When Egg was talking to Star-Lord, he inadvertently blurted out that Star-Lord's mother had a brain tumor that he had put in himself. Star-Lord knew the truth about his mother's death. What was originally a spectacular scene of a loving father and a filial son, immediately turned into an enemy.

"Quil, you are the only descendant who has inherited my divine power. I have high hopes for you, but you are so ignorant." The giant face of Ego, whose energy binds the earth and rocks of the planet, said to Star-Lord.

"You killed my mother!!" Star-Lord roared with red eyes.

The laser energy gun in his hand fired wildly at Egg's big face.

"Mortal life is short. To me, it is just the blink of an eye. What difference does it make if you die earlier or later?

You are a descendant who can inherit my divine power, and you are no longer on the same level as ordinary mortals. "Ego's giant face was punched with a lot of holes by Star-Lord, but it recovered almost instantly and spoke to Star-Lord with a regretful tone.

"You should stand together with me and work together to rule the universe, but you are so short-sighted. It really disappoints me."

"Shut up!! I will never stand with you!!" Star-Lord said every word angrily, unable to accept that his mother's death was so insignificant in Egg's mouth.

"What a pity. I was very optimistic about you and wanted you to rule the universe with me. After all, you are my only descendant who has inherited the genes of the gods."

Egg said coldly: "Now, just act as a battery for me."

Energy tentacles poked out from the ground and penetrated Star-Lord's body.

"Quill!!" Gamora and Drax the Destroyer, who came to Ego's planet with Star-Lord, rushed over to rescue Star-Lord.

"Unbelievable!"

Energy pulses flowed throughout the earth of the planet, and countless energy synapses burst out of the ground, pumping towards Gamora and Drax.

The entire planet is Ego's body. Gamora and Drax are facing a living planet. Ego's hands, feet and tentacles are everywhere. Naturally, it is difficult to move even an inch.

Mantis couldn't bear to look at Star-Lord, who was penetrated by the energy tentacles and hung in the air. Her eyes were hesitant and tangled, but her long-standing instinctive fear of Ego lingered.

Violent and intensive roars, vibrations, and explosions came from far to near. It was obvious that someone was attacking the planet with powerful firepower.

"Quill, we're here to rescue you." Rocket Raccoon and Groot rushed into the planet under heavy fire.

Followed closely by Yondu.

Predator fighter planes fired and bombed from high altitude.

When Yondu learned that Star-Lord had been taken away, he was very anxious and came with Rocket Raccoon and Groot, leading his army of predators.

"Yondu, are you looking for death?" Egg recognized this predator who had searched for descendants all over his universe.

Yondu saw Star-Lord controlled by Ego with cold eyes: "Ego, I shouldn't have helped you from the beginning. I have killed so many children. I will never let Quill fall into your hands this time. Here, I’m at your mercy.”

Nebula had already followed Ronan to Earth and did not participate. Yondu relied on the whistle arrow to finally frighten his subordinates who wanted to betray him, retained his position as leader, and immediately led the team to the planet Ego to rescue Star-Lord.

"You don't overestimate your capabilities. You think you ants can stop me." Egg said disdainfully.

The entire earth became active, and a huge energy torrent gathered earth and rocks to form tentacles, attacking everyone with an overwhelming force.

The Predator's fighter planes were forced to increase their altitude to avoid the tentacle attacks, so as not to be shot down. The support firepower for everyone on the planet was inevitably weakened.

"There are too many, we can't hit them at all." Rocket Raccoon said while continuing to fire.

"We can't continue fighting like this. You are fighting the entire planet, and you have no chance of winning."

"Quil must be awakened. Quill has awakened his divine power and can control the infinite power of this planet just like Ego. Only he can compete with Ego on this planet." What determination did Mantis make, to Draco? Si opened his mouth and said.

"Quil, you are a kid, but you have refused to listen to me since you were a child. You have made me angry every time. How could you be controlled by this old bastard so easily?" Yondu tried hard to get closer and yelled at Star-Lord.

Star-Lord's bright, blind eyes moved slightly, looking at Yondu unconsciously.

"Shut up!" Ego said angrily when he saw that Star-Lord was affected.The energy-gathered sand and gravel surge like a tidal wave, directly engulfing Yondu and suppressing him.

"Quil, master the power, don't be controlled by it, use your heart." Yondu finally warned Star-Lord before he was overwhelmed.

Star-Lord closed his eyes when he heard the sound, as if he was recalling something. After a moment, he opened his eyes, and his brilliance was restrained, dispersing the energy tentacles controlled by Ego and penetrating his body.

"Ego, you shouldn't have killed my mother." Star-Lord said to Ego.

A powerful energy from the same origin as Yi Ge suddenly burst out, heading straight towards Yi Ge's energy clone.

"This is the power I gave you, and you actually used it against me." Star-Lord was out of his control, and he couldn't do anything about Star-Lord for a while. Egg suddenly became a little angry.

"Good job!" Yondu, who was dug out of the pile of earth and rocks, gasped and watched Star-Lord show off his power and fight Egg.

"This is actually the Quill I know?" Rocket Raccoon exclaimed.

"Although Quill can temporarily stand in a stalemate with Ego, his power still comes from Ego after all." Mantis said to everyone.

Star-Lord is now inseparable from Ego, mainly because he was so angry that he burst out with extraordinary power, beyond Ego's expectations.

Ego needs to save Star-Lord's life and complete his plan without actually using all his power to attack Star-Lord.

If the fight continues, it is obviously impossible for Star-Lord to defeat Ego.

"Then let's blow up this living planet." Rocket Raccoon said with excitement.

Take out the super energy bomb you carefully made.

"As long as the bomb is placed at the core of the planet, my bomb can detonate the entire planet."

"You are seeking death!!!" Yi Ge said in a frightened and angry voice.

Like being informed of Rocket Raccoon's plan.

Boundless energy surged, and the ground surged, crushing the Rocket Raccoons.

"Damn it!" Everyone's faces turned pale as they looked at the earth-shattering scene.

Star-Lord immediately flew back at high speed and took on the pressure for everyone.

"Peter, you are my son." Egg said.

"Do you really want to fight me to the death for these humble, insignificant mortals?"

"I don't have a father like you. They are my partners and relatives." Star-Lord struggled to resist Ego's powerful power and looked back at his fellow Guardians of the Galaxy and Yondu.

"You can't save them!" Egg said coldly, increasing his strength, as if the power of the entire world was crushing him down.

Although Star-Lord tried his best to persist, he eventually became exhausted.

"Do you want to save your companions?" An unpredictable voice sounded in Star-Lord's ears.

Before Star-Lord could think about it, the voice continued.

"Let me merge into your body temporarily, and I can help you defeat Egg."

"Who are you?" Star-Lord asked in his mind.

"You can call me Ebert." Ebert spoke out, appearing in front of Star-Lord as a mass of intangible and qualityless polymer.

"Time is running out. Are you going to let me use your power to defeat Egg, especially if you watch your companions being crushed to death?"

Star-Lord only considered it for a breath or two before replying: "I agree, come in."
