Chapter 731 Encouragement to Learn
Chapter 731 Encouragement to Learn
"You mean these bruises are related to Voldemort?" Brireem asked.
“While you were asleep, Voldemort manipulated you to wander around Hogwarts, searching for a precious treasure that I had hidden there,” Tyella explained.
“Is it the Philosopher’s Stone?” Brireem asked.
"Huh?" This time Tierra was genuinely shocked. "How did you know?"
“Everyone’s saying it,” Brireem said, bewildered, “that there’s a Philosopher’s Stone that’s about to take shape inside the castle.”
"How did everyone find out?"
“Ron told me this after he went to Hogsmeade and got a little tipsy,” Brireem continued.
“Ron again… Oh well, I know how he found out.” Tiera sighed helplessly, then rubbed her eyebrows.
He did intend to use this information to lure Voldemort, but he wanted the presentation to make Harry aware of it, so that Harry knowing would be the same as Voldemort knowing.
So he only verbally warned Hermione not to reveal the secret, and did not use magic to stop her.
But he still underestimated the combination of Harry, Ron, and Hermione.
“Don’t worry about this,” Tierra said. “You’re not the only victim. Voldemort also used this curse to control other students. Find the Philosopher’s Stone for him.”
“There’s no need to worry about any aftereffects from this curse. It’s just a very simple curse that manipulates the victim’s body through dreams. I’ll teach you this course when you get into university,” Tierra continued to reassure him. “Thank you, Mr. Tierra,” Brireem said, bowing deeply to Langiersu with great gratitude.
“You’re welcome. It’s what I should do as a teacher and the person in charge of the school,” Tierra explained.
“Mr. Natyera,” Brireem suddenly said worriedly, “what if Voldemort finds out and retaliates against me?”
“You’re just one of his countless tools.” Tierra sighed, feeling a bit helpless at Brirem’s self-righteous sense of ownership. “Instead of worrying about Voldemort’s revenge, you should worry about your final exams.”
“If you don’t do well on the exam and your scholarship for the next semester is cut,” Tyella deliberately drew out the words, “that’s something far more terrifying and real than Voldemort coming after you. You won’t be able to shop and eat as you please when you go to Hogsmeade with your classmates anymore. You won’t be able to afford the magical potions that nourish your parents every month anymore. You won’t be able to—”
“I, I understand, Mr. Tierra!” Brireim said, somewhat excited and ashamed.
"Alright, now that you've realized your mistake, then you should focus on your exams." Tyrell smiled with satisfaction, feeling he was truly a good teacher. "As for Voldemort, please trust me and the other teachers at Hogwarts; we'll handle everything."
Then, Tiera flicked her fingers and gently escorted Briram out of the dark magic laboratory.
"There's still a month left. Make the most of it. Getting an O in all subjects is unlikely, but getting an E or A is still quite easy." Tiera's words came through the crack in the door before it closed.
Brireem took a deep breath and made up his mind again, determined to use this month to get good grades.
