Harry Potter and the Great Old Ones

Chapter 238 The Mad Walker

Chapter 238 The Mad Walker

The last exam at Hogwarts was Divination, and Harry and Ron walked up the marble stairs together.

Hermione parted ways with them on the second floor, while Harry and Ron walked all the way to the eighth floor. Many students sat on the spiral staircase leading to Professor Trelawney's classroom, hoping to memorize something at the last minute.

“She wants to see each of us separately,” Neville told them, as they sat down next to him after they arrived. He had a copy of “Seeing the Future Through the Fog” on his lap, open to the chapter on the crystal ball.

"Has either of you seen anything in the crystal ball?" Neville asked sullenly.

“No…” Harry replied absentmindedly, while looking around in the line.

“Um… Neville, have you seen Tyella?” Harry asked worriedly. “I haven’t seen him since our Defense Against the Dark Arts exam yesterday afternoon…”

“Me neither,” Neville said. “Maybe she’s off having some fun somewhere. You know, ever since that prophecy, Professor Trelawney hasn’t liked Tierra much, so it’s very possible that Tierra predicted she wouldn’t pass and simply didn’t take the exam.”

The line outside the classroom shortened very slowly. Every time someone came down the silver staircase, the rest of the class would whisper, "What did she ask? Did she pass?"

But they all refused to answer.

Harry waited anxiously until Professor Trelawney called his name. Ron went in before Harry.

"How did the exam go?" Harry asked him, standing up himself.

“It’s a mess,” Ron said. “I couldn’t see anything, so I just made it up. I don’t think she believed me, but…”

“Meet in the common room,” Harry said quietly, just as Professor Trelawney’s voice called out, “Harry Potter!”

Harry nervously entered the tower.

The tower room was hotter than ever before. The curtains were drawn, a fire burned in the fireplace, and the usual nauseating smell made Harry cough as he made his way through the tables toward Professor Trelawney. She was sitting there waiting for him, a huge crystal ball in front of her.

“Hello, dear,” Professor Trelawney said gently. “Look at this crystal ball. I’ll time you now, and then tell me what you see inside.”

Harry sat opposite Trelawney, leaning over to look at the crystal ball, straining to see what it might reveal besides the swirling white mist—

But I couldn't see anything.

……

Meanwhile, on the alien planet, Voldemort, the Chaos One, had ceased his roar. The ten giant trees controlled by Tiera were being screwed into a colossal, pillar-like tree as if they were steel bars.

The colossal tree, composed of ten different types of wand wood, was pitted and riddled with ten meteorites that were still burning.

Facing the now quiet Voldemort, Tierra once again waved her tentacles, chanting ancient, obscure, and difficult incantations with the "Inheritor."

The colossal tree formed by the blasphemous array began to writhe and collapse inward again, the towering trunk gradually shrinking—

Soon, the giant tree vanished, leaving only a wooden walking stick, more than half a person's height, standing in the middle of the empty field.

It was a rather grotesque cane, its surface gleaming with a metallic, inky sheen. Thicker at the top and thinner at the bottom, it was made of ten intertwined wooden strips, each strip inlaid with a differently colored, gelatinous gemstone, arranged sequentially from bottom to top.

At the top of the cane was a grotesque head sculpture, neither human nor snake, with its gaping maw, yet its eyes darting around with agile intelligence.

When it saw Tiera, it immediately let out a terrifying cheer, and ten spider-like legs grew from the tip of the staff.

The cane swiftly moved its ten short legs, ran to Tierra's side, and excitedly circled around her.

"Alright, alright." Tie stretched out a tentacle and curled up his cane. "I'll call you... Mad Walker."

The cane, or rather the "Mad Walker," gurgled contentedly as Tiera grasped it, and then the head sculpture atop the "Mad Walker" fell silent.

Tiera switched accounts again, her consciousness returning to her original body.

“Sir…” Seeing that Tierra had woken up, Dobby immediately ran over and helped Tierra sit up.

"Success...?" Slytherin glided over and asked in a hoarse Parsleyan.

“There’s just a little bit left to finish.” Tierra slowly sat up with Dobby’s help. “The rest is up to you.”

“Dobby…Dobby will definitely complete the mission!” Dobby said. “Dobby has been studying for several months! Dobby will definitely have no problem!”

Tyrell nodded and looked at Slytherin earnestly, saying:

"Once I become a god, I will definitely help you regain eternal sanity and human form."

“Hehehe…” Slytherin chuckled hoarsely, “Don’t worry, kid, I’ve already placed my bets on you.”

“Sigh…” Slytherin suddenly sighed, “More than a thousand years have passed… and the wizarding world has actually produced someone like you… someone… someone. To be honest, when you talked to me about your plans, I almost thought you’d gone mad. My time…” Slytherin looked again at the Gryffindor sword in his hand—

Our era has passed...

“Your era has never passed; you would still be the most outstanding wizards today,” Tiera said with a smile. “It’s just that my era has begun.”

As she spoke, Tierra tried to raise her right hand—

But then he realized his right hand was empty, and could only sigh helplessly as he raised his left hand towards Dobby—

“Dobby, the ring, put it on,” Tiera said, gesturing for Dobby to take off the ring he was wearing on his left hand.

“And that book,” Tiera said, pointing to the ancient Greek Bible on the wooden table after Dobby put on the ring.

“Salazar, the box,” Tiera instructed again.

Slytherin opened the seamless extension box that Tyrell had brought and took out its contents one by one—

“Distilled water,” Tierra said.

“Confirmed.” Slytherin took a sealed glass bottle from his briefcase.

“Firewood,” Tierra said again.

“Confirmed.” Slytherin pulled out a bundle of shiny black firewood.

"Lion's mane".

"confirm."

"Eagle Claw".

"confirm."

"Bull horns".

"confirm."

"Human skin".

"confirm."

"The cross".

"confirm."

"Inverted cross".

"confirm"

"The Spear of Longinus".

"confirm."

“Alright.” Tierra smiled. “Leave the Gryffindor sword here.”

A portal of light opened behind Tiera, and the "Inheritor," "Parasite," and "Mad Walker" emerged from it and flew into the briefcase.

Slytherin closed the briefcase and held it in his hand.

Dobby grabbed Tyella and Slytherin with both hands, then activated Merlin's ring. Tyella, Dobby, and Slytherin appeared in Azkaban the next second.
