"I'm going back to rest for a bit." Jeffrey Rocky was the first to finish his meal. He stood up, elegantly wiped his mouth, and forced a smile on his somewhat pale face. "This damn storm, I need to get back to bed before I throw up all that food."

Although Jeffrey Rocky was a wizard, he was still only a young man in his twenties and had no experience in long-term scientific expeditions. Therefore, compared to Professor Frolov and Mitchell McGann, who had backgrounds in geology, Jeffrey Rocky was relatively delicate. “Okay, Jeffrey, you should go and get some rest,” Professor Frolov said with his usual concern. “You’ve worked hard.”

Jeffrey Rocky smiled and nodded at them, then slowly walked out of the mess hall and headed to his cabin.

Watching Jeffrey leave, Mitchell McGann turned to Professor Frolov, frowning slightly, and asked, "Professor, what is this New Era you mentioned?"

“Too specific. I don’t know.” Professor Frolov shook his head. “Although I helped that Deep One bandage his wounds, it doesn’t mean we’ll become best friends who can talk about anything.”

"What revelation?" Mitchell McGann asked curiously.

“I don’t know.” Professor Frolov shook his head wearily. “He seems to have some kind of magic about him. After recuperating in the mental hospital for a while, I no longer enter dreams so easily. But now, ever since I met Tiera, I often find myself immersed in memories of meeting him. No, not memories, more like dreams that appear from time to time.”

“Professor, I think you’re just too tired. To be honest, I’ve been traveling all the way from the United States to the sea recently, and even I’m finding it a bit exhausting, let alone you,” Mitchell McGann tried to persuade Professor Frolov.

“No, Mitchell, no, you don’t understand that feeling,” Professor Frolov shook his head, interrupting Mitchell McGann. “Mr. Tyella’s problem is a sense of presence.”

“His presence is so strong!” Professor Frolov said, “not just in the conventional sense of social presence.”
