Harry Potter and the Great Old Ones

Chapter 310: Beetles Catching Harry, Crows Behind

Chapter 310: Beetles Catching Harry, Crows Behind
As Hagrid's magical creatures class was about to end, Tyella returned to Hagrid's cabin and made up an excuse that she had released the two Blasttail snails back into the wild.

“If you love them, set them free,” Tierra said, feigning deep affection. “I believe they would much rather enjoy the vast Forbidden Forest than the cramped stone house, so I released them back into the wild.”

After Tyella finished explaining her reasons, Hagrid could clearly see that he breathed a sigh of relief.

“I think so too!” Hagrid said. “They are clearly better suited for the wild!”

They continued attending classes for the next few days, but Harry's days were clearly less comfortable—

After the initial excitement wore off, the Hogwarts students gradually came to their senses. Under the relentless slander from the Slytherin students, a feeling called jealousy began to sprout among the young wizards outside of Gryffindor.

They were all sucked away by Tiera's "Dementor Eye".

So from this perspective alone, Tyrell should thank Slytherin's students, especially Draco Malfoy.

Perhaps because of Lucius Malfoy's request, Draco Malfoy dared not openly oppose him, but coincidentally, he was going through a rebellious phase and couldn't swallow his anger, so he secretly spread rumors behind his back, slandering him and Harry—

Then, a bunch of "jealousy" worms appeared in Tiera's "Heaven" dimension. Tiera used the "creation" authority held by the "Mad Walker" to materialize the power of jealousy into worms.

Normally speaking, any wizard of a certain age knows that the power of emotions is a good thing; it can combine with magic to form dark magic, and many people have also tried to extract the power of emotions separately.

But all of these attempts ultimately failed. The only way to create a dark magic item was to combine a soul imbued with emotional power with a magical object through curses or special magical rituals.

This is why black magic is so infamous.

Besides the students, the professors at Hogwarts—

In particular, Professor Snape did not give Harry any special treatment just because he became a champion; on the contrary, Professor Snape became even more demanding.

Snape's Potions class began to terrify Harry; under Professor Snape's expressionless mockery, it became a painful ordeal.

For a full hour and a half, Harry was locked in the underground classroom with Snape and the Slytherins, who seemed determined to make him suffer as much as possible because he dared to be the school's hero.

This was probably the most unbearable experience Harry could imagine; he had been struggling to endure a Friday Potions class.

However, things soon took a turn for the better—

"Harry! Tyella!"

Just as Harry was enduring the torment of Potions class, a little boy—

Colin Crevy ran in, calling out.

"What is it?" Snape asked impatiently.

"Excuse me, sir, I need to take Harry Potter and Tyrell upstairs."

Snape's gaze shifted from his hooked nose to Colin, and the smile vanished from Colin's eager face.

“Potter has an hour of Potions class,” Snape said coldly. “He’ll go upstairs after class.”

Colin blushed.

“But, sir, sir, Mr. Bagman wants him to go,” he said nervously. “All the warriors want to go, and I think they want to…”

“Very well, very well!” Snape snapped. “Potter, leave your things here. I want you to come back later to test your antidote.”

“As for Tiera!” Snape said, turning his head. “Take your things with you.” “Excuse me, sir—they must take his things,” Colin said in a tense, shrill voice, “all the warriors—”

“Very well!” said Snape. “Potter—take your bag and disappear!”

Harry, as if granted a pardon, stuffed everything into his backpack, waited a moment for Tierra, and then ran out of the Potions classroom after Colin.

"This is it! Hurry up and go in!" Colin said, leading them to the door of a classroom on the second floor.

"Good luck!" Colin said, then ran off, his face flushed.

Harry lifted
This is a small classroom, with most of the desks pushed to the back, leaving a large open space in the middle.

However, there were three desks placed side by side in front of the blackboard, covered with a long piece of velvet.

Behind the velvet-covered desks were five chairs, one of which sat Ludo Bagman, who was talking to a witch Harry had never seen before, dressed in a magenta robe.

Viktor Krum stood in a corner with his usual gloomy face, not speaking to anyone.

Bagman suddenly saw Harry, quickly stood up, and jumped forward.

"Ah, they've arrived! Two champions of Hogwarts! Come in, come in... There's nothing to worry about, it's just the wand testing ceremony, the other referees will be here soon—"

"Detection wand?" Harry asked anxiously.

“We need to check that your wands are fully functional and in good working order, because they will be your most important equipment in future competitions,” Bagman said. “The experts are upstairs with Dumbledore. Then we’ll take some photos. This is Rita Skeeter.”

Bagman pointed to the witch in the magenta robe, "She's writing a short article for the Daily Prophet about the tournament..."

“Perhaps it’s not a small matter, Ludo,” Rita Skeeter said.

Her hair was styled into elaborate, stiff, oddly shaped curls, which looked particularly awkward against her large chin. She wore jeweled glasses, her thick, fleshy fingers clutched a crocodile-skin handbag, her nails were two inches long and painted bright red, and her small, mouse-like eyes were fixed intently on Harry—

It's like a fly seeing stinky dung.

That's why Rita Skitta didn't notice that the young wizard standing next to Harry was staring at her with the same look.

“Before we begin, may I speak a few words with Harry?” Rita Skitta asked Bagman, her eyes still fixed on Harry. “The youngest champion, you know… to add some color to the story.”

“No problem!” Bagman exclaimed. “But—I wonder if Harry objects?”

"Hmm—" Harry was about to agree when he suddenly felt his arm being tugged—

“No, Harry won’t agree.” Tyella gently tugged at Harry’s arm and said, “I’m so sorry, Ms. Ritaskita, but to be precise, Harry and I have already booked exclusive interviews, so I’m afraid we can’t accept your interview.”

"An exclusive interview?" Rita Skita frowned, pressing him. "Whose exclusive interview?"

"Hehe..." Tyra smiled mysteriously, but didn't say anything. Instead, she turned her head and gave Harry a "trust me" look.
