Chapter 37 One-Sided Battle
"Did you bring all the weapons?" the leader asked after pulling out and loading his pistol.

The others pulled out daggers, folding knives, restraint straps, duct tape, anesthetic drugs, sacks, and other items, clearly indicating a professional team.

Seeing that all the tools were ready, the leader prepared to go in and tie up the people.

Mus had instructed that the body must be alive; he wanted to extort money from the group that smashed his bar first, and then deal with the body.

The masked man twisted his neck dramatically.

"Times have changed." The masked man's exposed skin began to flush red, "but you don't even know what has changed!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the masked man shot out like a bullet, right in front of the leader. Before the latter could even react to what was happening, he only felt something rushing towards him, so he instinctively fired his gun.

The bullets whizzed through the air and struck the steel supports of the warehouse with clanging echoes.

As he spoke, the masked man picked up the pistol and aimed it at the empty magazine above, firing away repeatedly.

The four knew they had met a tough opponent, but having fought their way out of the underworld, they were not about to back down easily.

One of them pulled out a dagger and rushed forward, but the masked man dodged the thrust with a light right dodge, and before the other could react, his left hand was already restrained.

Before he could show his fear, the masked man continued to exert force, tightening his grip on his wrist while pulling his left arm backward.

There were so many masked men, not just to take him down. As he was being pulled down, one of the masked men suddenly sprang up with his left foot and kicked him between the legs.

Those watching the fight seemed to hear the sound of something shattering, and suddenly felt a chill in their groin.

The victim had already passed out, but the masked man clearly had no intention of letting him go. He grabbed the victim's neck with both hands and snapped his neck bones with a crack, just like breaking a shark, before casually tossing him aside.

Seeing the masked monster, who looked like a demon and was covered in red, the remaining three dared not approach and ran away immediately.

The masked man who picked up the dagger aimed at one of them.

The two survivors gasped for breath, staring in terror at the strange man wearing a crying mask. The man responsible for injecting the hostage with the anesthetic jolted awake, a sudden thought flashing through his mind as he immediately shouted, "I'm Gao Bin! I'm Gao Bin! Don't kill me!"

His companion was stunned for a moment, but he quickly realized the significance of his partner's actions. Before he could speak, an air syringe was injected into his neck.

He stared incredulously at his companion, who was like a brother to him, his eyes filled with terror and a will to live. In his dying moments, he saw fear and a desire to live in his companion's eyes, but not the guilt he longed to see.

'This is the fate of those who live in the underworld.'

He chuckled to himself in his heart before his consciousness faded into darkness.

"Oh? You're Gao Bin?" The masked man looked at the man with interest, seemingly unconcerned about his act of stabbing his companion to death.

"That's right! Is there anything you'd like to ask?"

The man, with a fawning smile, scrambled over to the masked man.

The masked man was intoxicated by the thrill of arbitrarily controlling the life and death of others and being flattered and fawned over.

He slowly squatted down and said, "It's nothing. I didn't come to you to ask for any information."

The man paused for a moment, but quickly recovered and continued to flatter, "From now on, I'll follow you. Whether it's going through fire or water, I'll never flinch if you give the word!"

"Hey hey hey, you're exaggerating."

The masked man patted the man on the shoulder and said with a smile, "No need for that. I'm only here on orders from above."

The man breathed a sigh of relief, finally escaping a terrible ordeal.

However, the masked man's next words dragged him back into hell.

"I was ordered by my superiors to kill Gao Bin."

The man's fawning smile froze.
