Chapter 532 Dumbledore's Advice

Chapter 532 Dumbledore's Advice

Hogwarts, Headmaster's Office.

Tierra was summoned by Dumbledore for tea again.

“You’ve caused quite a stir in the wizarding world lately, and it’s not just one person…” Dumbledore poured himself a cup of black tea, leisurely handed it to Tyella, and then said, “It’s not just Lupin and Alastor; even some of my old friends in the American and French wizarding communities have written to me, questioning whether I instructed you to do these things.”

“Then I told them no,” Dumbledore said. “I admit your intentions were good. You raided Gringotts, took over the mess they left behind, and even boosted employment. You practically peacefully dismantled Knockturn Alley, that… that cancer that has plagued the Ministry of Magic for generations.”

“Hmm, thank you for the compliment, Headmaster Dumbledore.” Tierra took the teacup and took a small sip of black tea. “Please get straight to what comes after ‘but’.”

“But…” Dumbledore said, “but you have spread the chaos of Knockturn Alley to the entire wizarding world, not just the British wizarding community, you have even dragged in wizarding societies all over the world.”

“No, Headmaster Dumbledore.” Tyella smiled and shook her head. “It’s not me who’s dragged the wizards of the world into this mess, it’s their greed, their fear, and their ignorance.”

"Although the goblins of Gringotts are a financial oligarch, monopolizing the financial industry and most of the factories producing everyday goods in the wizarding world, but—"

Tierra paused here, took a sip of tea, and then continued:
"But this only applies to ordinary people. The lifeline held by Gringotts only applies to ordinary people in the wizarding world, those half-blood wizards, Muggle-born wizards, those poor pure-blood families, and other half-baked wizards who struggle to make a living in Knockturn Alley."

"Without Gringotts, their children have nowhere to collect student loans; without Gringotts' breeding farms, they can't even gather enough for a potion of the simplest Joyful Potion; without Gringotts' cheap White Potion, those werewolf wizards who have received almost no education face the risk of dying from infected wounds after each transformation. It is they who are afraid of Gringotts, not the pure-blood families sitting at the top making decisions."

"What are those pure-blooded families in power afraid of?"

"What are you trying to say?" Dumbledore countered.

“Pure-blood families have plenty of money, plenty of potion reserves, and plenty of ways to buy all sorts of magical materials. What are they afraid of?” Tiera chuckled. “Even if Gringotts holds the land deeds and property deeds of those ministries, does Gringotts really dare to turn against those ministries?”

"Don't forget, in the previous so-called 'fairy rebellions,' they were stripped of their right to use wands. They were second-class citizens in the wizarding world, or to put it more bluntly—"

"They are tools used by the upper-class pure-blood tycoons to rule over the lower-class wizard masses, and scapegoats to be pushed out when necessary."

Listening to Tyrell's words, Dumbledore silently took a sip of his black tea, then said calmly:
"Now that you understand, that's good."

“Speak, Headmaster Dumbledore,” Tyella teased, gesturing with her chin. “What is your real demand?”

“Hmm,” Dumbledore stroked his beard somewhat awkwardly. “I was going to repeat what you just told me, and point out that while the Gringotts goblins are abhorrently greedy, they don’t actually have the guts to declare war on you. Even if you seize their gold accumulated over thousands of years, they’ll at most cry pitifully everywhere and sow discord behind the scenes. They’d be lucky to get one or two small countries to help them, and the other Ministries of Magic would at most offer verbal support. They simply can’t, and don’t have, the ability to, form a united army of nearly half the wizarding world.” “What they truly fear is me,” Tierra said with a smile. “Looks like my performance that day scared everyone.”

“They have never seen such magic before,” Dumbledore said calmly. “I have never seen such magic either, to completely possess a person’s mind, spirit, and body. Even a divine being should not have such an ability.”

“Not all divine beings can do that, can they?” Dumbledore asked.

“Only me,” Tiera said with a smile. “Only Chaos.”

“The fairies are innocent.” Dumbledore nodded. “The wizards who make up the Allied Forces are also innocent.”

“Even those who hold power behind the coalition forces, hiding in their own countries and issuing orders, are innocent,” Dumbledore said. “You are the only god walking the earth in this age. Since Hermes, the wizarding world has not had a clearly documented god for nearly three thousand years.”

"Time has changed so much. History has become legend, legend has become myth, and now even myth has become faded and worn. The dust of time has covered everything. Modern wizards, trapped in their own cocoons and unable to move forward, have never witnessed the splendor of gods everywhere. They can never understand the greatness of the wizards of ancient times," Dumbledore said. "They are afraid of this power. They are afraid of this power that they have only heard of in myths and legends."

“You are a man of great ambition,” Dumbledore said. “I hope you can use a more inclusive and peaceful approach to dispel their fears.”

"You expect me to neither kill nor assimilate them?" Tierra succinctly concluded.

“Yes,” Dumbledore said. “Just as I said, they are innocent. It’s just that the wizarding world has been declining for thousands of years, which has led most wizards to have an instinctive fear and resistance to the unknown. You have shown enough strength. It’s time to change your approach. Therefore, I think we should handle this matter in a more inclusive way.”

“For example?” Tierra asked, raising an eyebrow.

“For example, you could use your spatial magic to send them all back to their respective countries,” Dumbledore said.

“You want me to become you,” Tierra said with a sigh, “to become a white wizard who protects the entire magical world.”

“Yes,” Dumbledore said. “Just like I told you when we were in your first year. You have the heart of a tiger, but the gentleness of a rose. I hope there will always be a place in your heart where all your tenderness and love reside.”

"Heh," Tiera chuckled softly, picked up her teacup, and drank it all in one gulp.

"Alright, alright, as you wish, I won't kill them, I won't assimilate them, I'll let them see the tenderness and love in my heart!"
