Chapter 335 Trelawney's Prophecy
Chapter 335 Trelawney's Prophecy
To ease the awkwardness caused by Newtscamander's problem, before anyone could react, Tiera cast a spell on Ritaskita, who had sneaked in.
"Tiera!" Newtscamander was stunned for a moment, then immediately shouted, "What are you doing?"
Tiera waved her wand, unleashing a blazing whip of fire that struck Rita Skitta directly.
“I’m expelling pests,” Tierra said. “Professor Dumbledore has given clear instructions that Rita Skitta is forbidden from entering the campus.”
As she spoke, Tiera continued to lash Ritaskita with her flaming whip, causing her to scream and writhe in pain.
"Tiera! Stop, Tiera!" Newtscamander rushed over and grabbed Tiera's hand from behind, stopping her from continuing her attack on Ritaskita.
“I’m sorry, Ms. Skitta,” Newtscamander said politely to Rita Skitta, twisting Tiera’s hand. “Our little warrior… well… because, because of puberty, puberty, his emotions are a bit—”
"Go to hell, you bedbug!"
But Tiera broke free of Newtscamander's restraints and once again lashed out at Ritaskita with her flaming whip—
"I won't let you find out any secrets about Headmaster Dumbledore!" Tierra shouted as she whipped him, continuing until Rita Skitta fled in panic.
"Get lost, you bug! I won't tell you Dumbledore's secret!"
After seeing Ritaskita roll away, Tiera shouted again.
"Dumbledore's...secret?" Newt Scamander asked hesitantly after Rita Skitta ran off.
“You know, it’s about him and Grindelwald.” After Rita Skitta ran away, Tiera instantly returned to normal. “It was just to distract Rita Skitta from staring at Harry and me.”
Newt Scamander: ...
Newt opened his mouth, but ultimately didn't know what to say, so he obediently kept it closed.
"Okay, let's continue with our question—"
“Oh, look!” Tiera suddenly interrupted, “They’ve subdued the Blasttail. I’ll go take a look.”
With that, Tiera dashed away.
“Sigh…” Newtscamander sighed helplessly, then wrote in his notebook—
"The first contact with the little monster failed; prepare for the second contact."
After finishing writing, Newtscamander closed the notebook, sighed, and sat on the pumpkin to continue observing Tyella.
After the farce in the Magical Creatures Protection class ended, Professor Trelawney's Divination class was scheduled for the afternoon.
A month later, Harry and Ron finally sat down at a fortune-telling table again.
To please Professor Trelawney, Harry and Ron kept predicting each other's deaths, then giggling foolishly.
This annoyed Professor Trelawney a little.
“I think!” she said suddenly, her voice low and mysterious, but unable to hide her obvious annoyance, “some of us…”
—She stared at Harry meaningfully—
"If I had seen what I saw when I did the crystal ball divination last night, I probably wouldn't have been so reckless. Last night, I was sitting here, engrossed in my needlework, when I suddenly had an uncontrollable urge to consult my crystal ball. I stood up, sat in front of the crystal ball, and gazed into the depths of the crystal... Tell me, what did I see gazing at me?"
"An ugly old bat with huge glasses?" Ron muttered under his breath.
Harry tried hard not to laugh.
“It is death, my dear,” Professor Trelawney said solemnly.
Parvati and Lavender both covered their mouths with their hands, looking horrified.
“Yes…yes…” Professor Trelawney nodded seriously and said, “It’s coming, getting closer and closer, it’s circling overhead like a vulture, getting lower and lower…lower and lower, right above the castle…” She stared sharply at Harry, who yawned widely without any attempt to hide it.
But after staring at Harry for a while, Professor Trelawney suddenly froze, her eyes glazing ahead—
"I saw death."
Trelawney grinned maliciously, speaking in a low voice that didn't sound like her, and then looked everyone in the classroom over.
But his gaze lingered on Tyella and Harry for a moment.
“I saw a sacrifice.” Trelawney laughed—
She laughed as if she had a mouthful of phlegm stuck in her throat.
“I saw the power of darkness rising from the smoke, I saw sacrifice, I saw blasphemy… I saw blasphemy!”
Professor Trelawney called out, and Tyrell, who had been whispering with Hermione at the table next to Harry, couldn't help but look up at Trelawney.
"The forces of blasphemy and evil descended from the heavens."
Professor Trelawney continued.
"That burning giant tree stretched towards the boundless universe... Ugh... Cough cough... Cough cough..."
Trelawney said, then suddenly, she shuddered, gagged a few times, and gradually returned to normal—
“Oh, sorry, kids,” Trelawney said. “It’s so hot and stuffy in here. I just took a nap. Hmm… where were we? Oh right, death.”
Seeing Professor Trelawney's expression, Tierra fell into deep thought—
Clearly, Trelawney has just made another prediction.
And it was a genuine prophecy.
But... what does her prophecy mean?
Tierra pondered.
“She’s done this trick about eighty times already. If she didn’t, it would be a little scary.” After class, Harry saw Tyrell still deep in thought and couldn’t help but comfort her. “But if every time she says I’m going to die, I fall down and die, I’ll become a medical miracle.”
"Hmm..." Tiera said listlessly.
Professor Trelawney's prophecy was too vague; even Tyella could not glean any important information from it.
“You’ll become a super-concentrated ghost. After all, you’ve been prophesied to die several times already, so your density will definitely be greater than other ghosts. You might even be able to throw things at us like Peeves,” Ron chuckled. “At least we don’t have homework.”
"Oh, right, Tyella!" Hermione suddenly tugged at Tyella as they walked out of the Divination classroom and said—
“Hmm… let’s go to the library,” Hermione said. “I think there are a few things that need to be revised about the Declaration of Equality of Magical Beings that we were discussing earlier.”
Tyrell glanced at Ron and Harry, then at Hermione, whose face was resolute—
“Hmm… alright, let’s go,” Tierra said. “I also think there’s room for improvement.”
—To achieve immortality through writing books and establishing doctrines, one must find a person who shares the same aspirations and even the same understanding, who will become an even stronger anchor for oneself.
Once Hermione returned from the divine dimension, the stronger her faith became, the easier it was for Tyella to recall everything about her.
