Chapter 307 Harry's Intuition
Chapter 307 Harry's Intuition
As Harry and Hermione reached the lake, Tyella and Lunalovegood's conversation came to an end. After seeing Harry approach, Tyella and Lunalovegood said goodbye and followed Harry and Hermione toward the castle.
Lunalovgood, on the other hand, walked in the opposite direction—
Because she said she wanted to feed the Thestrals and invited Tyra to come along.
“Oh, I’ll pass,” Tierra said. “I can’t see them anyway, there’s no point in me going.”
"What did you agree on?" Harry asked, puzzled, on the way back to the castle.
"Hehe." Tiera chuckled. "You'll see in a few days."
Harry: ? ? ?
"Haha." Tyella laughed when she saw Harry's bewildered and somewhat dissatisfied expression. "Alright, alright, I'll tell you."
“You know that the Lunalovgood family owns a magazine publishing house, right?” Tierra asked.
“I don’t know…” Harry said.
"Is it that 'The Quibbler'?" Hermione interjected. "I've heard of it. It's supposed to be a magazine that introduces all sorts of strange things in the wizarding world."
“That’s how it used to be,” Tierra said, “but now it’s a magazine that can rival the Daily Prophet.”
“So…” Hermione’s eyes suddenly lit up, “So you want to publish an article in The Quibbler? You want to publish an article about treating house-elves kindly?”
“Hmm…more or less,” Tierra said. “To be precise, I’d like to be interviewed by The Quibbler.”
"An interview?" Hermione asked, puzzled.
“Every Triwizard Tournament champion is interviewed by the Daily Prophet during the tournament,” Tierra said, glancing at Harry. “But I don’t want to be interviewed by the Daily Prophet; I’d rather be interviewed by The Quibbler.”
"Why?" Hermione asked.
"If I were to urge everyone to treat house-elves kindly in an interview, do you think the Daily Prophet would report it truthfully?" Tierra countered. "Remember what I taught you?"
"The media is the mouthpiece of capital," Hermione realized.
"What capital? What media?" Harry asked, puzzled. "What are you talking about?"
“I’ll explain later, Harry,” Hermione said, waving her hand. “So you’re thinking of supporting your own media outlet?”
“Theoretically speaking…” Tiella said, “we have already supported our own media… The Quibbler is one of them.”
“We have complete control over what’s published in Quixote,” Tierra added.
“That’s fantastic!” Hermione exclaimed. “Now we can encourage everyone to treat house-elves kindly!”
"Wait, what mouthpiece? What 'The Quibbler'?" Harry asked, puzzled. "What are you talking about?"
Tyella and Hermione exchanged a glance, then smiled and said almost in unison—
"No, it's nothing."
Harry scratched his head, puzzled, and opened his mouth as if to ask something, but didn't know where to begin.
He could only shake his head, looking somewhat dejected, and followed Tyella and Hermione back to the castle.
Time quickly moved to the next day—the first Monday after the Halloween dinner—and Harry thought things would improve once everyone got used to him being the hero.
But after resuming classes, Harry realized he was very wrong; once classes started, he could no longer hide from the other students at school—
The students from the other houses, like the Gryffindors, apparently thought Harry had signed up for the tournament himself. However, unlike the Gryffindors, they seemed to think the matter was not very honorable.
Hefpatch and Ravenclaw were alright; these two houses had always had a good relationship with Gryffindor. Although they felt that Tyrell and Harry had become Hogwarts' champions through cheating, they still represented Hogwarts nonetheless. Hefpatch and Ravenclaw, while not overly excited, at least greeted Harry and Tyrell warmly upon seeing them and said...
"come on".
This enthusiasm made Harry a little uncomfortable—
But Tierra seems to be enthusiastic about it.
Whenever a Hefpatch or Ravenclaw student greeted Tierra, she would smile and shake hands with them warmly.
Harry and Tyrell had entered the Great Hall together, but when Tyrell saw a light blonde Ravenclaw girl—
After the third-year witch named Luna Lovegood, Tyella abandoned Harry and went straight to the Ravenclaw table. While eating breakfast, she discussed something with Luna Lovegood. Something she said suddenly made Luna Lovegood burst into laughter, and they seemed to be having a good time.
This situation made Harry a little jealous—
This is the second time in three years that Tiera has not eaten breakfast with him, except during summer vacation and when Tiera was injured!
Harry sat down at the Gryffindor table, somewhat sulking, and impatiently dismissed the young Gryffindor wizards who had come to congratulate him.
Especially those two annoying little tagalongs, Colin Crevy and Danis Crivey.
Harry ate his breakfast while looking around, glancing at the Ravenclaw table, then at the entrance, and finally at the Gryffindor table—
Harry wanted to have a serious talk with Ron. For some reason, Harry suddenly understood Ron's feelings.
Ever since that night at the Goblet of Fire, Harry had a vague feeling that Tyrell was hiding something from him—
It's not that Tyrell hadn't been hiding something from him before; Harry sensed that Tyrell had always been keeping things from him. But after the Goblet of Fire—to be precise, from the moment Tyrell's name emerged from the Goblet of Fire—Harry could clearly feel that something was different.
Even if Tyrell's attitude towards him didn't change, it was as if Tyrell was standing in a huge shadow, and Harry could see Tyrell's face, he could see Tyrell's smile—
But Harry couldn't see the shadow behind Tyella.
Harry wanted to confront Tyrell directly, but he didn't need to do that to guess her answer—
"nothing."
Harry could even picture Tyrell's expression when she said those words: a mix of smugness, nonchalance, a sense that Harry was overthinking things, and a hint of complete ignorance.
So now Harry, put yourself in their shoes—
Ron must think the same way, and Ron must also feel that he is hiding something from him.
This made Harry feel a little guilty, so he wanted to have a good talk with Ron.
