Wizard: I brought the wrong system.
Chapter 139 The Evil Ritual
Chapter 139 The Evil Ritual (Part Two)
Anthony snapped his fingers, and the surrounding scenery gradually blurred. He had cast a spell to seal off the area from news.
Anthony then turned his head, revealing a gentle smile: "Don't you think Lord Bosco's reach is a bit too long?"
Instructor Alice: "Tell me about it?"
Anthony countered, "What are the most important aspects of a college?"
"Apprentice level? Academy level? Or mentor level?"
Alice, the mentor, said with a half-smile, as she sat down in the seat to Anthony's lower left.
“Peppert,” Anthony suggested.
Instructor Alice feigned sudden realization: "I understand, you mean the mission center, the teaching level, and the academy's energy core."
“I enjoy talking to intelligent people,” Anthony nodded with satisfaction. “He says he’s entrusted everything to me, but what’s the reality?”
Anthony: "These key places are actually controlled by his Stone Spirit. He always has the highest authority. And the enforcement team, which student doesn't know that the one in charge of the enforcement team is Iron Falcon? Who even knows what their dean's name is?"
Alice, the mentor: "Isn't he going to die?"
"Death?" Anthony shook his head and chuckled. "Look at that little house outside. He's about to die, but he can't let go of these things!"
house?
Alice frowned slightly: "What could be wrong with that house?"
Anthony pointed out: "The Eternal Arena."
Alice's expression changed drastically: "You mean... the evil initiation ritual?"
“He might be hesitating, he might be wavering. What I need to do is shatter his expectations and make him no longer have such a dangerous idea!” As if afraid of being misunderstood, Anthony added, “It’s not that I don’t allow him to perform the evil ritual. Look at the strange spaces from number one to twenty-five (Bloody Forest No. 13), which one wasn’t caused by an evil ritual?”
Anthony: "But the original alternate dimension he created has long since been transformed into this mysterious palace. If he were to perform a 'corruption ritual' here, even with his little house as a partition, could we guarantee that the mysterious palace would not be affected?"
Alice scoffed, "Aren't you worried that he'll continue to control the academy after he succeeds?"
“His era is over. Those who are past should learn to let go. If they are unwilling to let go, I will help them let go,” Anthony did not deny it and smiled nonchalantly. “I am aware of your actions. If you want to accomplish this, then work with me with peace of mind.”
Alice flicked her nails and glanced at the seemingly gentle man: "Take the blame for you?"
"If you think so."
……
Guided by 'Pippi', Yaro began to walk backwards along the narrow path, remaining vigilant and constantly checking his surroundings.
But as they walked, Yarrow's attention gradually turned to the murals beside him.
"This is a stormy sea area!"
Yaro looked at the towering waves depicted on the mural, which resembled a straight dividing line that split the sea in two, one side calm and the other covered with dark clouds.
On that calm sea, a wrecked ship lay moored, and pirates on the deck were cheering. The scene conveyed a vivid sense of joy.
"Did they cross a stormy sea area?"
Why would a group of ordinary pirates want to cross such a dangerous place?
Yaro was walking backwards. What he had seen before were scenes of various pirate attacks, which meant there were no superhumans among them. After crossing the Thunderstorm Sea, they were only attacking each other. So what was their purpose in crossing the Thunderstorm Sea?
"We may need to continue in the same direction to find out their goal, including why these depictions are here."
But Yaro certainly wouldn't turn around and go in circles just because of this.
Yaro patted the wall and asked, "Pipit, how much further?"
'Pippi' replied, "If you walk a few more minutes ahead, there will be a deviating corner. That's the turning point in the layering of this space. Go through there and you'll reach the Lava Hall. The official wizard is there."
Spatial stratification refers to the division of the same heterogeneous space into multiple spatial layers, just like a building with multiple floors.
Yaro nodded, raising his alertness to the highest level.
The fine scratches on the ground had been there all along, indicating that this was indeed the path taken by the crystal scorpions, which showed that what 'Pippi' said was very true.
That means there really is a hostile, officially recognized wizard ahead.
When he reached the end of the road, Yaro saw a dead end. After surveying the surroundings, he knowingly walked towards the shadow in the center of the alley that could not be dispelled by the light.
The architectural style here is exactly the same as the corner road of the college!
The only difference from the academy is that no spells are needed here. When Yaro stood still in the shadow for a moment, he quickly fell downwards.
……
"Ding Ding Ding!"
boom--!
Before my body could stabilize, a wave of intense heat hit me, and the ground shook violently, like a raging torrent of water.
Yaro immediately deactivated the 'Magic Strike' spell, lay prone on the ground, and carefully observed his surroundings.
The reason I didn't shut down the magic spell before was to guard against 'Pippi', but it's no longer necessary now. Judging from the way the surrounding attacks are being conducted, this isn't the wizard Bosco.
Pipitt is telling the truth!
The ground here was scorched black, and the exposed skin on my arms, pressed against the earth, could still feel the heat.
This is a huge circular floating platform, with fiery light shining overhead. Fiery lava flows slowly and splashes constantly, but it seems to be suppressed by an invisible pressure. Whenever it rushes to a certain position, it is blocked.
The platform has pits of varying sizes, and inside these pits are some crystal-clear insect eggs. Occasionally, one or two small scorpions can be seen struggling out of them.
"Give up, you can't escape the academy wizards' pursuit, you won't succeed..." Pippet's voice chattered incessantly in the air amidst the continuous explosions.
"Give up? And then expect you to be merciful and spare my life?" A powerful voice came from not far away. "In this world, you can't rely on anyone but yourself, including so-called God!"
Yaro looked up in the direction of the sound and the first thing he saw was a slowly writhing mountain of crystals. But upon closer inspection, he realized that it was made up of the bones of countless crystal scorpions. And crystal scorpions continued to appear around him, rushing towards that direction again.
At the very top of Crystal Mountain stood a giant earthen figure, five or six meters tall!
"Earth Element Incarnation!"
He had longed for such a skill, and it was precisely because Yaro recognized the name of this technique immediately that he was able to do so.
This technique is said to require a symbiotic pact with the elements and the strength of a formal wizard to be successfully cast.
The main power of this move comes from the earth element; the wizard simply amplified its power.
So... what is that wizard himself doing?
