Chapter 679 Familia
"Okay... alright..." After another long silence, Aragog said with difficulty.

No life does not yearn for eternal life, no life does not yearn for great power, even if the price is to be bound and controlled by a huge political machine.

"We...we...when do we leave?" Aragok asked weakly.

It knew very well how powerful Tiera was. Even though he was old and dying, even though he could no longer see, it could still feel the oppressive aura standing in front of it, as dark and terrifying as an abyss.

It was an instinctive fear, a tremor from the depths of the soul. The fact that his eyes were no longer visible allowed Aragog to feel this oppressive feeling more directly and accurately.

“It depends on when you want to regain your youth,” Tierra said, “or how long you think you can hold on.”

“Can I apologize to Hagrid?” Aragog asked.

“You’ll have plenty of time in the future, almost endless time,” Tiera said, pointing a finger at the King of the Eight-Eyed Spiders—

Even though Tiera's fingers were at least five meters away from Aragog, the space between them was folded and compressed like a crumpled piece of paper.

Tiera touched the center of Aragog's eight eyes with her finger, then withdrew it.

"Click-clack click-clack. Click-clack click-clack click-clack."

Aragog's jaws trembled with excitement, its eight gray eyes gradually became clear, and its sparse, soft leg hair pierced through its skin and grew back, becoming incredibly hard.

The once-empty poison glands were now filled with deadly toxins again.

"Thump. Thump. Thump thump thump thump thump thump."

The slow-beating heart began to pound rapidly, like an engine that had been refilled with gasoline and fuel.

Strength, youth, and an almost inexhaustible life force rejuvenated Aragog's aging body.

"Click-clack click-clack. Click-clack click-clack click-clack..."

Aragog stood up excitedly, supporting his elephant-like body with his eight legs, which were as hard as steel forks, and displaying his excitement at regaining his youth with his trembling jaws.

Tierra stood there with a smile, watching Aragog excitedly revel in his long-lost youth.

“Then let’s go.” Tiera said with a smile as Aragog finally quieted down.

"I wonder if I could see Hagrid one last time? To say goodbye to him?" Aragog asked.

“Like I said, you two will have plenty of time together in the future,” Tiera said with a smile. “You possess an almost infinite lifespan, which represents an infinite amount of time. A month, two months, three months of separation from Hagrid is merely a second compressed infinitely compared to your long lifespan and time.” “But Hagrid…” Aragog asked.

“Hagrid will have one too,” Tiera interrupted with a laugh. “Hagrid will have endless life.”

"Really?" Aragok asked in surprise.

“Really.” Tiera nodded. “A spell that can grant you, or any normal immortality, is nothing to me, but that doesn’t mean this gift is so cheap, so cheap that it’s free.”

"You still want to take life from Hagrid?" Aragok asked warily.

“What do I want from you?” Tierra said with a smile.

"Your eternal loyalty, your support for the government I have established, your unconditional obedience to the rulers' commands." Tiera stretched out her hand again, golden flames burning in it. "As long as your loyalty remains, death and old age will stay away from Hagrid."

“As long as the ruling order doesn’t involve Hagrid!” Aragok said vehemently.

“As long as the ruler’s orders do not involve Hagrid,” Tierra agreed.

“Okay! I agree!” Aragok said.

“A very wise decision!” Tiera smiled happily, her burning hand gently covering the center of Aragog’s eight eyes.

The golden flames were gentle and calm, like strands of golden silk wandering across Aragog's forehead.

When Tiera removed her hand from Aragog's forehead, a small, yet significant, symbol was imprinted on his forehead.

It was a nearly circular pattern composed of countless intersecting non-parallel lines. In the very center of the pattern, there seemed to be three eye graffiti made of abstract curves. The three eyes seemed to be independent yet merged together.

"From this day forward, I declare you my kin."

Tiera sang softly.

"You and your descendants will enjoy my protection."

"You and your descendants will offer eternal loyalty to me, uphold the divine kingdom I have established, and obey the commands of the rulers."

"Therefore I will grant you, and Rubeus Hagrid, son of the Giantess, guardian of the Forbidden Forest, eternal and indelible life and youth."
