Chapter 388 Why Study Confucianism!

Chapter 388 Why Study Confucianism!
When this ray of light rippled from the Gongyuan, the rolling thunder sounded like a big drum, vibrating in everyone's eardrums.

In an instant, the cold wind around here seemed to have stopped, and many people also stopped suddenly at this moment, only to see the rays of light of literary stars rippling out of the Gongyuan in the next moment, blue, red, purple, all kinds of Colored Wenxing rays of light burst out from the Gongyuan one after another, intertwined and scattered, in an endless stream.

The light of Wen Xing swept across the crowd like ripples, and swept away to the surroundings, but it was hard to see any different changes it brought.

Everyone was a bit puzzled, but they were aroused by the inexplicable thunder, and they all stood up and looked around.

They have even determined that this unusual situation must be able to bring about visions.

However, the light of Wen Xing was still spreading outwards one after another, but nothing else happened.

Everyone was stunned, even puzzled.

"How many times has this star light been in a row?"

"I don't know, there are at least a dozen of them, but it's strange, except for the light, there seems to be no movement? Could this be written by several people at the same time?"

That person said this, but a student next to him immediately raised his eyebrows and said in surprise.

"But how does this explain the thunder? It's winter now, and the thunder only sounds when the Wenxing light appears."

"Besides, the colors of these dozens of literary stars are quite different. It is likely that the literary stars on the entire altar are shaking."

After this person explained it in this way, the people next to him also reacted, so they exclaimed.

"Ah, if that's the case, wouldn't there be a big article published?"

"That's right, if you think about it carefully three years ago, Chu Lanfeng's "On Soldiers and Horses" that year also wrote more than a dozen lines of literary stars, so that he was able to win the prize in one fell swoop, and became the champion later. , almost got three yuan!"

Several people immediately explained, and they became more certain about this matter.

"But this will definitely become a vision. I don't know how it is different from the article of Chu Zhuangyuan."

"This statement is wrong. During the exam for the champion, what was written was policy theory. This exam has just started, and it relies on the test questions of classics and righteousness."

The student argued again, but his expression was solemn.

"If this kind of situation can be written in this scripture article, it will be even more terrifying."

Everyone also nodded, the scriptures and meanings are no more than policy theory, obscure and difficult to read, and even more difficult to justify themselves, if you can really write a brilliant, concise essay.

The unhelpful surge of vision just now made many people have more expectations at this moment. Seeing such a scene, they unconsciously became anxious.

The student who was talking about it was also a little depressed at the moment. Looking at the rippling light of stars, he didn't know what was going on, but immediately, he suddenly realized another thing.

That is the ripples of Wen Xing's light rippling out, and it hasn't stopped yet.

"Seventeen, eighteen, nineteen literary stars have fluctuated, wait, No. 20."

When the student counted to No. 20 Dao Wen Xingguang, his eyes widened and his mouth unconsciously opened.

"Here, has anyone reached this level in the past?"

A student next to him also reacted, and there was a look of excitement on his face.

"With so many literary stars surging, this article is definitely not mysterious. Maybe next, there will be a vision!"

The radiance of Wen Xing is still bursting out from the Gongyuan, but many people have begun to count the number of times these rays of light rippling.

When Wen Xing just shone with a ray of light, Song Muzheng wrote paragraphs of words on the examination paper in front of him with an extremely focused expression.

"What the ancient Confucian saints said is not consistent. The shape of the mountains and rivers is convenient, and the rivers surround the mountains and flow into the sea. The way of Confucianism is like the surging rivers. With the actions of the mountains, countless ways of governing the world have been achieved."

"Today's world is not the same as in the past. The literati and Confucians have literary power. When the world is dangerous, Confucianism and Taoism are the way to survive, but the literary power is mysterious and vigorous. If you don't know what to use for a great power, it is not difficult to describe it. described."

"I have been speculating day and night, but I feel that Confucianism and Taoism have been developed for thousands of years, but there is one thing that has never changed."

"This thing is the practicality of Confucianism. When Confucius talked about benevolence and rituals, he mostly talked about what to do. When Mencius talked about human nature, he also focused on what to do."

"Dong Zi's remarks are nothing more than what a Confucianist should be and what way he should follow. In the future, all his statements will focus on practicality."

"Turn away from the outside and look at it. Confucianism uses benevolence and etiquette to determine one's nature, to use benevolence and etiquette to overcome one's body, and to use benevolence and etiquette to discuss monarchs and ministers. Everything in the world is established by benevolence and etiquette. The people here are all practical."

After a whole day and night, Song Mu finally clearly expressed the meaning of Confucianism in his mind. Under the various appearances of Confucianism, there are only four words.

pragmatism.

Throughout the ages, the ancients have used Confucianism to seek ways of self-cultivation and governance. In the final analysis, they need a scientific and practical way to solve various practical problems.

This is not what Song Mu said alone, and no matter whether others deny it or even criticize it, Song Mu has always held a dialectical attitude towards pragmatism.

In times of prosperity, practicality benefits the country and the people; in times of peril, practicality stays put and wears itself away.

