Chapter 666: Journey to the West: Zhu Jiumei 25
Tang Monk and his three disciples were traveling westwards, and one day they arrived outside a strange city. Before entering the city, they saw a strange phenomenon: all monks were driven away if they committed minor crimes, and arrested if they committed serious crimes.

The king nodded and said, "Okay, let's have a competition."

Tang Seng said: "Amitabha, how can we compete?"

The Taoist priest said, "Let's compete in praying for rain. If you can make it rain, you win."

Sun Wukong smiled and said, "That's not difficult. I agree."

So, both sides came to the square. A Taoist priest set up the altar and began to perform a ritual. He was seen chanting something and waving the magic weapon in his hand. Soon, dark clouds covered the sky and it was about to rain.

"Master, what should we do?" Zhu Jiumei said anxiously.

Tang Seng remained calm and said, "Don't panic, Wukong has his own way."

Sun Wukong jumped into the air and shouted, "Who is this evildoer causing trouble here?"

The dark clouds suddenly stopped and there was no sign of rain.

When the Taoist saw this, his face changed drastically.

Sun Wukong laughed and said, "Look at me!" He plucked out a hair, blew a breath, and turned into a flying bird. The bird flew into the sky, and soon, heavy rain poured down.

The king and everyone else were stunned.

The Taoists were unwilling to give up and proposed a meditation competition.

Sha Wujing said, "Master, let me go."

Tang Seng nodded in agreement.

Sha Wujing and the Taoist priest sat together on the high platform. After a few hours, the Taoist priest gradually lost his patience, but Sha Wujing remained as steady as a rock.

The Taoists lost again.

The king agreed.

They placed a partition in the middle of a room and placed objects on one side of the partition, asking both sides to guess.
