Harry Potter and the Great Old Ones

Chapter 363 Cursed Letter and Cursed Worm

Chapter 363 Cursed Letter and Cursed Worm
Upon hearing Sirius Black utter that name, Ron's face drained of color instantly, turning deathly pale, his lips turning bluish-purple, and he trembled slightly, on the verge of vomiting.

"That's it, the Marauder's Map!" Harry suddenly exclaimed. "The Marauder's Map! I can use the Marauder's Map to find Little... to find the undercover agent of the Mysterio!"

Harry glanced at Ron's pale face and considerately changed "Peter Pettigrew" to "Mysterio's spy."

“I don’t have high hopes for that.” Sirius shook his head and said, “He knows that map better than any of you. That map is a magical artifact that we made when we were in fourth or fifth grade. I made this Marauder’s Map that covers the entire Hogwarts Castle with the help of my great-great-grandfather, Phineas Black. But at the same time, because we were not skilled enough at the time, this map has several fatal flaws.”

"A flaw?" Harry asked, puzzled. "I think the Marauder's Map is already pretty perfect."

“No, Harry,” Sirius said. “The Marauder’s Map only shows the parts of Hogwarts that we have already explored, and if many people are in the same space at the same time, their name tags will overlap.”

"In other words, if Peter Pettigrew turns into a mouse and hides inside a wall, or if he stays in crowded places," Sirius Black said, "the Marauder's Map becomes useless."

Sirius Black's eyes flashed with hatred as he said, "That's one of the reasons I came to the vicinity of Hogwarts."

Meanwhile, Tierra and Hermione had just finished lunch and were walking out of a Chinese restaurant—

"What's wrong?" Hermione asked, puzzled.

“No, it’s nothing.” Tierra turned her gaze away from the Chinese restaurant.

“Let’s go,” Tierra said with a smile, raising her hand and leading Hermione through a portal of light.

Tierra just took Hermione to the Chinese restaurant where the Chinese couple who had taken him in had lunch.

However, Tiera did not use her real face. Instead, she used the Distortion spell to transform herself into a different appearance that the Chinese couple would never recognize.

And before leaving, he secretly slipped £30,000 into their cash register—

The layout of the store remains unchanged, almost exactly the same as when Tierra worked as a cashier, except that it has become a little dirtier and older.

This 30,000 pounds was the only Muggle currency left in Tierra.

Tiera was neither a good nor a bad person.

I understand the principle of repaying a small kindness with a great one.

If it weren't for this kind Chinese couple, Tyrell probably wouldn't have had much time to study magic during her five years at Hogwarts, let alone develop such a solid foundation in dark magic.

But there's not much Tierra can do to help this kind couple right now; the only thing she can do is leave them some cash so the Chinese couple can have a little less to worry about.

And to keep yourself far away from them.

In a way, I am a jinx; I'm either causing trouble or on my way to causing trouble.

After leaving Chinatown, Tyella didn't appear directly at Hermione's door. Instead, she went through the portal to the nearest bus stop to Chinatown, intending to take a bus to Hermione's house.

Since Tyrell had never been to Hermione's house before, she still had to take the bus the first time she went.

Upon arriving at Hermione's house, Tyrell let Hermione go inside by herself, then pushed open a portal of light, returning her to Hogwarts.

Despite Hermione's best efforts to persuade her to stay, Tyella refused.

His time was precious, and he knew what was important. His purpose in sending Hermione home was to plant the anchor of "Heir" in Hermione's heart, not to meet her parents.

If he were to meet Hermione's parents, they might try to engage him in conversation about various things, and might even invite him to stay for dinner—

If that's the case, Tiera's entire day of study plans could be ruined.

So Tyrell simply left Hermione at her doorstep and went back to Hogwarts herself. The next morning, before breakfast, Tyrell would pick Hermione up and take her back to Hogwarts when Hermione called her name to the "Hanged Man" sign.

"Good morning." The next morning, Hermione pretended to come out of the Gryffindor common room and ran into Harry and Ron in the dining room, so she greeted them cheerfully.

But unlike Hermione, both Harry and Ron seemed a bit listless.

Ron, in particular, was pale-faced and only ate a sandwich, a glass of milk, and two plates of bacon and eggs for breakfast.

Tyella knew the reason, of course—after Harry and Ron returned last night, Harry told Tyella everything he had said to Sirius Black.

For this reason, Tierra even sensed the location of Peter the dwarf—

It's still in the Riddle family home in Little Hangleton.

The three Death Eater marks within Hogwarts—

Severus Snape, Igor Kakarov, and what looks like Moody's Barty Crouch Jr.

Everything was in Tiera's control.

Halfway through breakfast, the messenger owls arrived, and Hermione looked up eagerly, seemingly expectant.

“I’ve subscribed to the Daily Prophet. I’m fed up with getting everything from the Slytherins now,” Hermione explained.

“Great idea!” Harry said, looking up at the owls. “Hey, Hermione, I think you’re in luck—”

A gray owl flew toward Hermione.
Hermione looked at the owl with some anticipation.

Then the gray owl flew away again.

Landed in front of Tiera—

Then four barn owls, a brown owl, and a grey wood owl flew in, all vying to be the first to deliver the letter to him.

Tiera untied a letter, but as soon as she touched the cover, she rolled her eyes and threw the letter away.

"What's wrong?" The letter landed right in front of Ron, who asked curiously, then, without thinking, opened the envelope—

A yellowish-green liquid sprayed onto her hands, emitting a pungent gasoline smell, and large yellow blisters immediately appeared on Ron's hands.

"Ouch!" Ron cried, tears welling up in his eyes. He picked up a napkin to wipe the pus from his hands, but his fingers were covered with thick, painful sores, making them look like he was wearing a pair of bumpy, thick gloves.

“You’d better get to the hospital right away,” Harry said, as the owls around Tyella flew away one by one. “We’ll let Professor Sprout know…”

At this moment, Hermione picked up the letter and read: "You filthy Mudblood! You damn gay! I read in the Daily Prophet that you're playing with Harry Potter's feelings. That boy has suffered so much. Just wait, I'll find a big envelope and send you a spell next time."

Harry blushed as he heard Hermione read the words from the envelope.

Tierra rolled her eyes, then helped Ron up and said, "I'll take Ron to the school hospital. Please take this letter to Professor McGonagall or Professor Dumbledore."

After saying that, Tierra pulled Ron and walked out of the auditorium.

Ron followed behind Tierra, writhing in pain.

However, after leaving the formal wear hall, Tierra didn't go to the school hospital, but instead took Ron straight back to his dorm room—

"Ti, Tierra, aren't we going to the school hospital?" Ron asked with difficulty as they walked.

“No need for all that trouble,” Tierra said as she walked. When the area was mostly empty, Tierra paused and waved her wand at Ron—

A thick, fat worm crawled out of Ron's hand and then fell to the ground with a "thud."

After the worm landed, Tiera twirled her wand in her hand before tucking it back into her waistband.

"All done!" Ron exclaimed in delight, "I'm all done!"

“You’re amazing, Tierra!” Ron said again. “Thank you! Thank you, Tierra!”

“You’re welcome,” Tierra said shyly. “I should have opened this letter. You saved me from disaster. I should be the one thanking you. But you have to keep it a secret. You must keep my ability to turn curses into worms a secret.”

Thank you. I'll start a new chapter later; I can't put the author's note here.
