Chapter 523 The Atmosphere of Silence

Chapter 523 The Atmosphere of Silence

After Cornelius Fudge's inauguration ceremony concluded, Tierra, or one of the Tierras, followed Harry, Sirius, Lupin, and the rest of the Order of the Phoenix back to Number Twelve Grimmauld Place.

Perhaps because they were in London, the most outstanding wizards in the wizarding world chose to return to 12 Grimmauld Place on foot.

But clearly, apart from Hermione, no one, including Harry, thought that Tyrell's company was anything to be happy or excited about.

Similarly, on the walk back to Grimmauld Place, everyone else remained silent except for Hermione, who kept pestering Tyella with questions Harry couldn't understand at all.

Even Harry didn't say anything, he just kept silent, walking forward with his head down, but occasionally he would turn his head to look at Tyella, who was having a lively conversation with Hermione.

But when Tyrell notices him staring, Harry quickly turns his head back as if nothing had happened, continuing to walk forward in silence with his head down.

And Tierra—

He just smiled and didn't seem to care.

“Hmm, Tierra,” Hermione whispered, “I feel… I feel like your methods are a bit too radical for them. They seem scared.”

“Oh, Hermione, I remember telling you that revolution is a violent means,” Tyella said with a smile. “My methods have been quite mild. To be honest, if I were any more ruthless, I should have followed Grindelwald’s example and set off a pair of Fiendfyre to blow up the entire Ministry of Magic, and then rebuilt a brand new Ministry of Magic on the ruins.”

"Excuse my bluntness," Alastormodi, with one leg, said in a muffled voice as he walked with difficulty, "You've already blown up the Ministry of Magic once. From the Ministry of Magic Hall on the eighth basement level, to the Department of Mysteries on the ninth basement level, all the way to most of the Wizengamor Tribunal on the tenth basement level, the area you blasted is contained within the hole you created."

As Alastormudi huffed and puffed his way forward, he kept scrutinizing Tiera with one of his magical eyes—

“Let me guess,” Alastormudy said, “a lot of the good stuff in the Department of Mysteries wasn’t actually destroyed, but rather you used some kind of magic you don’t know about to hide it away, right?”

"I don't know what you're talking about," Tierra said without batting an eye.

“Heh.” Alastormudi chuckled mercilessly as he crossed the sidewalk with his cane. “Sounds like… in your words, heh… sounds like a means of sharing wealth and means of production.”

“Just as I said,” Tiera said with a smile, “war means waste. It’s a pity that those precious magical items have already been wasted.”

“Yes, yes, Tyella, you said revolution is a violent means,” Hermione said thoughtfully. “I mean, I mean, the way you punished those rebels at Cornelius Fudge’s inauguration today was a little too outrageous and horrific.”

“This universe itself is an absurd and chaotic universe,” Tiera said with a smile. “Warmth and normalcy are only temporary illusions; fear and distortion are the norm.”

“You’ve been immersed in this paradise of pleasure for far too long,” Tiera said with a laugh. “Oh no, you’ve never left this paradise of pleasure.”

“Konstantin Tsiolkovsky once said that the earth is the cradle of mankind, but mankind will not live in the cradle forever,” Tiera continued.

“Concon. Standin. Or what?” Sirius Black tried to attach the extremely tongue-twisting name, but obviously failed. “The wizarding world has been too narrow-minded,” Tierra continued. “We used to focus on how to compete with Muggles for survival resources. Why can’t we look further ahead? Why can’t we cooperate with Muggles to explore more survival resources together?”

"That's great! Tyella, that's great!" Hermione practically clapped for Tyella. While praising her, Hermione tugged at Harry, who was still rushing forward with his head down. "That's great, isn't it, Harry?"

"Huh? Oh, oh... yes, yes... it's great." Harry was pulled by Hermione and didn't react for a moment. He could only say blankly, and after glancing briefly at Tyella, he continued to walk forward with his head down.

Sensing the strange atmosphere within the group, Hermione had no choice but to keep her questions to herself and continue walking silently forward with the others.

Grimmauld Place number 12 was not far from the public restrooms located at the official entrance and exit of the Ministry of Magic, and soon, the group arrived in front of Grimmauld Place.

“Alright, we’ve arrived.” Alastormoudi said in a deep voice as he stood in front of the gate of number twelve Grimaldo Square. “Considering your escort duties, I think you’re at your busiest right now, so we won’t keep you any longer.”

After saying that, Alastormudi stared at Tiera with both his normal eye and his demonic eye, as if he didn't welcome Tiera at all.

“Professor Moody, Thier—” Hermione called out anxiously, but Moody waved her away.

“Take care, Tiera,” Moody said.

"Alright, alright then." Tiera shrugged indifferently and smiled—

Then, he gently drew a vertical line in the air behind him with his finger.

"Then Harry, and Hermione, see you at Hogwarts."

After she finished speaking, the space seemed to split open from the vertical line that Tiera had drawn in the void with her finger, and that vertical line developed into a desolate and chaotic crack.

The moment the crack appeared, it was like a black hole, emitting a huge suction force. Fallen leaves, dust, soil, and garbage in the square were all drawn towards the crack by this huge suction force.

However, the crack did not last long, as Tiera soon stepped into it.

Then, very quickly, the crack healed into a vertical line, and then the vertical line disappeared without a trace.

"Alright, Harry, let's go home." Everyone except Hermione breathed a sigh of relief after Tyrell disappeared. Seeing Harry seem a little downcast, Sirius reached out and patted Harry on the shoulder, wanting to say something comforting, but unsure how to begin, he could only pat Harry's shoulder—

Just like a father.

“I…I’m fine…” Harry forced a smile, patted Sirius’s hand on his shoulder, and then followed Moody, Sirius, Lupin, and the other members of the Order of the Phoenix into Number Twelve Grimmauld Place.
