Chapter 4 Shock
Just then, a series of roars came from outside the tribe. The little cubs on the rocks stopped sunbathing and jumped off the rocks with a splash, howling as they ran towards the tribe's gate.

Wu Yue and her people were also drawn to the commotion in the village and couldn't help but look in the direction of the sound.

The scene that came into view shocked her and also refreshed her understanding of society: "Holy crap, what the hell is all this?"

A dozen or so enormous beasts carried or dragged their bloodied prey into the tribe, followed by some tall orcs or humans.

They all carried weapons of varying lengths, including a long spear with a sharp stone tool attached to its tip.

In his other hand he carried a precious animal skin bag, which was bulging with contents.

Looking at that colossal beast, which was beyond her comprehension, Wu Yue fell silent. She wasn't even as big as one of its toes.
Even hunting with such a behemoth in the forest is extremely dangerous; someone like me, encountering a wild beast, would probably be killed by a single fart.
The orc warriors, returning from their hunt, were washing the blood off their bodies downstream, where several enormous prey lay silently on the bank.

The furry creatures that had just run over from the open space were now crawling on their prey, tearing at them and making cute yet fierce growling noises.

But their tiny baby teeth were no match for the thick fur of these wild beasts, leaving only puddles of drool.

A snow tiger shook off the water from its body and leaped to the side of its prey. It stretched out its huge forepaws and flipped over the cub that was lying on the prey's belly, drooling.

With a gaping maw, the tiger snapped its prey in two, tearing it apart. The pungent smell of blood instantly filled the shore, and the cubs, still drooling, immediately stopped and looked at the tiger.

Ignoring the eager gazes of the surrounding cubs, the orc continued to devour the fresh flesh and blood of its prey.

A cub tried to get a share of the food, but the orc turned and growled. The cub yelped and retreated to its companions. Only after all the orcs had eaten did the cubs, who had been standing a short distance away, rush forward in a swarm, fighting over the remaining prey.

Meanwhile, the orc cubs and the pure human cubs could only stand aside, swallowing their saliva as they held the wild vegetables their parents had given them.

Only after the orc warriors finished eating did the half-orc warrior look at the prey by the river and swallow hard before calming himself down and leading the strong men there.

"Chief, a small tribe has come to exchange food, bringing some slaves with them. Many slaves died in the winter, so should we replenish our supplies?"

The orc stood before a tall, beast-like snow tiger orc with three golden stripes on its left paw and bowed to ask a question.

Upon hearing this, the lazy snow tiger orc stood up, and an invisible pressure spread around the tribe members, causing them to hold their breath.

The orc took a few steps forward, and then his whole body shone with a dazzling light. After the light faded, a burly middle-aged orc warrior who was over two meters tall appeared in front of everyone.

"How many slaves do you have?" The orc's voice was deep, his eyes filled with majesty, and his whole body exuded an aura of dominance.

Upon hearing this, the burly man immediately bowed and stepped forward, wiping the sweat from his forehead: "Reporting to the clan chief, all the clansmen we brought this time are here. Please take a look."
