Chapter 666, Section 673: "Including Me"
Since George Weasley and Fred Weasley had already graduated and were no longer students at Hogwarts, they only had two hours to apply to enter Hogwarts. The two hours passed quickly, and at the urging of the suddenly appearing Tyella, they had to get up and leave Hogwarts.
“Hmm, Tierra!” Harry suddenly exclaimed after seeing George and Fred Weasley off. “Yeah, I heard... I heard that things haven’t been peaceful at the International Magical Federation lately.”
“The International Magical Federation has never been peaceful,” Tierra explained with a laugh. “Or to put it another way, they’ve always been chaotic.”
"They set up a whole host of redundant agencies just to demonstrate their power and supreme status," Tiera sarcastically remarked. "But what they don't realize is that supreme power and status don't come from those red tape and overly cumbersome administrative institutions. To achieve absolute power, there are only two things—"
“Absolute military force, and a deep-rooted rule,” Tierra said with a smile.
“But in the wizarding world, absolute force is enough.” Tiera shrugged. “Besides, the International Magical Federation not only lacks the force to overpower me, but also lacks the determination to penetrate the grassroots and deeply connect with the interests of the masses in the entire international wizarding community.”
"They don't even have the guts to declare war on me. All they're willing to do is use the pretext of declaring war on me to further scatter and redistribute the already scarce resources of the international magical community."
"The lower classes of the international magical society will become even poorer, and the upper classes... well, the upper classes will be drastically reduced. But... hehe, although many of the upper classes will decline, they will quickly transform themselves into compradors, bureaucrats, traitors, and collaborators, helping us continue to oppress the local people, and maintaining their high-standard, luxurious lives on the scraps that slip through our fingers."
"Hmm," Harry said, seemingly understanding but not quite.
"Alright, Harry." Seeing Harry's bewildered look, Thiers reached out and ruffled Harry's fluffy head. "These things aren't for you to think about right now. I'll handle the international pressure; they're just a bunch of clowns. What you need to think about now is how to quickly learn Occlumency. Once you've learned Occlumency, we'll work together to make Voldemort pay the price he deserves!"
"Yes!" Harry nodded emphatically, gave Tyella a deep look, and hesitated for a moment, as if he wanted to say something but then stopped himself—
"Don't even think about it, Harry." Seemingly sensing what Harry was about to say, Tyrell retorted with a faint smile, "Don't you understand why I insisted on having Snape as your Occlumency teacher?"
“Brain Occupation and Patronus Spells are two completely opposite forms of magic,” Tiera explained, combining magical principles with her own fabricated explanation. “The Patronus Spell utilizes an extremely powerful emotion of joy, combining it with one’s spiritual dimension, allowing the spiritual dimension to manifest in the material world. Relying on the combination of the spiritual dimension and the products of the mental dimension, it forms a powerful shield to block some evil spiritual beings, such as Dementors, and other primary spiritual creatures like demons.”
"Occlumency, on the other hand, is the opposite. If the Patronus Charm combines the mental dimension with the spiritual dimension, then Occlumency brings the spiritual dimension closer to the mental dimension and creates a fake mental dimension outside of your mental dimension entirely according to your own will. As long as the fake mental dimension is realistic and sophisticated enough, it can deceive wizards of any strength. Even someone as powerful as Dumbledore would be deceived by a cleverly crafted Occlumency outer layer."
“A wizard of any power?” Harry asked in surprise. “Even someone like you?”
"..." Tyella glanced at Harry meaningfully and chuckled softly, "Heh. Including me."
“Occlumency is not simply witchcraft or magic; it is more of a special ability that combines magic and deception.” Tiera continued to fabricate this lie. “And deception, although limited by strength, is rooted in a grand and visionary plan. In other words, as long as your virtual mental dimension is fabricated realistically and ingeniously enough, it can fool anyone.”
“What does this have to do with Snape teaching me Occlumency?” Harry asked, a hint of impatience in his voice. “The best way to learn Occlumency is—” Tyella paused, then continued, “pain.”
“Or to put it another way, an extremely oppressive environment,” Tierra said. “The kind of extremely oppressive environment Snape created for you helped you build a virtual mental dimension—”
"This virtual spiritual dimension is rooted in your own pain, it is entirely your own virtual spiritual dimension, and the barrier it forms will only envelop your own soul, your own spiritual dimension. It can separate you from Voldemort's soul fragments!"
"Alright, go on, Harry." Thierry stretched out his hand and slowly waved it in the air, and a glittering golden clock appeared in mid-air. "It's already 5:47. If you run fast, you can get to Snape's office before 6:00."
"Oh, shit!" Harry glanced at the clock, jumped up like a rabbit in a panic, and dashed towards the basement.
"Knock knock knock—" Harry didn't even know if he was late or not. Before he could catch his breath, he knocked on the door of Snape's office.
"Knock knock knock—" After about half a minute, Harry didn't hear a response, so he knocked again.
There was still no response, so Harry gently pushed the door open—
"crunch-"
Harry pushed the door open easily.
Harry stood in the office doorway, and through the open door, he saw a shimmering patch of light dancing on the doorframe.
Harry stopped, stood there, staring blankly at it, as if remembering something… He remembered—
He seemed to have seen something similar in Dumbledore's office when he was in fourth grade—
Harry took a few steps forward quietly; the spot of light was emanating from the Pensieve on Snape's desk.
The silvery-white substance in the Pensieve is swirling and receding—
Harry knew that was Snape's mind... things he didn't want Harry to see if Harry accidentally broke through Snape's defenses...
