Wizard: I brought the wrong system.
Volume 2 Summary
Summary of Volume Two
Let me explain my overall arrangement of these two volumes.
As many readers have probably noticed, these two volumes can actually be considered as a whole.
The key to the connection is the death test.
The training in the first volume was for passing the death test.
The plan and pass rate for the death test were determined by the Jungle House, with the specific test plan chosen by Yaro's mother.
Leaving aside the fact that Yaro's mother was originally an infiltrator, in terms of her nature, Yaro's mother's role was similar to that of a weapon in someone else's hands. Even if Yaro disapproved of her, he couldn't blame his mother.
After the assessment, everyone should be able to see that Yaro has always maintained a distance from the Jungle House, including the Owl Academy, and has a certain degree of aversion to them.
Of course, this is also my understanding.
Few modern time travelers would feel a sense of belonging to an organization that requires such assessments.
Instead, there will always be a sense of crisis, worrying that you will be chosen as a useless person and then abandoned without even knowing when.
Therefore, Yarrow has two choices.
Alternatively, one could maintain this repressed mindset, complete the six years of study, and then be kicked out—or perhaps even perish midway through.
Alternatively, one could leave the academy at some crucial point.
At this point, Yaro had reached his current growth limit.
He already possessed the mental strength of an intermediate apprentice. Before reaching the intermediate level, he could rely on his existing abilities, but his growth rate would definitely slow down afterward.
Even though I have a system, it's called the Martial Arts System. While it can improve combat power, it doesn't seem to be able to improve meditation skills right now.
When the wizarding path slows down, the sense of crisis that 'uselessness will lead to being discarded' will naturally reappear.
This is also a key reason why Yaro wanted to leave.
Furthermore, there are many questions about physical fitness hidden in the middle.
However, it is impossible for Yaro to study and train his physical abilities at the wizarding academy when time is so precious.
But Yaro had always had this idea: 'Since my wizardry skills can't be improved in a short time, I can focus on improving my martial arts. Perhaps I can find a path in this area, and maybe this path is my main path.'
But—can he train in martial arts at the academy?
Who should I learn from?
Where do you exercise?
Because of the emphasis on martial arts training, the improvement in wizardry has slowed down again. Will he be abandoned directly? Or dissected?
This was his second reason for wanting to leave. The third reason was his mother; he wanted to go and gather information.
Of course, the best option is to go back to my grandfather's place first to get the information that is easy to obtain, so that I can conduct a targeted investigation later.
However, the Scarlet Wizards recently attacked, and in order to save his life, Yaro took the Siren Potion.
It's not a big problem; it's only a year, so we can wait.
But the crux of the problem is Alice's actions, which essentially ignited a pre-existing sense of crisis within Yaro.
It's a rebound after suppression!
Do you all think that Yaro was saving someone else?
No! He was saving himself!
He hoped that if he were the one who had fallen into despair, there would be someone who would fight for him!
After all, he had been accumulating this feeling of unease and repression for a very long time (although he didn't say it directly, it can be seen from many of his actions, but I don't want everyone to feel so repressed while reading a novel, so I didn't write it out directly).
What's more, it also involved his only two friends!
Many reasons led Yaro to do that crazy thing—bomb those damned wizards!
How firm is this idea?
This was subtly conveyed through Tides's actions and Bosco's words.
Bosco sighed deeply, looking unusually dejected: "Still haven't given up?"
From many aspects, one can sense that Yaro has a tendency to go crazy when pushed to the limit.
However, after discussing it with everyone in the group yesterday, the final crazy idea was removed, and we decided to write about it from a different angle instead.
In terms of atmosphere, I hoped to write the first volume to express warmth and growth.
The second volume expresses learning and research, along with a touch of friendship.
But all of this is setting the stage for the third volume—how can you not explore a magical world after arriving in it?
I hope you will continue to support me – thank you!
