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley at the Leaky Cauldron.

With less than two weeks until the start of the school year, Hermione and Ron both arrived at the Leaky Cauldron early after hearing about Harry blowing up his aunt into a balloon.

"Tierra!" Hermione ran over happily when she saw Tierra and Harry enter the Leaky Cauldron side by side.

“Long time no see, Hermione; long time no see, Ron,” Tyella greeted with a smile.

Ron looked incredibly strange, dressed in a distinctly Egyptian outfit, while Hermione's skin was tanned brown.

"Hey, Tyella!" Ron nudged Tyella in the ribs with his elbow and chuckled. "Have you heard? Harry's... his aunt..."

“There’s nothing funny about this, Ron,” Hermione interrupted sharply. “Frankly, I find it strange that Harry wasn’t expelled.”

“Me too,” Harry admitted. “I forgot about the expulsion; I thought I was going to be arrested.” Harry looked at Ron. “Does Mr. Weasley know why Fudge let me go?”

“Most likely because of you, isn’t it?” Ron shrugged, but still chuckled. “The famous Harry Potter and stuff. If I had blown up my aunt’s reputation, the Ministry of Magic would have been furious. But first they’d have to dig me out, because my mom would kill me first.”

“By the way, Tyella,” Ron suddenly asked, “do you know why? I heard from my father that Minister for Magic Fudge has extended an olive branch to your adoptive father. Could Lockhart know something about this?”

“It’s Mr. Lockhart,” Hermione corrected. “Show some respect to your former Defense Against the Dark Arts professor; he’s a hero of the wizarding world!”

“Okay… Mr. Lockhart.” Ron pursed his lips.

“Because of Sirius Black,” Tyella said, “the Ministry of Magic is a little nervous.”

“That escaped convict?” Hermione asked. “Who is he? Even the news in my Muggle world is reporting on his escape.”

“Rumor has it that he is Voldemort’s loyal servant,” Tierra said, glancing at Harry. “His escape this time was to kill Harry and restore Voldemort’s power.”

Then Tyella noticed that Harry clenched his fist nervously—

Tierra concealed the fact that Sirius was Harry's godfather, precisely so that the little troublemaker would avoid Sirius, allowing Tierra to act as a middleman and profit from the difference.

For example, he could sell Harry's situation to Sirius Black, make a few prophecies, and then sell Sirius Black's information to Harry.

“Rumors? You never say things like that with such uncertainty.” Hermione raised an eyebrow. “So, the rumors are false?”

Tierra: ...

it seems to be like this.

As researchers, aside from telling interesting lies, we either don't say anything about things that are definitely wrong, or we add words like "maybe," "perhaps," or "I guess" before we say anything.

This ensures the accuracy of one's word choice and increases the credibility of one's lies.

It was unexpected that the little witch Hermione was so perceptive as to notice Tyella's habit.

“Because my father said…” Tyella said mysteriously, “According to my father, Dumbledore believed that there were problems with the trial of Sirius Black.”

"Is there a problem? What problem?" Hermione asked.

“I don’t know,” Tierra said, shrugging. “My father said he didn’t know either.”

“Enough of that, look,” Ron said, pulling a long, thin box from his bag and opening it. “A brand new wand, fourteen inches long, wicker, with a unicorn tail hair on it. And Hermione and I have bought all the books too—”

As he spoke, he pointed to a large backpack under his chair.

“Great!” Harry said. “How about this, we’ll take Tierra to buy books first, and then we’ll go to the Magical Zoo.” “Okay.”

"no problem."

Ron and Hermione agreed.

Knowing that Tierra liked potions, Harry first took her to the pharmacy to replenish the various ingredients for potions, and even went out of his way to buy her a lot of rare materials.

These medicines and ingredients are not of much use to Tierra's current plans.

However, out of politeness, Tiera reluctantly accepted it.

After buying the raw materials, Harry, Ron, and Hermione took Tyella to the bookstore, mainly to buy textbooks for two new courses—

Magical creature conservation courses and divination courses.

Inside Flourish and Blotts, there's a large iron cage containing about a hundred copies of "The Monster Book of Monsters." These books, with covers resembling the skin of wild beasts, flutter wildly in the cage. They're locked together, engaged in a furious wrestling match, biting and fighting fiercely, with torn pages flying everywhere.

But when Tiera walked into the bookstore, all the copies of "The Monster Book of Monsters" in the iron cage suddenly paused.

Then, the books of "The Monster Book of Monsters" clung tightly to the bars of the iron cage, barking wildly at Tiera or sticking out tongues made of pages to show their goodwill.

It's like a puppy in an animal shelter begging to be adopted—

"Hello," Tierra greeted politely. "I'm here to buy books, 'The Monster Book of Monsters' and 'Seeing the Future Through the Fog'."

"Oh, shit!" the manager of Flourish and Blotts cursed in despair.

But he still called to the clerk and asked him to get Tiera a copy of "Seeing the Future Through the Fog." Then the manager put on a thick pair of gloves, picked up a thick, knotted cane, and walked toward the iron cage containing "The Monster Book of Monsters."

The bookstore manager opened the iron cage—

But to his surprise, the books inside the cage did not try to attack him. Instead, after discovering that he had opened the cage, they kept trying to squeeze out of it.

The bookstore manager grabbed a book at random, tossed it to Tierra, and then quickly locked the cage door again.

"That's twenty-seven Galleons in total," the bookstore manager said.

“Oh… okay.” Tiera took out a seamless extension pouch from her pocket, and then prepared to count out twenty-seven Galleons one by one.

Then Harry tugged at him.

“Come on, Tyella, I’ve already paid for you!” Harry said with a smile.

“Oh no, Harry, I can’t accept this,” Tierra refused, then loosened her fingers, letting the Galleon she had just lit slide back into the seamless extension pouch—

Sigh, there's nothing I can do, I'm forced to by life.

Although Tierra is now wealthy, he was terrified of poverty in the past.

Moreover, who knows how much it will cost to buy materials for the ascension ceremony in the future.

penny……

Zhao Dehan's face.

I was terrified of being poor before, and now I dare not spend a single penny recklessly.
