Chapter 2633 Du Lao Shenjun
The "Grandma Du" project, one of the few failed projects in the "Returning to Tranquility" plan, or, to use a more realistic rhetorical device:

This Lord Dumu almost turned his former residence into a cross-platform operation.

No one can forget the terror of that day, which felt like an invasion by an extraterrestrial demon. More than a third of the direct Pan-Island Chain system of the former residence trembled under its overwhelming creeping root system, and even now it has not been able to completely get rid of the aftereffects of the ecosystem collapse.

The rate of the insect-body star core gushing out, including the insects themselves and their offspring, was clearly controlled by the filamentous bodies and tentacle roots, which were like a flood. The mycelial network that stretched from the sky to the ground even gradually transformed from a metallic texture to the same deep and verdant green under the scouring of the insect-body energy torrent.

The entanglement between the two expanded rapidly from the energy state to the physical form, from the insectoid black hole to the entire battlefield. The ring-shaped floating mountain range with a diameter of several thousand kilometers, which had been formed by the impact, was quickly stained with lush greenery.

The evolution from millimeter-sized mycelia to towering trees, mountains, rivers, and the vibrant life of all things takes only a few seconds, and then it vanishes like a fleeting moment.

And then.
It will rise again and again, never ceasing.

Throughout the entire process, there was absolutely no insect infestation or infection.

The former residence and the America Federation fleet retreated again and again. Although they did not understand how this situation had occurred, they were not blind. Those things were actually growing from the insectoid infestation. Their infectivity was not necessarily higher than that of the insectoid infestation, but the explosive speed and intensity of it was simply despairing.

Lin Sheng: "Li Cang, don't be impulsive, it—"

"Oh, your family has arrived!" Li Cang kicked the Serpent into the Tomb Guardian Beast's arms, then, like an old man in his twilight years, laboriously took Dao Mei's hand, and stood smiling on the black mirror, waving to her: "Dao Mei, quickly greet them!"

"?"

There is great terror here!
The former residence and the America Confederation directly removed his mother Milin and the subspace vesicles, pushing and retreating, protecting the bewildered minions and subordinates in front of him.

“My little one has grown up too!” The filaments hanging from the insectoid black hole converged, coupled, entangled, and evolved, twisting into a rather feminine face: “Oi, you over there with the blond hair, you’ve made yourself look like this, are you trying to make a move on Irelia?”

Li Cang flashed a bright white grin: "Sister Dao, go ask your aunt if it's safe for me to park my will-o'-the-wisp downstairs at your place?"

"Li! Cang!"

Du Shi Niang's icy voice, squeezed out from between her teeth, even directly dispersed the swarm of insects hundreds of kilometers in the airspace in front of the massive female face, its power terrifying.

Li Cang plucked a twisted mycelium from the ferocious dragon robe, rubbed it between his fingers with a nonchalant air, and said with an air of utter indifference, even a hint of shameless self-promotion: "Sister Dao has basically refined the seed. Um, Auntie, I have something else to say, but I'm not sure if I should."
Du Shi Niang's face softened slightly, but she still said in an annoyed tone, "Release!"

Do you want a wife?

"You little bastard, I'll make you pay!"

The regional broadcast was completely silent, or rather, the entire world's radio and television channels were silent.

Faced with this level of flirting, even the well-informed former residents and high-ranking officials of America collectively entered a state of detached sagehood. Lin Sheng muttered something to himself, subconsciously patting the alarm clock-like figure with its ears: "What exactly is their relationship?"

The person with the double-eared alarm clock thought for a moment and then gave a crisp answer: "Husband and wife".

"Oh, so you're a couple. I was wondering what was going on??"

"Measured by human standards, the bond between two people can be simply explained as a marital relationship."

The enormous, feminine face suspended in mid-air extended downwards segment by segment. Every so often, it would be replaced by a segment of a face that was almost identical except for slight differences in emotional expression. It grew smaller and smaller, and more and more vivid, until it descended upon Li Cang Sky Island and transformed into a humanoid figure with all four limbs.

Li Cang's smile was radiant as he opened his arms for a hug: "Auntie, the food's great! You've all gotten so plump!" Du Niu shoved Li Cang aside and slowly walked up to Dao Mei: "My darling~"

Dao Mei hesitated, sounding confused, but her voice was clear: "Oh~"

Du Niu raised his hand, seemingly wanting to pat Dao Mei's head, but Dao Mei subconsciously took a half step back. He looked at his hand, didn't continue, turned his head, and grabbed Li Cang: "Why can't my daughter talk? How do you take care of a child?!"

His anger was palpable. As he spoke, his entire body split into layers, the human form outlined by countless threads completely peeled away, and he swelled violently to several times its original size.

"The child has been a picky eater since he was little." Li Cang, who was being lifted into the air, didn't say anything and just shrugged: "If you ask me, it's all innate! You're entirely responsible!"

Du Niu tossed Li Cang aside: "Yeah, he does look a bit like me back when my mom was pregnant with me."

"Ok?"

"I forgot!"

I hadn't forgotten at all; it's just that seeing Huang Mao's gossipy face suddenly made me lose interest in communicating with him.

"Hey, they call you Grandma Du?"

"They're just a bunch of annoying mudskippers! Just like you, they're good at disturbing people's sleep. Do you know how much effort I have to put into getting 'it' to fall asleep?"

"Auntie, don't tease me, does it really exist?"

"Why don't you try calling one again?"

Li Cangchong waved to the back of the group and introduced Li Leisi, Lao Wang, and Tai Xiaoyi one by one. Then he repeatedly emphasized, "Isn't Dao Mei beautiful in this outfit? It was made by the young lady herself! She took care of everything from clothing and food to accommodation and transportation!"

What else could Tai Xiaoyi do? She could only force a smile onto her face numbly, her whole body stiff and unnatural.

Du Niu nodded: "You really are skillful. Hmm, here's a little trinket for you, I just picked it from that thing!"

It appears to be some kind of organ belonging to the master of the nest.

In fact, based on Li Cang and Lao Wang's heartfelt conversations with the insect over the years, it's theoretically impossible for this thing, or anything on the Nest Master, to be separated out individually. The two of them have about one and a half Nest Masters on their island combined, yet they've never seen its anatomical structure.

The mycelium, like torches, peels away the still-active organs, revealing layers of brilliance, until it transforms into a teardrop shape the size of a little finger, with a wisp of green clinging inside, a cycle of spring blossoms and autumn fruits, a recurring cycle.

Tai Xiaoyi was terrified: "Then...thank you?"

Li Cang's eyes lit up: "Ecological seeds?"

"You wish!" Du Niu scoffed. "You little rascal, I remember telling you, never, ever, ever let me run into you again?"

"Ah this."
