Chapter 547 The Extinction of the Race

Chapter 547 The Extinction of the Race

In the dead of night at Hogwarts, Dumbledore, who was resting with his eyes closed in his office chair, seemed to be slightly inspired. A chilling feeling instantly swept over his body, forcing him to wearily open his eyes and stare blankly at the ceiling of the headmaster's office.

Since this morning, an inexplicable, vague sense of foreboding had been lingering in his mind.

The premonition grew stronger as midnight approached, making it so unsettling that Dumbledore could barely sleep and could only rest briefly in his soft, large office chair.

An eerie moonlight shone down on the world, shining through the thin glass window into Dumbledore's headmaster's office.

Now fully conscious, Dumbledore looked out the window at the eerie moonlight—

In that instant, Dumbledore felt a chill run through his body; on this otherwise warm summer night, he felt as if he had fallen into an ice cellar.

"Tiera!" Dumbledore shouted into the empty room, his voice filled with barely suppressed anger and bewilderment.

Dumbledore immediately realized that a world war between wizards had begun, and that this was Tyrell's doing.

Based on the intuition of an old wizard, he was unwilling and dared not examine the moonlight closely, let alone look up at the moon, because his intuition and experience told him that it must be extremely dangerous.

"Good evening, Headmaster Dumbledore." As Dumbledore's voice faded and dissipated, a faint figure appeared in Dumbledore's office, right before him.

Tiera, dressed in a brightly colored papal robe, floated in mid-air, bowed her head, and greeted him politely and humbly before slowly landing on the ground and sitting in the chair at the other end of Dumbledore's desk.

"What are you doing?" Dumbledore demanded before Tierra could even sit down. "What have you done?"

“As you wish.” Tiera smiled and said confidently, “The moon is where I attained enlightenment and became a god. Based on it, I created a dream world for them, a world filled with my tenderness and love.”

Tiera spoke the last few words almost one by one.

“Weren’t you afraid of casualties? Didn’t you ask me to influence them with gentleness and love?” Tiera continued, “You see, I did it.”

“You’re mocking me,” Dumbledore said grimly, his face darkening.

“No,” Tyella denied, then said, “I’m mocking the way you do it.” “You are kind, that’s good, that’s your virtue, your faith, the source of your magic. I have no right to interfere or blame you,” Tyella said with a smile. “I also admire your kindness, which is why you are the greatest white wizard in history, and why you are the greatest headmaster of Hogwarts.”

“But your mercy is no different from that of the wizarding society, and even more so from that of the entire wizarding world,” Tiera said with a cold laugh. “We have already begun to slide into the abyss. The wizarding society is already weak, and if it continues to disintegrate like this, the wizarding world will surely fall into the abyss.”

"so?"

"Therefore, at this time, we must use an iron fist to gather the power of most of the wizards, and we must use overwhelming force and terrifying methods to quell everyone's thoughts of resistance and division," Tiera said.

"Is it necessary?" Dumbledore asked. "As you said before, can't we find another planet and start a completely new life without contact with Muggles?"

“You have the ability,” Dumbledore added, giving Tyella a deep look. “Don’t lie to me, I believe you. You have the ability. Before today, I was just guessing, but today, after witnessing you use such powerful magic, I believe you. You can turn a barren planet into a habitable place with a flick of your wrist.”

“Yes, I can,” Tierra did not deny it, “but I’m sorry, I don’t want to.”

"Hmm?" Dumbledore looked at Tyrell with a puzzled expression.

“I don’t want to support useless people,” Tierra said. “I don’t want to support this group of wizards that are declining generation after generation.”

"The corruption of the wizarding world is not due to how powerful the Muggles are, nor to how evil the Dark Lord is."

"The decay of the wizarding world lies in their complacency, their stagnation, their lack of ambition, their inaction, their self-abandonment, and their self-imposed isolation."

“Yes, that’s right. I can provide wizards with a comfortable, completely isolated environment, free from any external influences, with abundant resources, and so that they will never have any worries. But what then?” Tierra stared at Dumbledore and asked rhetorically.

“Then I will only get a slowly aging, slowly decaying wizarding society,” Tiera said firmly. “What I will get is the corpse of a wizarding society. Yes, a wizarding society will eventually perish, perish in this comfort.”

"This process may be very long for you, very long, even thousands of years, but I am a divine being. My life is eternal and infinite. My dimension is high above. Thousands of years are nothing to me, just from noon to nightfall, just from darkness to dawn. In my eyes, the death of the wizarding race is nothing more than something that will happen in a short time, nothing more than a matter of course."