Some people say that pragmatism will make people fall into a predicament, often the ass decides the head, and even stubborn, respecting the past and accepting the past, without any vitality for innovation.

But in Song Mu's opinion, such remarks are too extreme, and practicality does not mean stubbornness. It is easy to lack innovation, but it depends on the era.

In this era, the existence of literary power has allowed Confucianism to powerfully wrap up any possible theories. It can even be said that Confucianism has already represented a kind of miracle. Learning this miracle can give you divine power.

The original framework of Confucianism can still restrain ordinary people, but for literati who have already felt the powerful power, those benevolent rituals are not help, but difficulties.

Song Mu also often felt uneasy. The ancient benevolence, righteousness, propriety and wisdom often made people do unbelievable things. He was restricted by the old system, and made himself painful and the people miserable.

However, Jinling's lectures, the first talk about practice, and the song Roar of Swords and Flood Dragon's Fury made Song Mu deeply remember one thing.

Believe me, I will do it this time.

Why use the old system to strictly restrain yourself, if you feel that you have great power, you should use your words and deeds to prove Confucianism and Taoism.

Some truths, only by doing, can we know whether it is true or not.

In this way, no matter whether it is applying the world, combining knowledge and action, and doing it, and looking for a correct thing, it is so practical, it is suitable for this era, and it is suitable for one's own realm of cultivation.

Song Mu gave this kind of practice a new name, Pragmatism.

As a methodology, pragmatism does not have a complete solution, but instead of asking people to copy the old system, why not practice it yourself and discuss the truth and falsehood.

At this moment, Song Mu's real thoughts are clear, and he has written thousands of words eloquently. When the point of view he wants to express has been clearly presented, Song Mu suddenly felt a buzzing sound in the scene, and then a ray of light hit his face come.

Song Mu knew that it was the article that attracted Wen Xing, but Song Mu didn't care, and just let out a deep breath.

Stretching out the ink pen to dip in the ink again, feeling the radiance of the literary star engulfing the literary strength and penetrating into his body, Song Mu wanted to make the final conclusion for this article.

A real methodology.

Practice, after all, why practice.

In "The Analects of Confucius", Confucius also said, "Aim for Tao, live in virtue, rely on benevolence, and travel in art."

In "Shangshu", when Yao, Shun and Yu gave way, "the human heart is only dangerous, the Taoist heart is only weak, but the essence is only one, and the permission is in the middle."

They also gave the methodology of that era, and they dare not compare with Yao, Shun and Yu, and they dare not say that they have reached the virtues of Confucius and Saints, but they themselves make a start for the judgment of this practice.

"In this way, I think practice is not about what to do, but what to do."

"I have been meditating for several years, and only one sentence, Zhang Sheng once said, studying Confucianism is called the world, and it is not the monarch and the ministers."

"I dare to say, what should I do to study Confucianism?"

When Song Mu wrote this, the tip of his pen stopped suddenly. He took a deep breath at this moment, looked up at the flashing lights of the altar in the distance, and his eyes gradually became firm.

"Set up your mind for the heaven and the earth, set up your life for the people, set up a legacy for the sages of the past, and create peace for all generations."

The four sentences of Hengqu written by Zhang Zai in the Song Dynasty are now vividly written on the paper, and Song Mu's brush strokes the last word, but it is suddenly pushed away by the surging talent on the paper!

Suddenly there seemed to be a few thunderclaps around, Song Mu suddenly raised his head and looked forward.

However, on the altar in the distance, those Wenxing that were constantly shining suddenly burst into light at this moment, and the light of the Wenxing gathered from the bottom to the top of the jewel.

The jeweled literary star floats on the top of the altar, absorbing the light gradually gathered by other literary stars, and suddenly a bright light blooms from it.

At the same time, exclamations suddenly came from outside the Nagong courtyard.

Because at this moment, they only saw that the ripples of Wen Xing's light were as dense as silk, stacked out, and all kinds of lights were shining!
On the attic of the Gongyuan, the bell also rang suddenly.

Countless people got up suddenly, and this city of Chang'an also quietly woke up in the dark night.

Countless people looked at one place in the city, only to see that there was a brilliant light shining there.

The next moment, an incomparably thick and dense light suddenly rose into the sky, piercing high into the sky, reflecting countless dark clouds in the dark night.

In the dark night, the side of Chang'an City was filled with light, reflecting for tens of miles.

The sky was far away, but the beam of light pierced the sky like a lightsaber and went straight into the Gongyuan.

But the next moment, a Juren lieutenant on duty suddenly touched his chest.

As if feeling something in his heart, he turned his head and looked into the Gongyuan behind him.

"This is……"

"Anomalous?"

……

Sorry for the late chapter, which was roughly completed last night, but I revised it for almost two hours last night, and I still feel that it is inappropriate. Today, I revised the next few chapters, and finally wrote a roughly satisfactory one. .

This chapter has a very deep foreshadowing in the early stage, and it is also an important foreshadowing for the future development of the protagonist, so I dare not be sloppy.

Let alone, today is the fifth watch! ! !
