Harry Potter and the Great Old Ones

Chapter 818 The Lavender Fields of Provence

They soon arrived at their dinner spot, a small French country restaurant that Fleur Delacour had recommended.

The restaurant's interior is elegantly decorated, with an overall orange-yellow theme. Several comfortable sofas are placed next to the fireplace, and because it is summer, the fireplace is replaced with a shaking plastic and a fake fire.

Several oil paintings hung on the wall, giving it a unique charm.

Besides the Weasleys, Tyella joined them for dinner, but Sirius Black did not.

According to the Weasleys, Sirius ran into an acquaintance at a magical fair in France, and they went to a tavern that night to catch up.

After dinner, Harry and his group stayed at a nearby Muggle hotel. Over the next few days, they visited Muggle attractions in Paris, including the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Palace of Versailles, Notre Dame Cathedral, and took a Seine River cruise.

Then they took an old-fashioned Muggle train and leisurely arrived at a small town in Provence on the southeastern coast of France, home to the famous lavender farm.

They spent a day in a small town in Provence, doing nothing but sitting on the veranda of a lavender farm in Provence, basking in the warm sunshine.

Facing the vast fields of lavender swaying in the wind, chat idly, play wizard cards, or simply relax in the afternoon sun and take a nap.

Even Tyrell lay lazily in the sunlight, doing nothing and saying nothing.

"Hey Tyella, what... what are we doing?" Hermione couldn't sit still any longer and quietly ran over to ask Tyella.

“Of course, it’s about relaxing and enjoying life,” Tyella said without even lifting her eyelids. “What? Hermione, are you tired of staying here?”

"Huh? No... no, it's just that..." Hermione said somewhat awkwardly, "It's just that I feel like we're wasting too much time like this."

"A waste of time? How could that be?" Tiera asked. "Every rest is for a better start."

“But you never rest,” Hermione muttered. “Before you became a god, you never rested, always calculating, calculating, and experimenting. I want to be like you. I…”

“I want to become a divine being too!” Hermione said with a determined look on her face. “My dear Hermione, don’t rush, don’t rush,” Tyella said softly. “I didn’t rest before becoming a god because I had to seize the crucial moment! That crucial moment for my godhood, from a divination perspective, is the turning point of destiny. Once I miss it, it’s hard to encounter the next one.”

"Then where is my point?" Hermione pressed on relentlessly. "Where is my point to godhood?"

“It’s still early, Hermione, it’s still early,” Tyella said.

"How early is 'early'?" Hermione asked, unwilling to give up. "What if I miss it?"

“It’s still a long way off. You’ll never reach that point of godhood until you’ve got everything ready.” Tyella opened her eyes and stared into Hermione’s eyes as she spoke.

"I can assure you, before you're ready..."

"That pivotal moment will never come."

"Tierra, I..." Hermione listened to Tierra's words and felt a strange stirring in her heart, as if she had found a glimmer of an answer, a glimmer of direction.

She knew how much she envied Tiera and how much she longed to become a powerful divine being, but now she understood that becoming a god was not something that could be achieved overnight, but rather required time, preparation, and patience.

“Now,” Tyella stood up, took Hermione's hand, and pulled her back onto the chaise lounge she had just been sitting on, “get some rest, Hermione.”

"You have a long way to go in life."

Bathed in sunlight, Hermione closed her eyes, listening intently to the sounds around her, feeling the gentle breeze caress her cheeks. She began to reflect on the depths of her heart. Perhaps becoming a divine being wasn't her only goal; perhaps she could find something more precious along this long journey.

As the sun sets in the west, the evening glow paints the sky red, and another day quietly passes.
