Chapter 677 The King of the Eight-Eyed Giant Spiders
After seeing the car drive away, Tierra didn't give chase; she simply shrugged and continued on her way.
After all, all Tiera share the same mindset.
Once Tyra, who was in the Forbidden Forest, put forward such an idea, it would be synchronized into Tyra's divine dimension.
But these ideas won't run rampant in every Tiera's mind like a wild horse; rather, they'll emerge like cloud data updates, appearing only when a Tiera has a need for them.
For example, Tierra, who was working late into the night at the London office of the British Magic Federation, suddenly had this plan pop into his mind. He then raised his hand and waved it, and a quill pen and a piece of paper appeared in front of him. Tierra began to write a proposal about magical artificial technology.
After walking for about twenty minutes in the Forbidden Forest, Tiera heard a loud "click-clack" sound.
The loud "click-clack" sound grew louder and louder as it approached.
Tierra stood still, and then—
He was suddenly grabbed around the waist by a long, hairy thing, leaving him hanging face down in mid-air.
Tiera relaxed completely, his head hanging upside down, and saw the creature that had grabbed him, with six bizarrely long, hairy legs, and two more legs clamping down on him, each with a pair of large, gleaming black stingers. Around that creature were countless other similar animals, all resembling giant spiders, some larger, some smaller, happily rubbing their mouthparts together and making excited, greedy whispers.
The spider that grabbed Tiera carried him toward the center of the forest.
About five minutes later, the surrounding darkness seemed to suddenly recede a bit, and Tiera saw that the ground covered with fallen leaves was now teeming with spiders of all sizes.
Tiera had reached the edge of a wide depression, where the trees had been violently cleared away, leaving behind visible, decaying giant trees and fallen leaves. The stars illuminated countless spiders—
Each one was as big as a horse pulling a cart, with eight eyes and eight legs, all black and hairy, like enormous creatures.
The giant spider carrying Tiera descended the steep slope toward a misty, hemispherical web in the center of the depression, where its companions surrounded it.
Upon seeing what it had caught, they excitedly moved their large pincers, making a series of clicking and whispering sounds.
The spider released its grip, and Tierra floated lightly to the ground. She stood up, straightened her clothes, and dusted herself off.
"Aragog!" the spider cried out, clearly in human language. "Aragog! My great father, look what I've caught! Look! It's a human! A living human! I didn't catch it at Hogwarts! I caught it in the heart of the Forbidden Forest! Quickly! My great father, eat it! Your illness will improve!"
From the misty, hemispherical spiderweb, a spider the size of a fire dragon emerged very slowly.
Its body and legs were black with gray undertones, and each eye on its ugly head with large claws was covered with a layer of white film.
It was as if it were blind.
"What's going on?" it said, its two large claws moving rapidly, "click-clack."
"A human! It's a human!" the spider that had just grabbed Tiera exclaimed excitedly. "A fresh human!"
“Is that Hagrid?” Aragog said, moving his eight steel-tube-like legs a little closer, his eight milky-white eyes staring blankly at him.
"It's a stranger!" said the spider that brought Tierrand with it, clicking away.
"Kill him!" Aragok said irritably. "I—"
“Hello, Mr. Aragog,” Tyella said politely. “I’m a friend of Hagrid.”
Click-clack, click-clack, the spider's large claws were moving everywhere in the depression.
Aragok hesitated for a moment.
“Hagrid never sent anyone to our depression before,” Aragog began slowly, his voice muffled and weak.
“To be precise, Hagrid begged me to come,” Tierra said.
"Please?" Aragok asked, clicking away. "Hagrid?"
