Chapter 491 Voldemort

While the Death Eaters, the eerie knights, and Tierra were locked in a standoff, Harry silently waved his hand behind him—

The eight people behind him seemed to understand Harry's gesture. The instant Harry waved his hand, they attacked in groups of three, each in a different direction—

Harry was grouped with Ron and Hermione, George, Fred, and Ginny Weasley were grouped together, and Luna, Cho Chang, and Neville were grouped together.

Harry's group charged toward Tierra, Weasley's group charged toward the golden warhorse carrying "War," and Neville's group charged toward the bronze warhorse carrying "Famine."

It must be said that Harry's combat instincts were very sharp, which allowed him to seize the perfect opportunity—

All nine members of Dumbledore's Army broke through the Death Eaters' encirclement.

Bellatrix Rustrange was the quickest to react, but even this madwoman only realized what was happening when Harry ran to her side, and by then she only had time to wave her wand and utter a single word—

"Heart-breaking and bone-cutting!"

But the spell missed—

To be precise, Bellatrix's Crucifixion was originally meant to hit Harry, but under some unknown force, the vicious forbidden curse was deflected in another direction.

After breaking through the encirclement, Harry immediately turned right and ran into a side path.

Bellatrix's spell then rushed towards Tyella, who was standing directly in front of them.

The spell struck Tiera, but—

But it had no effect.

Tierra remained standing there, that same chilling smile still on her face.

"Get out of the way!" Bellatrix roared angrily, then transformed into a cloud of black smoke and flew towards the passage Harry had just escaped through. Lucius Malfoy, along with the other Death Eaters, also turned into clouds of black smoke and flew towards the passage through which the other members of Dumbledore's Army had fled.

To their surprise, Tierra and the knights did not stop them, but watched them leave blankly.

Bellatrix was overjoyed and, after turning the corner, burst into waves of wild laughter.

But a moment later, Bellacrytes' laughter abruptly stopped—

Because she soon discovered that she was back to square one.

All the Death Eaters returned to Tyella and the three strange knights' encirclement.

The Death Eaters were terrified. They simultaneously flew upwards, leaping over layers of shelves, and then scattered outwards.

But the room containing the prophecy orb seemed endless. They flew for an unknown amount of time—perhaps a minute, perhaps two minutes, perhaps an hour, perhaps two hours—and still couldn't see the end of the room. Then—

"Bam—"

The Death Eaters who had scattered and fled met again.

Panicked, they had to descend slowly, and then—

They found themselves back inside the encirclement.

"Avada Kedavra!" Faced with this bizarre situation, the madwoman Bellatrix Rustrange chose to take the hit head-on, raising her wand and casting a killing spell.

A green light flashed.

At this moment, Tierra finally made a move—

He gently raised his hand towards the green light.

The green light gradually shortened and solidified in mid-air, eventually transforming into a large green worm that gently landed on Tiera's palm.

“Too weak.” Tiera finally spoke his first words since appearing, then crushed the green worm in his hand with force.

Bellatrix was stunned by this scene and stood there dumbfounded.

Lucius Malfoy was the first to react, rolling up his sleeve and pressing his wand against the Dark Lord's mark on his left arm.

The other Death Eaters followed suit and did the same thing.

“That’s more like it,” Tierra said with a smile, then waved and quietly turned away.

"Keep one or two; the rest are useless."

After speaking, Tiera disappeared into the darkness. "Hiss—"

The three warhorses let out excited roars, and the three strange knights riding on their backs seemed to come alive in an instant, their eyes becoming sharp and cruel, like wild beasts sizing up their prey.

The moment Tiera disappeared, three warhorses charged forward, their target the Death Eaters they had surrounded.

……

Harry, Ron, and Hermione, after much effort and many twists and turns, finally managed to escape the room filled with crystal balls.

He arrived at a huge circular room—

It was an empty, dimly lit, irregularly square room with a sunken center forming a huge stone pit, about thirty feet deep.

Irregular gray-white stone steps encircled the entire room, like stone benches, gradually descending one step at a time. Each step was very steep, like a lecture hall or the trial room where Harry was interrogated by Wizengamot. They were standing on the highest step.

But instead of a chained chair in the center of the pit, there was a flattened stone platform with an archway on top. It looked ancient and dilapidated, and Harry was amazed that it could still stand there without falling over.

There were no walls supporting the archway, and a tattered black curtain or drape hung on it. Although the air was cold and there was no wind, it swayed gently, as if it had just been touched.

Here they saw another group of their partners—

Neville, Luna, and Cho Chang.

Despite the fact that this was the time to run for her life, Luna stood blankly in front of the empty archway.

Staring blankly at the almost invisible white light in the center of the archway.

Harry approached the archway, thinking about the other side of the room.

When he met up with Neville, Luna, and Cho Chang—

A faint, but turbulent noise surged from the archway, making Harry feel as if he were on a bustling street.

“Let’s go, Luna, let’s hurry!” But Harry didn’t think twice and just reached out to pull Luna Lovegood—

But Luna didn't move. Instead, she gently placed her hand on the archway and said:

“I always feel… that it’s safe here…” Luna’s expression was vague and puzzled.

“I don’t know why… I feel safe here, this door feels safe…” Luna said, “safer than if we kept running…”

"Don't be silly, Luna!" Hermione reached out and forcefully pulled Luna away from the archway. "Let's go!"

With that, the six of them continued running forward—

Finally, at the elevator entrance of the Department of Mysteries, they encountered George, Fred, and Ginny.

All nine members of Dumbledore's Army were assembled.

They all squeezed into the elevator.

As the elevator slowly ascended, their still-shaken hearts gradually calmed down.

"We did it," Harry said, leaning against the elevator wall, panting heavily. "We did it."

“Tierra did it!” Hermione, also leaning against the elevator wall, retorted in the harshest tone she could muster. “If Tierra hadn’t suddenly appeared, we would be dead by now!”

“But—” Harry wanted to argue.

"The basement level, we've arrived at the Ministry of Magic's main hall." The elevator announcement interrupted Harry's attempt to explain.

Harry shook his head and walked out.

But after walking a few steps, Harry suddenly stopped.

He felt his blood growing colder inch by inch, and fear gripped his body like frost.

Not far from them.

A figure stood beside the magic fountain. The figure was tall and thin, wearing a black mask. His face, as terrifying as a snake, was pale and haggard, and his scarlet eyes, with pupils as narrow as slits, were staring intently at him.

“Ah, Harry,” Voldemort chuckled maliciously, “I was wondering when you’d be coming up here.”
