Chapter 468. Chapter 467.
The riots in Mengjin did not last long.

After the monks read the scriptures, the body was carried away.

And under the authority of the official in charge, the boatmen who had just finished their meal and didn't even have time to drink tea to break their sweat were pulled over and began to quickly load the ship.

In less than half an hour, under the curious sneak peeks of a group of people, a car and a monk boarded the boat together.

This kind of wide boat is specially used to pull goods and deliver cars. There are 20 helmsmen on each boat. After the cables were released, [-] people chanted and started to ferry towards the opposite side of the river.

To Li Zhen and Xuanzang, the caravan they put on was like the God of Plague Avoidance, including the few practitioners who were obviously guards. They hid far away and didn't dare to get close at all.

Li Zhen didn't care either, just stood by the boat, staring at the rushing muddy Yellow River in a daze.

At this time, Xuanzang walked up to him, also staring at the water of the Yellow River and asked:

"What is the Taoist priest thinking?"

"I didn't think of anything."

Li Zhen gave him a puzzled look, then shook his head:

"What?"

He really didn't think much about it, firstly, he didn't think about the girl in the car, and secondly, he didn't think about what happened in Hedong.

The Yellow River is the mother river.

Like the Yangtze River, I believe that every modern person passing by has a very special affection and tenderness for these two rivers.

In front of mother, there is no need to think too much.

All you need to do is feel its gentleness that has lasted for thousands of years.

However, Xuanzang obviously did not receive nine years of compulsory education. After hearing Li Zhen's words, he thought Li Zhen was perfunctory, so he asked directly:
"Is the Taoist priest annoying the poor monk?"

"Annoyed what are you doing?"

Li Zhen became more and more puzzled...but immediately realized what the other party meant, and asked:

"Do you think...I don't approve of the death of those three people? Or...do you think they deserve to die?"

There was no need for Xuanzang to answer, he just looked at the river and answered by himself:

"Actually, it's not. When you come out to mess around, what you do is to lick blood at the edge of a knife. If you don't have any awareness, you might as well stay away. And the reason why I stopped you just now is also very simple...you are too simple. "

"...?"

Hearing Li Zhen's words, the monk inevitably had a trace of doubt.

I?
simple?

This may be a joke for anyone in the world to hear.

How dare a Taoist priest who came out of nowhere dare to falsely say that the eminent monk of Bodhi Temple is "simple"?
What are you talking about, nonsense?

Feeling the monk's emotions, Li Zhen looked at the river, listened to the chant in his ear, and said as if talking to himself:

"People say that Buddhism is merciful, and that you are more inclusive. I don't mean to belittle you, but I just think... If you blindly bring all kinds of ghosts and snakes to your home, then there will be troubles in your home one day. Actually... Monk, what do you think?" There is an unsatisfied desire, right?"

Looking away slowly, looking at Xuanzang, the Taoist asked:
"The current Buddhism restricts the angle from which you can see the world."

"!"

A trace of surprise quickly flashed across the monk's face.

But Li Zhen turned his head again.

"To put it bluntly, you have come to the end of this road. It is said that the meaning of reading a hundred times is self-evident. The more you read about Buddhism now, the more confused you will be...Of course, I gave it as a Taoist priest. My own opinion, if you really want you to betray Buddhism and become some kind of big devil, let me say yes first, I will not take the blame."

"Uh……"

Originally, Xuanzang was still listening seriously.

But when Li Zhen changed his subject so abruptly...he really couldn't react.

What are you doing?
What am I... why did I betray Buddhism?
Seeing his half speechless and half absurd appearance, Li Zhen shook his head with a smile and asked:

"Monk, you can't get what you ask for. Is it suffering?"

"..."

Xuanzang was silent.

Among the waves of flowing water, nodding his head, he said:
"bitter."

"Can't you get rid of it?"

"……Um."

"Actually, I think this may be what your master meant. Let you come out and see the world for yourself."

"..."

"Take yourself out of the teachings of the Buddhist scriptures, and use as calm and objective eyes as possible to look at the world clearly. To save yourself? Rather, it should be a kind of... how should I put it, a route for you to think for yourself.

For example, the sutra you recited today... I remember that Venerable Kassapa seems to be the No. 1 ascetic monk, right? All the other Buddha disciples are saving sentient beings, but he feels that he is not capable enough, and he is worried that his ability cannot persuade those people. Therefore, since he cannot save sentient beings like others, he finally chooses a line called " Take care of yourself"... Think about it, isn't that the truth? "

At this time, Xuanzang's eyes were genuinely puzzled.

The Taoist in front of him... simply overturned everything he had learned.

The Buddhist scriptures teach us to guide all living beings to be good and achieve the right result.

This is the natural responsibility of monks.

But... Hearing his words, Xuanzang also followed this question in his heart, and a question popped up.

"If there really are monks like Venerable Kasyapa... who don't have enough "ability", what should we do?"

