Harry Potter and the Great Old Ones

Chapter 729
The experimental table is a large workbench carved from a single piece of exquisite and magical wood, with various wondrous magical runes and patterns on its surface.
It is said that beneath this workbench lies the passage to the legendary Chamber of Secrets in Slytherin.
The workbench was filled with various biological specimens, such as giant centipedes, firebirds, diamond-like dragon crystals, and demon feathers.
On the bookshelf next to it were many medicine bottles, mushrooms, herbs and seeds of different colors, densities, textures and shapes.
The laboratory was filled with a faint scent of herbs and metal. The light was dim, but you could still see various animal ornaments hanging on the walls, such as deer antlers, dragon skulls, spider webs, and other eerie items. These were important tools for studying black magic.
However, Tierra didn't touch those things. Instead, she rummaged through a pile of seemingly messy items under the workbench and took out a wide, flat, hollow basin with a metallic texture. The basin was filled with a liquid that looked like mercury. Even though Tierra shook the basin vigorously, the mercury-like substance inside remained completely still, like the surface of a mirror.
"Do you know what this is?" Langiersu placed the basin in mid-air between himself and Brireim.
"Hmm, no, I don't know," Brireem said after racking his brains.
He swore he had seen this thing somewhere before, but he just couldn't remember where.
“This is called the Pensieve.” Tiera sighed helplessly. “It’s one of the essential points for your final exams, and if I remember correctly, I just used it with you all around Christmas, didn’t I? To be honest, I can already picture your name on the make-up exam list.”
"You should know that if you fail even one course, we will deduct your stipend from next month's allowance," Tierra said.
"I...I..." Brireem said nervously.
“If you don’t want your scholarship to be deducted next semester, I suggest you study hard after you leave this room,” Tierra said. “There’s about a month left until the final exams. Getting an O is unlikely, but getting an A is no problem.” “Yes, yes, Mr. Tierra,” Brirem said, his face flushed.
"So do you know what the Pensieve is for?" Tiera asked again.
“The Pensieve allows people to enter the world of memories, to see our most vivid memories, and to recall some memories that we have forgotten or ignored!” Brireem said confidently.
“That’s a good answer,” Tiera said. “See, if you study hard, you can still learn something.”
“Then,” Tiera pointed a single finger at Blairim’s forehead, “would you allow me to extract the memories of your dreams?”
“Yes! Yes!” Brireem exclaimed excitedly.
Tiera slowly withdrew her finger, and with it came a crystal-clear black thread.
Tiera shuddered, and the silk thread slipped from his fingers, floating lightly into the Pensieve.
The liquid in the meditation basin instantly became turbid, as if someone were stirring it. The originally clear silver liquid gradually turned grayish-black, forming a huge cavity in the meditation basin.
“Then let’s go.” Tierra took Blairim’s hand and jumped directly into the Pensieve.
