Chapter 2710 Eugen's Wrath
2710. The Wrath of Yorgos
Ella Sekula jumped out of the window with Carl Kestis, who knew the situation was critical, but gritted his teeth and followed despite the pain.
Their hiding place was chosen very cleverly. It was not only very ordinary and inconspicuous, but also located in a neighborhood with a moderate population, making the area both lively and not too crowded.
There are several passages leading to different areas from here, and they are interconnected and easy to escape from.
However, as soon as they ran out, Cal Kestis sensed many faint Force auras around them! These faint auras were simultaneously encircling them from several directions!
"Damn it! It's Ghost Agent!" Ella Sekula grabbed Karl and changed direction.
In the blink of an eye, she had transformed herself into a human woman, with long, black hair flowing down her back. Her distinctive Tirek antennae, known as "Leku," were hidden beneath the wig. She casually tossed Karl a large, floral dress, a popular style on the planet Haven—brightly colored, oversized, and very relaxed.
The clothing, which highlighted the relaxed atmosphere unique to the war-free and economically developed planet of Haven, concealed her slender figure. Ella quickly pulled Karl along and blended into the crowd of people leisurely strolling on the street.
The fluctuations of the Force around them were getting closer and closer; those ghost agents were clearly coming for them, and their target was clear.
Ella whispered, "Don't be nervous, they won't make a move easily."
Carl-Kestis tightened his clothes, trying to appear as casual as possible. He saw several figures in dark blue uniforms moving along the street in the distance, their expressions indifferent, their eyes searching for something.
These were just ordinary people, nothing to fear. However, no matter what, Ella-Sekula always felt that there was an eye watching them from the darkness.
"Damn it...who is it?" Ella Sekura muttered through gritted teeth, "I didn't give anything away! How did they manage to spot me?"
Carl lowered his head and thought for a moment, then said in a low voice, "I'll give it a try to take down a Ghost Agent."
"Don't let your imagination run wild!" Ella Sekula growled.
“Sometimes when I touch certain objects, I see things that happened in the past,” Carl Kestis said.
Ella Sekura whirled around, pretending to check out a nearby trinkets shop while brushing past several NSA agents. She then stared directly into Karl's eyes and said seriously, "This thing is deadly! No joke!"
“If knowing who’s been watching us is important to you, then I suggest you give it a try,” Carl-Kastice said earnestly. “I felt it too. Those eyes.”
"See that bakery up ahead?" Ella Sekula said, then nudged Karl and disappeared.
Carl-Cestis instinctively walked over, but there was no one around. He felt completely lost and could only walk in that direction, his whole body stiff.
Before he even reached the bakery, a group of figures rushed over and gave him a hug, laughing and joking. Carlton immediately felt a communicator in his arms, probably forcibly ripped off his helmet. Its owner's fate was obvious.
"Listen, I've already been exposed for trying to kill this guy. I'll contact you again in ten seconds, and you'd better find something." Only the voice could be heard, not seen; a group of female students, singing and dancing, approached. Carl-Kestis gripped the communicator, closed his eyes, and concentrated. Instantly, countless fragmented memories flooded in.
Childhood whispers, the warmth of family, the calamity of war, the rage of revenge... and... the brutal training, the cold-blooded missions, the countless killings, and the eternally fallen souls.
A sharp pinch on his waist jolted Karl-Kestis out of his reverie. He quickly said, "Sky Squad, codename Sky Eye, he heard the voice on your scarf. Fourteen Ghost Agents have arrived, along with the Twilight Covenant's Star Squad!"
He suddenly pointed in one direction, "Go that way!"
A beautiful scarf was thrown into the air, and Carl Kestis felt himself being dragged along and started running wildly.
This time, Ella Sekura no longer concealed herself. With a whoosh, her blue lightsaber was drawn, and with a few swift strikes, the surrounding surveillance cameras and drones were instantly destroyed. At the same time, she gently pushed with the Force, and the surrounding crowd immediately gasped and scattered in all directions.
A ghostly agent took aim several times but missed completely. He spoke into the communicator in a low voice: "[Target, accelerate! Move quickly towards the southwest exit!]"
A handsome man in blue clothes with short blond hair, who was squatting next to the ghost agent's corpse, suddenly stood up. "Damn it! It's a diversionary tactic! Chase after him!!"
He was none other than Oggs, the captain of another squad in the Twilight Covenant! The Star Squad!
He jumped onto a hovercraft without hesitation and chased after it recklessly. Several other team members dressed in blue immediately followed.
Zhang Xucheng's voice came through the earpiece: "They noticed the scarf; they're definitely up to something! I can't track them anymore, be careful!"
"Sky Squad, get out of the way! This is my prey!!" Oggs roared furiously.
He was the fastest, but he could only vaguely see the target and barely catch up. Unbeknownst to him, he was falling further and further away from his main force.
Suddenly!! A hovercraft crashed right into us!
At his current speed of over 500 kilometers per hour, he would arrive in an instant! The Force was also disrupted, leaving him with no premonition whatsoever!
Oggs reacted instantly, his blue lightsaber shooting out with a whoosh, cleaving the hoverbike in two. But his motorcycle slipped and flipped over as a result.
Oggs performed a graceful somersault and leaped into the air, but before he could land, Ella Sekura had already become one with her sword, thrusting her blue lightsaber straight at him!
The two engaged in a dazzling battle, both wielding blue lightsabers and using the fourth sword technique, Atal. Their fight was incredibly violent!
However, Ella Sekula was clearly no match for her. Her previous two attempts had failed to catch her off guard, and now, facing another captain-level figure within the Twilight Covenant, she was struggling to defend herself and had completely fallen into a disadvantageous position.
Seeing the situation was not good, Karl-Kestis also charged forward wielding his lightsaber. However, being untrained, he was no match for him and was kicked away by Oggs in a few moves.
Ella also charged over, but her lightsaber was cleaved away by Oggs's backhand sword.
Oggs raised his hand and grabbed Carlton by the throat, lifting him up. His face contorted with rage, he said, "Kid! This isn't your territory!" (End of Chapter)