Is it to continue to perform a duty that is not competent at all with a somewhat misleading obsession?

Or...to save others first to save oneself?

For a moment, although he was not at a loss, he was a little confused.

"..."

The boss of the ship's horn sounded at the stern, giving orders to the boatmen, and driving along the L-shaped route to the pier on the opposite bank.

The monk stood by the side of the boat, staring at the muddy yellow river without saying a word.

He couldn't figure out this question.

Or……

"Then how do we understand whether we are saving ourselves or saving others?"

he asked.

Hearing this, Li Zhen shrugged:

"You ask me, who do I ask?"

"...The Daoist doesn't know?"

"Sure, I want to know that I am the person who claims to be the most promising person to become a Buddha in 500 years. What else do you want?"

Li Zhen laughed.

But Xuanzang didn't smile, but frowned.

After thinking about it, he continued to ask:
"Why did the priest block me just now..."

"To prevent you from killing him?"

"Ah."

"Aren't you a monk? Don't you don't kill?...Although I always feel that you are quite hypocritical, whether you don't kill or kill as a crime, you have said good things. You know a person It's impossible for Scum to look back, but he just showed that compassionate look. But..."

The golden light in the hands of the Taoist turned into a gourd scoop, and scooped up a scoop of the Yellow River water containing silt.

It floated in front of Xuanzang.

That means let him wash his hands, after all, his hands are still stained with blood.

"..."

Xuanzang did not refuse, and after rinsing his hand with bloody mud between the fingers in the water for a while, the white palm reappeared.

After pouring the water out, Li Zhencai said:

"That's right. No matter how turbid the water of the Yellow River is, it can still be used to wash hands and drink. Just like this world, monk, no matter how bad the world is, it's not an excuse for us to mess it up. What a clean person you are, rare If you see someone so clean, be clean, with blood on your hands...not for you.

You want to be a white lotus, so that everyone who is close to you can see the ugliness in your heart from you. Some people will feel ashamed in the face of this ugliness, some people will be jealous of you beyond recognition, and some people will alienate or stay away from you... But I believe that there will always be some people in this world who see your flower After a clean white lotus, you will think of the deepest kindness in your heart.

And as long as this is done, isn't it better for the world every time there is one more person like this? And this kind of you is saving others as well as yourself.Or... to save others and save oneself. When it really reaches that level, it doesn't matter what the speed is, does it? "

"..."

In the face of the Taoist priest's sincere words.

Xuanzang said nothing.

It's not that he didn't understand, but for some reason, he thought of before he went down the mountain.

The master once said: "The person who makes your heart flutter is right and wrong, and it is also your predestined law. When you arrive, you will see him. When you see him, you will understand."

Know what?
He used to not understand.

But now, vaguely, he seemed to understand.

Isn't the reason why I don't understand what the master wants me to understand is because I am confused? And why are you confused?Because I still don't understand.

I don't understand why there is great wisdom everywhere in the Buddhist scriptures, but it makes him feel alienated.

This sense of alienation is like a person who is full of talents and knowledge, discussing the insights of people who don't know a big character and don't know half of the truth.

Perhaps, those who are full of talent and learning know a lot.

But he ignored it, that's the ignorance of the ignorant people.

The former doesn't know what the latter doesn't know.

So it is doomed that what he said is useless.

And now... in a trance, he suddenly understood.

In the face of people who don't understand, even if you tell what you understand, it will be useless.

What you need is not to let him understand.

It is to teach him to understand, to teach him to understand what he understands.

Then the problem is coming.

How do you understand?
how to teach?
Thinking of this, the enlightened monk suddenly thought of the words of an ancestor.

Up and down.

This sentence, with the meaning of the Taoist...

Coincidentally!

Crossing people and crossing oneself?

It doesn't matter.

be yourself.

If it is done well, there will naturally be people with sympathy to join it.

Just like being a teacher, being a teacher by example, words and deeds are consistent, what is a teacher? The teacher is effective.Do it from the top, and take effect from the bottom!

Is this the Daoist's point of view?
"When you see him, you will understand."

Master...

It turns out... is this your painstaking effort?
Seeing that the disciples are confused, but they are sitting in a well and watching the sky.So he asked his disciples to come down the mountain...to follow him?
Observe his words and discuss his actions.

It goes up and down, and multiplies in the same pulse.

Don't look at the Taoism of the monks, regardless of the different schools.

Three people must have my teacher?
He was in a trance for a while, but in the trance, he found...

The words of Confucian Confucius, the words of the master, and even the words of the Taoist priest, "Don't worry about practicing Buddhism and Taoism, are not all for the sake of making this world better"!

Sure enough... there are thousands of ways in this world, but in the end...

Is it the same goal by different routes?
And so it seems...

Isn't this kind of tolerance what is missing in this Buddhist scriptures?

Then the problem is coming.

This inclusion...

Where can I find it?

Where can I find... Let more and more people understand this tolerance...

What about?
