Chapter 2313 Target Discovered

"Who is he?" Colonel Ke Chuan pressed, his eyes fixed on the captain, trying to find a clue in his expression to uncover the secret behind it all. His tone grew more urgent, for he knew that every piece of information could determine the success or failure of the entire operation.

“Zayev, he doesn’t trust us. He’s been keeping an eye on our every move,” the captain answered truthfully, his voice tinged with helplessness and fear. His body visibly trembled at the mention of Zayev’s name, as if the name itself carried endless terror. Zayev’s infamous reputation sent chills down his spine; even under Colonel Koch’s control, he couldn’t suppress his inner dread.

"Zayev, is Khaidari on the ship?" Colonel Kochuan asked immediately, his tone becoming more urgent, his eyes revealing an intense desire for an answer. He knew all too well that Zayev Khaidari's presence would complicate the entire situation and make it more dangerous; if he were on the ship, the battle would be even more difficult.

However, the captain suddenly changed his attitude and refused to cooperate. A resolute glint flashed in his eyes, as if he had made up his mind. Ignoring the threat of the gun, he desperately tried to rush over and grab the pistol on the table. Colonel Ke Chuan reacted quickly, instantly noticing the captain's intention. He lunged forward from behind, locking his neck with an arm as strong as steel, and subdued him.

The captain, however, refused to give up, struggling desperately like a trapped wild animal. He screamed "Help!" at the top of his lungs, his voice echoing in the silent cockpit, trying to alert the others on board. Unfortunately, Colonel Ke Chuan gave him no chance. The next second, a sharp "crack" was heard, and the captain's neck snapped, his body instantly going limp, turning into a cold corpse. In this brutal struggle, non-cooperation meant certain death. Colonel Ke Chuan knew that in such a critical moment, there could be no mercy; decisive action was necessary to ensure the mission's success.

"Technical Command, contact headquarters." Colonel Ke Chuan tossed the body aside expressionlessly, as if it were nothing more than an insignificant object. He immediately issued the new order, his voice carrying an unquestionable decisiveness. He knew that time was of the essence; he had to contact headquarters as soon as possible to obtain more support and instructions.

"Received." Chetri immediately began operating the communication device, his fingers dancing rapidly across the keyboard as if playing a tense prelude to a battle. He was completely focused, each movement practiced and swift, hoping to establish contact with headquarters as soon as possible.

"What's wrong, boss? What happened?" Noven, who was searching outside, heard the commotion and asked anxiously. He was worried that Colonel Ke Chuan had encountered trouble during the interrogation, and he was also curious about this sudden turn of events.

"Zayev Khaidari is on the ship." Colonel Ke Chuan's words struck like a bolt from the blue, leaving everyone stunned. This news meant the danger they faced had escalated dramatically; a more intense and brutal battle might be imminent. They knew that Zayev Khaidari's presence would make the fight even more difficult and dangerous, but they had no intention of backing down, for they bore the mission of preventing terrorist attacks and safeguarding peace. On these perilous seas, they would continue their journey, facing the challenges ahead, and for justice and peace, they would spare no effort. (End of Chapter)
