Although it was late at night, the deck of the Death Star was not silent. In the distance, there were the clanging of metal tools, the friction of ropes tightening, and the rough shouts of sailors passing on instructions in low voices.

The air was filled with the unique scent of tung oil, sea salt, and sweat. The crew members were busy on the brightly lit deck, each performing their duties, injecting the giant ship with sleepless vitality.
