Chapter 94 Mark
Tyella soon received letters from Ron and Hermione.

That was breakfast time three days after Tiera had asked Tom Riddle about the Dark Lord's mark.

Just as Tierra was picking up a whole-wheat sandwich, two owls flew in and dropped two letters—

The lightest letter was from Ron; the handwriting was messy, and it was only a thin page, but the words conveyed the joy of summer vacation.

Hermione's letter was in a leather document bag, containing more than twenty neatly bound sheets of paper with beautiful, elegant handwriting.

Apart from a few pages of warm greetings to Tyrell, the remaining ten or so pages were all the little witch Hermione's learning notes and questions from the second-year courses she had previewed since the end of the semester.

Tierra squeezed the study notes with a slight headache.

Tyella knew exactly what the little witch was thinking.

Since Tiera mastered the "spying" magic, she has tried her best to avoid direct physical and eye contact with others.

However, at the year-end party at the end of their first year, Tierra still accidentally had physical contact with Hermione—

Although the information Tierra "heard" was vague, she was certain that it was the thoughts of a teenage girl.

It was a hazy, somewhat immature feeling, like the sunlight after the first snow, like the morning dew, like a seedling sprouting from the soil, carrying a kind of joyful emotion.

However, Tiera was unwilling to accept this relationship that could potentially develop into love.

He loved Hogwarts, and he loved Hermione, Harry, Ron, and many other classmates and teachers who were part of Hogwarts.

But he walks a dangerous and lonely magical path.

Aside from the desire to become stronger, this path does not allow him to be mixed with any other emotions.

Tierra silently set aside Ron and Hermione's letters, quickly finished her breakfast, and returned to her dormitory.

Because of summer vacation, Tyrell was the only person in the entire Gryffindor common room. In a place without murals, he could study, analyze, and practice dark magic in peace. He didn't have to worry about Harry or Hermione suddenly popping out from a corner and sitting down next to Tyrell without even asking.

Each time, Tiera had to pretend nothing was wrong and flip to the back pages of her notes before they saw her—

The pages containing the notes from regular pre-class preparation.

This is one of the reasons why Tyrell was unwilling to accept Hermione.

Harry was his sugar daddy, so Tyrell had no choice. Before summer vacation, on Tyrell's birthday, June 28th, which happened to be the first day of Hogwarts' summer vacation.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione had originally planned to throw a surprise party for Tyella on the train back home—

They even prepared a birthday cake.

But the day before she boarded the train, Tyella told Harry, Hermione, and Ron that she would be staying at Hogwarts for the summer.

This left Harry feeling a bit down all night.

On the night she saw Harry off on the train, Tyrell found a small box under her pillow containing fifty Galleons.

This deeply moved Tiera.

The next day, without even having breakfast, he wrote to Slag and Giggs Pharmacy and bought several jars of precious herbs.

But Hermione is different. If Tyrell accepts Hermione's feelings and acknowledges the relationship, it won't benefit Tyrell at all. On the contrary, it might very well allow Hermione to discover her secret.

After all, Hermione is different from Harry.

Harry only wants friendship, even family, but the romantic entanglements of a teenage girl leave Tyella with no personal space.

If Hermione were to discover that she was studying dark magic, or even other secrets, given Tyrell's understanding of Hermione, she might not even confront Tyrell; she would likely report directly to Professor McGonagall... or even Dumbledore.

This is what Tiera fears most.

Not only was she afraid of Dumbledore finding out, but she was also afraid that she might harm Hermione—

Tiera has now mastered most of the common black magic.

He could infuse his painful emotions into his magic, and successfully tested his Cruciatus Curse on Whiplash Spiders, rats, and Neville's frequently lost pet toad.

From then on, Neville's toads never ran away again... These past few days, Tom Riddle has stopped teaching other dark magic and instead focused on leading Tyella in "experiments" with the Dark Lord's mark—

Of course, both Tyrell and Tom Riddle knew that these so-called "experiments" were just for show.

Tom Riddle simply didn't want to complete the construction of the Dark Lord's mark too quickly and arouse Tyrell's suspicion, so he began to provide Tyrell with his original research and experimental notes little by little in batches.

This is something far more precious than the mark of the Dark Lord itself.

Even though less than a tenth of what Tom Riddle showed on the pages of his diary was actually behind the scenes... in Tom Riddle's mind, he would recall the details of how he learned, modified, and developed the two top-tier dark magic rituals, Anchor of Dark Magic and Evolution of Dark Magic, step by step.

During her studies with Tom Riddle, Tyella became certain that Tom Riddle knew about the three-dimensional theory of magic.

Although Tyella couldn't figure out where Tom Riddle had learned about the three-dimensional theory of magic—perhaps from that book, *The Secrets of Advanced Black Magic*, perhaps from the Gaunt family's collection, perhaps from ancient books he'd encountered while working in Burginberg, or perhaps from his own deductions—

However, Tierra was certain that Tom Riddle's understanding of the three dimensions of magic did not come from the Necronomicon.

Because Tom Riddle's understanding of the three dimensions of magic was one-sided—combined with his own bloodline supremacy.

Tom Riddle believed that wizards possessed magic, soul, and physical attributes simultaneously, which was the most fundamental difference between wizards and Muggles.

Just like the vast differences between humans and chimpanzees—

Tom Riddle believed that this difference in attributes was insurmountable.

However, after the development of the rudiments of the three-dimensional theory of magic, or what could be called the theory of magical attributes.

Instead of actively exploring higher dimensions or the possibility of wizards acquiring other attributes, Tom Riddle hastily began establishing his own fallacious doctrine—

A more brutal pure-blood theory based on magical attributes.

In this bloodline theory, Muggles have been reduced from livestock to pests.

After finishing her teaching duties for the day, Tierra touched her left arm with her wand—

A deformed, gaping mouth began to writhe on the back of the right hand holding the wand.

A low, intermittent incantation came from that mouth.

The pain of being skinned alive, the pain of shedding his skin, combined with magic, flowed down his wand into his left wrist.

Tierra's face twisted in pain.

The immense power of dark magic fused with Tiera's body like flames, bringing her new suffering.

The Dark Lord's Mark is not a particularly difficult spell.

There is no need to hold any special ceremony.

Otherwise, would Voldemort have needed to hold each of the Death Eaters' arms and make their marks?

He is the Dark Lord, not a servant of the Death Eaters.

Aside from a few core Death Eaters who have the honor of having the Dark Lord personally brand them with his mark, other Death Eaters have this done by others.

Tierra was very interested in this simplified version of the Dark Arts Anchor and Dark Arts Evolution, but it wasn't until today's lecture that Tom Riddle inadvertently revealed the code that allowed him to control the Death Eaters through the Dark Lord's mark—

A special incantation.

According to this spell, Tierra was able to create a mark that was completely free from Voldemort's control.

Inscribing a mark of dark magic is like getting a tattoo; once it's inscribed, it stays with you for life.

Tiera was born, raised, and educated in an atheistic country. If he had to choose a lifelong faith, or a symbol that would accompany him throughout his life, he would choose this one.

"What a pity..." As the black magic mark was completed, Tiera recovered from the great pain and looked at the tattoo on her hand with a sense of shared sorrow. "That red country, as powerful as a polar bear, didn't even survive the last winter."
