Chapter 799
Professor Frolov stared silently at Tiera, a sense of doubt and curiosity welling up inside him.

He became increasingly aware that this was a chaotic and incomprehensible world.

“Mr. Tyella, I have another question. Are all wizards as gifted as you?” Professor Frolov honestly expressed another question in his mind. “These spells. The spells you just used, each one of them directly overturns all the physical rules we know now.”

"The edifice of physics will collapse as a result," Professor Frolov said in an almost desperate tone.

Tierra listened quietly to Professor Frolov's words. He had also had this question when he first started learning and practicing magic.

The power and rules exhibited by witchcraft, or magic, are indeed significantly different from the physical laws summarized by Muggles.

“Professor Frolov, it is perfectly reasonable for you to have such a question. To be honest, I had similar questions when I first started learning magic,” Tyella replied gently. “Witchcraft is indeed a power and rule that transcends the ordinary; it originates from other dimensions, which we call the spiritual dimension. However, the physical rules that we are familiar with only exist in the material dimension.”

"The spiritual dimension? The material dimension?" Professor Frolov seemed even more confused.

“The spiritual dimension, the material dimension, and the mental dimension,” Tiera patiently explained. “These are the three dimensions we consider in our modern theory of magical power. The material dimension consists of these—”

Tierra gestured to Professor Frolov, pointing to the dining table and then to the tableware.

“The spiritual dimension is our soul, our mind. As for the spiritual dimension, it is the source of our wizarding power,” Tiera said. “It is a dynamic dimension that cannot be observed by conventional methods, but at the same time, it can also be understood as the dimension where Heaven or Hell is located in your Muggle mythology.”

"Amazing. Absolutely amazing!" Professor Frolov, though not a physicist, was also incredibly shocked after hearing these novel ideas.

It felt as if a whole new world was opening up to me.

"So, can we currently observe the spiritual dimension through methods of the material dimension? Or the mental dimension?" Professor Frolov seemed to have forgotten his fear of the unknown and began to ask eagerly.

“Not at the moment,” Tierra said. “That’s why, for centuries, wizarding society has been isolated and closed off from the Muggle world, but now it’s beginning to invite young talents from the Muggle world, such as you and Ms. McGonagall, to enter the magical world.”

“Regarding these spells that we have used for thousands of years, we only know how to use them, but we know very little about their most fundamental principles,” Tiera said.

"So, Professor Frolov, I hope our collaboration will not only extend to this expedition involving contact with the Deep Ones, but will be a long-term partnership. For example, you could use your connections to recommend suitable Muggle talents that you believe are competent, not just those in geology and climatology, but also those in chemistry, physics, biology, engineering, and even computer science."

“We hope to collaborate with Muggle research institutions on the nature of magic in the long term,” Tierra said.
