Bringing a System to the Beast World

Chapter 1: Getting an IV drip led to a time travel.

Chapter 1: Getting an IV drip led to a time travel.
Still half asleep, Wu Yue frowned. What was going on at this hospital? It was so noisy and chaotic; couldn't the patients even get some rest?

The burning pain in her throat made her a little irritable. She had been on an IV drip for two days, but there was still no improvement. Wasn't it supposed to heal faster with an IV drip?

She opened her mouth with difficulty, her hoarse voice barely audible, like a groan: "Water~"

But the surrounding noise instantly swallowed her painful groans, and she received no response.

Even though there were many people talking around, no one paid any attention to the patient.

She rolled her eyes, forcing them open, and looked toward the noisy area, hoping to call a nurse to bring her a glass of water.

But the sight that met her eyes froze her instantly.
Instead of the clean and comfortable hospital room I was in, what came into view was a dark and cramped little cave. The cave walls had been polished, but they still looked somewhat uneven.

She was lying in what appeared to be the innermost part of the cave, on a thin layer of dry grass rather than a soft bed. Her body was also sparsely covered with some dry grass, and there was nothing else to cover her.

No wonder I felt chilly all over, besides having a sore throat.

The cave entrance was just a few steps away from her, which shows how small the cave was.

The noise she had just heard came from outside the cave.

A group of men and women, with only grass vines around their waists and disheveled hair, were arguing, and at one point even lifted their legs in the heat of the argument.
Wu Yue silently turned her head away. Damn it~ she was completely naked. Where is her shame?

God can't be so kind to me, can he?

She felt her head buzzing, and then she fainted again.

In the instant she lost consciousness, only one thought occupied her mind: this must be a dream.
When she woke up again, she was lying on a thin back. She was being carried by a man who, although thin, walked with a fairly steady gait.

The dryness and soreness in my throat have improved a lot; I must have drunk water while I was unconscious.

"Excuse me... uh!"

She tried to open her mouth, about to ask where she was, when she suddenly felt as if a thousand needles were pricking her head.

The intense pain made her groan in agony, wishing she could smash her own head open.

The man carrying her seemed to sense something was wrong with the woman on his back. He quickly turned around, put her down, and ran towards the front of the group in a panic: "Chieftain, Yue has had another attack!"

Upon hearing the man's words, a tall, middle-aged man at the front stopped in his tracks. His rugged brows furrowed, and his face was full of impatience: "Are you ever going to stop?"

He walked toward Wu Yue, who was rolling on the ground, cursing and swearing.

Seeing Wu Yue convulsing in pain on the ground, the burly man frowned and looked at the gaunt tribesman: "Carry her on your back and keep going. We can't waste too much time. We need to get back to the tribe as soon as possible."

The gaunt man shrank his neck, nodded repeatedly, then squatted down and hoisted the struggling and crying Wu Yue onto his shoulder, following the group ahead.

Wu Yue, who was being carried on his shoulder, gradually quieted down.
"Ding~ System binding successful!"

A mechanical voice rang in Wu Yue's mind, but she was too to hear it as she was tormented by pain and had fainted.
